This petworks location is super convenient easily accessible and the dog bathing section is a wonderful after a day of muddy play. The owner, a young woman, friendly and very helpful, has created a wonderful place for people and pets. Unfortunately, one of the employees, acts like the manager, an older woman with glasses, destroys the good vibes when she is in the store. As others have noted, she is unfriendly, outright aggressive, and RUDE to the point of making customers uncomfortable in the store. I watched her scream at a first time dog family for going over the 15 minutes of dog bathing time. I explained to them that the store wasn’t always this way that it actually was a nice place, I don’t know why the owner continues to employ this person. This is the first time in my life that I have been to a pet store with a really rude human being running the store. Pet stores don’t usually attract these kinds of people. Listen to your customers. GET RID OF HER! She is not helping your business and poisoning what is otherwise a great customer experience.

Pet works is a good pet store when your in the area. Only thing I don't like is how they don't have say over what the volunteer organization homeward bound gets to put in the cages in the front display. I talked to one of the workers she said "theres's nothing we can do for the cats in the front display" really sad I wanted to interact with them before adopting. ( I eventually did adopt them). Madz the employee was very nice and very helpful even let us know when a volunteer was coming. I would give her a 5 star for her work ethic here, but the store itself not so much. Petco and Petsmart have better prices and better options.

This place is awesome! The dog bathing station was very easy to use and the store has a bunch of different options when it comes to pet food, treats, etc. I highly recommend

Stopped by to pick up some doggie food this morning at my favorite pet store. Unfortunately the young blonde girl working the store was not so polite or nice. Don't think I'll be shopping there again if that's how she treats customers. Sad cause I like this place.

Bought goo-eez boots for my dog. I put them on her she ran for 10 minutes and they ripped at the top. I came back to the store the next day. The lady at the desk had to call her manager and the manager said she's never seen anything like that and there's noting they can do for me. That's just crazy I mean maybe if they even looked worn but they don't they look brand new. The product is defective and they're not willing to do anything. If you want to roll the dice and hopefully don't have to take something defective back then shop here. I'd like to add its a tiny little poke hole at the top nothing major or anything they're just not good boots and obviously defective.

Trying to find the right groomer for our new puppy has been a challenge but thanks to Molly, we are now on the right track! She was patient with our pup, offered advice on how to help her adjust to grooming and gave her a great haircut (that I’m sure was not easy to accomplish) thank you Molly!! The entire staff was very knowledgeable and welcoming. We look forward to our next visit.

Best pet store in town! Staff is very knowledgeable and so helpful. They give you their honest opinion on products and are really good about getting you discounts through their discount program. These people truly care about the well being of your pets. I’m in here usually twice a week getting food/treats/toys/etc. They have a very good variety of products they offer and I have been happy with all of their employee’s suggestions. Only pet store I go to in Morgantown.

The staff is incredibly rude. We came in to bathe our dog, for the first time, no guidance. We were going to be nice and clean the tub we used due to having to do that at other places. The elderly woman, with dark hair and glasses, jumped down our throats and was very rude towards us for just trying to help. When looking at other items in the store, we caught both employees, one being the owner, talking bad about us. Will not be returning and will not be recommending this place to anyone. Over priced for nasty customer service.

If you buy a product here and it's defective, they won't help you at all. No refunds or exchanges. I would not recommend buying anything from here. It's quite overpriced as it is anyway. They sell the same foods as Petco or Petsmart but it'll cost you $10 more here.

Today my dog jumped off of a dock into a floating island of trash in the Monongahela river. I'm pretty sure that she thought that it was a solid surface. Anyway I got her out and she was filthy and smelly. I was near Morgantown and had 3 more hours to go to get to my destination. So I called around to some groomers and none of them had any availability. When I called Pet Works they told me that they have a do it yourself pet washing station. So I went there and it was awesome. $15 for 15 minutes of use. They had a variety of shampoos to use, a sprayer with a variety of spray settings, and a high velocity blow dryer. The woman who worked there was wonderful. I was so grateful to find it in my time of need.

I’ve had my little guy here twice to be groomed and had a great experience with the staff up front both times, but my favorite part of our visit is our groomer Jessie (I hope I spelled her name correctly)! She works so well with my dog and does such a good job with cleaning him up and making him comfortable! We’ll definitely be back!

Overpriced and as other reviews states unhelpful, indifferent or even rude staff including the owner. At least one bath station is always out of order and I have to track down an employee to request towels. The soap is always too watery to use, if it is even offered.Bought my dog a treat after a bath from the bakery section and it gave him severe stomach issues. Told the staff and they did not care or offer to check the rest of the products.***Beware of any unsealed/unpackaged food items!!!

The women working on Sat March 18th around 1pm. Was absolutely terrible. Very rude, and aggressive. Once I was finished with washing my dog. I went to dry her with the blower and obviously my dogs hair is going to fly off of her, she was very rude in telling me I had to drag the dryer hose across another customer to dry my dog, ( I was in the middle tub) originally I had her on the floor to dry her because the hose does not reach the center tub well. Very disappointed and will not be back.

The selection here is great, but it is so rare for me to have a pleasant experience in this store. Since the store has been rebranded as Pet Works, I’ve been in about ten times or so and only one of those shopping trips was pleasant as well as the staff actually acting professionally. My most recent visit was enough to make me no longer wish to shop here. An item rang up a dollar more than the sticker price and I pointed that out to the cashier. Not only did she walk with me over to the shelf to prove that I didn’t just make up the incorrect price difference, but she refused to fix the price and insisted the correct price was how it rang up, despite it being marked in two different places for a dollar less. I know it is only a dollar, but it’s the principle of pricing it for less and charging me more. This is the third or fourth time this has happened to me at this store. I’m not sure if the items are priced incorrectly due to the staff being lazy or if it’s intentional so customers are more likely to buy. Due to the dollar price increase at the register and the rudeness of the cashier, I don’t plan to return. Every time I go in here and try to support a small business chain instead of going to Petco or Petsmart, the staff act like it’s a deep disgrace to have customers.

The staff is so rude. I could not return the pet food I bought there bc their special return policy. I respect that but the problem is the attitude of the staff. She is very rude and I never met anybody as rude as she is. That tells you how bad she is. Unfortunately, at the time she represents the store. And because of this experience I will never step into this store ever again.

Nice store and they have a good selection of toys and products for your pet. They also have a self bathing area for you to give your dog a bath and dry them too. It's so nice no mess at home.

Bought an already broken toy without knowing it and refused to take it back because they couldn’t sell it again. They told me to contact the company who manufacture it directly as if they are going to do anything. Thankfully it wasn’t a ridiculous amount of money but I learned to not come back .
