Very well kept establishment. Homeward Bound WV Humane Society has cats for adoption at this location. Most upscale dog food brands are there. The washing station provides equipment for easy washing your dog. Dog toys are $7-10. Not too bad compared to Walmart and such. Would definitely go back simply because it's pet friendly.

Great place to take my dog for a bath. And they have a small but varied selection of products there to choose from. Small little franchise store. I love supporting small businesses so I prefer going here.... It's 10 dollars every 30 minutes to give my dog a bath... But for me that's a great bargain my bathroom at home is not very conducive to bathing a very furry dog lol.

Great place to get things for dogs but not much of a selection for birds. I wish they had more toys for birds but I will most definitely be visiting to purchase toys and treats for my dogs and my clients pets care for. I absolutely love their bath facilities. It's so easy to give my 73 and 58 pd dogs a bath, they provide everything you need to give your dog a bath and the staff is very pleasant and helpful. They have a large selection of everything for dogs clothes, toys, treats, bones, anything you are looking for!! Definitely recommend stopping in

Super helpful staff. I just adopted a puppy, and the staff member walked me through switching her off the brand the shelter had her on. The house brand, Ultra is great quality, and they have gluten free options. She didn't have a sample in stock, so she gave me a whole bag to take home with me! Sure I could find things a little cheaper online, but it's these great human interactions that keep me supporting small shops like this one!

I love bringing my dogs here to bathe them; it saves my back and saves me from cleaning my own bathtub of dog hair, all for $10 each. The store has 3 tubs of various depths (same height from the floor) and provides shampoo & towels. Dryers are available, but I don't use them. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating.

Its a nice location with friendly staff. Great place to find things for cats and dogs. However if you have other types of pets the selection is fairly limited.They have dog washing bays so you can bring your dog in and give them a bath. I also like the fact they work with local animal rescues to put on events to help with adoptions.

READ UPDATE: Very friendly staff, incredible selection, self-service dog bath station! What's not to love? I would recommend this to anyone who is in need of specialty dog food/supplies that you can't buy at a big-box pet store (Acana, Taste of the Wild, etc.) The self-service wash station is amazing and it's only $10. They provide shampoo, towels and a hair dryer. Great place!11/1/2015 update: Quickly ran into Pet Valu to pick up dog food. Grabbed a bag and walked to the register where a woman (presumably the owner) was standing behind the counter talking on her cell phone. As I stood there for nearly a minute and a half, she finally pauses her phone conversation and asked if I was ready to check out. I said I was and she immediately left from behind the counter and began calling for her employee. After several minutes a very nice, younger woman approached me and apologized for the long wait.If you're going to be in your own store and stand at the checkout counter, the least you could do is end your phone call and assist your customers. I'll use this store in a bind, but will continue to purchase my pet supplies from another retailer (website, not local). I wish I could support a local business, but cannot when the owner couldn't care less about their customers. Honestly the only thing saving this store from a 1-star review is the friendly staff.

Love this little store. Great place close to home to grab good quality dog food, treats, and whatever else we may need for the fur baby. Also has bathing stations. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Store is always clean.

Great place. We bring our dog in for cookies pretty frequently, and the staff greet her by name. They have picture contests that are pretty funny. They also partner with a cat shelter, so there are always a few cats on display for adoption. Price and selection are both pretty good.

Great customer service, very clean and organized store, everybody in the is very friendly and helpful, and they carry a better variety of higher quality dog and cat food choices than big chain pet stores for the same price. A+ all the way around.I've been going to the Pet Valu near me for two years. I went in today to pick up two small bags of cat kibble for my hedgehog (two reasons: one, food marketed for hedgehogs is garbage; and two, I mix together two types of kibble to control the protein and fat percentages). When I went to pay for them, the cashier told me that one of the bags was past its expiration date (it was on the back of a shelf and hard to see, it happens). She offered to give me a discount on the larger bag of the same food or any other food I wanted. I went with a similar small bag of food and got a 30% discount on it. You don't get customer service like that at Petsmart or Petco. This pet store is top notch!

This pet store is packed with quality products. A small store but that is what makes it perfect. Knowledgeable helpful staff. They also have dog washing stations by appointment. Highly recommend over Petco...

The prices were comperable or less than PetCo; mostly lower. The store is laid out nicely and it looks moe like a boutique (wihout the crazy prices). The layout was open and airy. The staff was very helpful without hovering. Awesome selection of suff. Their pet food is availabled in sample bags for $1 so your pet can try before you buy.

LOVE the Morgantown store!! Staff is beyond helpful and the manager is the best, ALWAYS so helpful and interested in your pet(s) I travel over an hour to shop there for my pets and can't say enough good about it.

I’ve been here often bathing my dog when it was 10 dollars which is now 15 no problem but the shampoo is so watered down I had to use half of the bottle

The main thing they carried was for dogs or cats. Was hoping to find some stuff for a fish tank they didn't have anything besides plants that they wanted 15-29$ for. Not the pet store I was hoping for.

Very limited on items and not very knowledgeable. I was looking for fish stuff heaters and food. They had no idea what they had I had to help myself. I got the very hippy vibe and very over priced must be taking advantage of the doctors and professors in the area and not the little people.

I called to ask about going in to bath my dog, the woman on the phone was exceptionally rude. I’m not one to ever leave a bad review but this woman on the phone today was so rude I’m not sure I feel comfortable going back there to bath my dog.
