Booking is easy, but grooming service has long wait times. They offer cute doodle cuts.

We love p4p. The staff is amazing and care so much about all of the dogs. They are kind and very helpful. Our dog goes to daycare 2 times a week and gets soooo excited to see his doggie friends. They have birthday parties, Halloween parties, Valentine’s Day, an Easter hunt, it’s really awesome. Cannot say enough good things!

I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with this facility for one day, for doggy day care, and it was truly disappointing and frustrating. The owner of this place was an absolute nightmare to deal with. From the moment I first reached out to enroll my dogs, it was clear that she had no interest in providing a pleasant and respectful customer experience. Initially, I gave her the benefit of the doubt, thinking that maybe she was having a tough day. However, as I continued to interact with her, it became apparent that her behavior was consistent. First and foremost, the owner was incredibly rude and condescending. It felt like she believed she was doing me a favor by allowing my dogs to stay at her facility, which was far from the case. Her attitude was nothing short of disrespectful, and I couldn't believe how poorly she treated paying customers. Moreover, the owner's instructions were inconsistent and confusing. It was evident that she didn't even know her own procedures, as there was a stark lack of consistency between what she said and what her frontline staff told me. It's incredibly frustrating when you're trying to plan for your pets' care, and you can't get clear and accurate information from the person in charge. The entire process of booking and paying for my dogs to stay here was a massive headache. There were an absurd number of unnecessary steps and hurdles to jump through, almost as if they wanted to make it as difficult as possible. It felt like I was begging for the "privilege" of paying them to keep my dogs in a cramped space. In summary, I wouldn't recommend this pet boarding facility to anyone. The owner's rude and condescending attitude, along with the inconsistency in instructions and the convoluted booking process, make this place a real headache to deal with. Save yourself the frustration and find a more customer-friendly establishment for your beloved pets. Dealing with someone like this, let alone an owner, is a complete waste of your time and energy. Go somewhere else.

I worked there a few years ago. Things may have changed but based on reviews and pictures from the website, I don't think that they have much.To this day, I wouldn't want my worst enemy to put their dog here. Here is the honest behind the scenes: your dogs will be put in groups based on size. There are usually 3-4 groups. Some rooms have upwards of 20 dogs. The rooms have an inside and outside area, and usually 1 person in each room (2 if staffing allows, mostly during shift overlap midday). More often though, someone would have to run between 2 rooms (in this case, the smallest dogs would be left alone for longer periods as they tended to be the quietest) and the staff members would run to check on them throughout the day to ensure they were okay and clean up any potty mess.To recap: on average, one person is watching 15 dogs - likely more - both inside and outside (not a clear visual on all dogs at all times). If a fight breaks out, the staff in that room will yell for help, and the person next door will have to leave THEIR room to help in breaking up a fight.Several times I was berated for not properly stopping a fight between large dogs. Imagine one average sized person trying to stop a fight between a great Dane, a German Shepherd, and a husky or two. These are many LARGE dogs in a classroom sized room, with constant stimuli from other dogs and no breaks, all day long.Additionally, the owner knowingly let a large, poorly behaved (and occasionally aggressive) German Shepherd into group because the parents were long time customers and she didn't want to risk them being unhappy - even if it put other dogs at risk. It was a commonly known issue among staff and the owner refused to address it.If you're considering daycare, ask how many employees they have working the daycare rooms and make your own judgment call. If your dog isn't already well socialized though, I wouldn't recommend it at all. There is no adjustment period, and a few bad interactions in a poorly staffed room is all it takes to make your dog become dog-reactive.

We absolutely love Pampered 4 Paws! Once we discovered this place, we decided to take our golden retriever to daycare certain days when we are at work so he can socialize with other dogs and play so he isn’t alone all day. Not only does he have a blast at daycare, but they also will groom him before coming to pick him up just for the convenience of it! We’ve taken our golden several places to get groomed and haven’t had much luck in finding a decent spot until now. She did everything I asked and made him look like exactly how I was wanting! I never thought we would find a place that was able to groom him so well and make him look this good. Riki (the owner) groomed him and I cannot say enough good things about her.I highly recommend Pampered 4 Paws for any of your puppy needs!

We brought our dog here several times to be groomed. The staff could sometimes be very rude. While I genuinely appreciate their honesty about my dog's behavior, they accused us of not telling them our dog snapped at the dryer when that was never something previously mentioned at his other groomer and that had never been our experience when drying him at home either. Every time he would come home from here, he would take significant steps back in cooperative care (e.g., being okay/excited with nail trims, ear cleanings, and being brushed). We recognized that this could just be due to starting at a new grooming facility, so we had him groomed about 5 times. Sometimes his quick would be cut on several different nails which would explain his difficulty with nail trimmings at home following grooms. Each time, his groom really looked fantastic, and their pricing was incredibly fair. However, I cannot emphasize enough that he clearly did not feel comfortable here and that has not been his experience at two other facilities where they gave positive reports other than initial nervousness and I had never seen regression in cooperative grooming care at home. I recognize that it is normal for dogs to feel nervous and uncomfortable at the groomer, but there has been a stark difference in his behavior following being groomed at this facility vs others.

Pampered 4 Paws is our go to groomer for our Australian Shepherd/Golden Retriever Mix! Today I took our new puppy in for a nail trim & had the BEST EXPERIENCE! The standard of care that we received exceeded my expectations! Riki & Morgan were SO kind, patient, & understanding with my nervous pup! They made the process an easy one. Highly recommend Pampered 4 Paws!!! 👏🐶

My 14 yr old lab loves it. The staff is very pleasant and professional. The groomer is excellent. My dog hates to have his nails trimmed. My vet wanted to sedate him. The groomer at pampered4pets takes him back and within 2 minutes trims his nails. He is not stressed out.

We decided to try Pampered For Paws to board our 8 month old cane corso puppy, Daisy, for a day and 2 nights. I dropped her off on a Friday evening and picked her up on Sunday morning. When I picked Daisy up she was in great shape and happy. She was pretty nervous about her stay and they made sure to accommodate her. Daisy has not been spayed yet and they made sure to keep her safety in mind.I would recommend and use Pampered 4 Paws again.

They do an amazing job on my two fur babies. I have been to several places for my mini schnauzers haircut and this is the only place in Morgantown that has done an incredible job. My Australian shepherd puppy just went there for the first time and he looks and smells so good! Highly recommend!

We cannot say enough great things about P4P! Riki and her entire are wonderful! Our golden doodle looks forward to his daycare days (he’d go everyday if it were up to him) and we know he is in good hands when he is boarded. Also an added convenance is that he gets groomed here as well- which is affordable and good! Facility is also very well taken care of! We highly recommend to everyone!

Every now and again you encounter a business that goes above and beyond. Pampered 4 Paws is that business. They have extremely high standards of care. I had recently moved from TN and was told by my pet sitter to insure that any facility we chose was careful to protect his health and well being. When I called - they were very clear on the guidelines required to have my dog there. I felt really good before I arrived.Once I toured I was happy about the facility but what really matters is the care, love, concern and commitment that Pampered 4 Paws has for their clientele. As a newcomer to the area and a caring pet mom this has made all the difference. Morgantown is fortunate to have this kind of business. I highly recommend Riki and her entire team.

I very strongly DO NOT recommend Pampered 4 Paws in Morgantown, WV. I usually never write any reviews, however, I feel as if something needs to addressed to protect other animals and owners from my experience. On Tuesday, August 18, I took Cooper (4.5-month-old German Shepherd) to Pampered 4 Paws for his trial day so he could have fun while Trevor and I went to class. Let's just say that is no longer the case. I dropped Cooper off for his trial day, greeted the owner, and handed Cooper off to her. The owner went to check on a few things while I filled out paperwork. Cooper was watching me from behind the counter, and I witnessed the owner's dog snarl and attempting to bite Cooper for no reason. Red flag #1. I asked the owner to show me around the facility, and she only showed me one room. There were three dogs with nobody directly supervising. Red flag #2. I assumed I was being overprotective and that everything would be okay.Whenever Trevor and I picked Cooper up from daycare around 5pm, Cooper was overjoyed to see us. He cried the entire car ride home. I asked the employee how the day went and she told me that someone had heard a loud scream/cry from a dog. Someone went to check on the dogs and they found Cooper limping and crying. When we brought Cooper home, he saw a few dogs across the street. He immediately began barking, lunging and his hair stood up down his spine. Red flag #3. I have NEVER seen this reaction from Cooper, he had never shown any signs of aggression or fear towards other dogs. Cooper previously believed every dog wanted to be his best friend, even if they were growling at him. He has never been reactive. ***Cooper has been very well socialized prior to going to daycare. He attended a formal puppy kindergarten class, socialized with dogs of all sizes and breeds every evening at Mountain Valley bark park.*** This behavior has continued over the past week, and we have scheduled a private lesson with a trainer tomorrow to address the behavior. I called Pampered 4 paws to get more information about what had happened because my puppy was not acting normal. The employee told me that Riki, the owner, had watched Cooper in the morning. Riki told the employee that Cooper had been screaming and acting hurt for attention multiple times during the morning. Typically, whenever a dog reacts this way, another dog has attacked. Trevor or I did not receive a single call. I asked the employee more about the situation that she witnessed with the limping. She told me that at least 12 dogs were in the room without ANY direct supervision. Do you think it is appropriate for a 4.5-month-old puppy to be left in a room on his first day with 12 dogs unsupervised? I believe it is an ignorant act of negligence. The employee said she would write a note for Riki to call and discuss the trail day on Monday, August 24th. I have yet to receive a call.On top of ALL of this, Cooper started coughing yesterday evening. After $500 worth of vet bills, we have discovered that he has kennel cough. I have spoken to the owners of the 3 dogs Cooper plays with daily at the bark park, and they have no symptoms. We believe that Cooper was infected at Pampered 4 Paws, as he has not been anywhere else that is high risk. Trevor called the facility today to inform them of Cooper's diagnosis, once again... NO response.I am not making this post to get any money back, but simply to warn other people of my experience. I do not want any other dogs to go through what our baby is going through. Please DO NOT take your dog here unless you want them to be terrorized.

This was our first time taking our dog to Pampered 4 Paws. Although the job they did with the grooming is good, my dog came back a totally different dog. He is scared and not himself. Three days past his appointment and he is still not himself. I'm not sure if he was attacked by other dogs or if the groomers were not nice but this is not okay and we'd rather go back to Petco than take our dog back to Pampered 4 Paws. When I went to pick him up the lady didn't even give me a total. Just asked if I wanted to tip the groomer and took my card. Unbelievable.

I just heard that another dog owner had a similar experience at P4P as I had, so I decided to come forward. I would NEVER take my baby there again, nor would I recommend them to anyone. They would put my loving Goldendoodle in a backroom somewhere, somewhere without cameras and leave here there indefinitely. When I would call, they would say they would put her back in with the other dogs, but didn't, I would watch for her. She would come home so sad and worried. When I brought this up with Rikki, the owner, she was nasty, unprofessional and unwilling to listen to my concerns. Do yourself a favor, take your dogs to the facility in Cheat Lake, you will be glad you did!

I really love everything about this place. All their employees are incredibly friendly, Riki takes great care when hiring. They will work around your schedule to make sure they are always ready to take your dog. Tow locations now and I've never been told there either isn't room or she couldn't be boarded, even with extremely short notice. Our dog is consistently excited to go, and sleeps the whole way home.

Oh my gosh. I do not know where to begin. This place is BEYOND AMAZING. I rescue dogs from high kill shelters in North Carolina and happened upon Pampered 4 Paws in the most unexpected way. Remington, a lab mix whose days were up at one of the worst shelters in North Carolina, had a rescue flight out of Morgantown, and then weather grounded the flight. Rescheduled for two days later, I discovered Pampered 4 Paws and asked them if Remington could board there for two nights and then be picked up by the pilot. Stephanie, Melanie and Ricki were happy to accommodate this odd request. Not only did they welcome Remington with open arms, they found and drove Remington to a local vet to receive a vaccine that he needed at the last minute before he could board his flight. They also sponsored the cost of the vaccine!! Ricki then went to the airport with the pilot to ensure Remington was loaded safely. Thinking that was the last they would see of him, they once again welcomed him back when the pilot returned with him a few hours later (the connecting pilot ended up having airplane trouble and there was no way for Remington to complete the last leg of his journey). These ladies are phenomenal. They treat animals with love and kindness, my heart is full that Remington is being so well cared for while he waits for a lift as he continues his journey to his best life and forever home.

They were rude when my dog was picked up. He is shaved bald and they were even shown a picture from being groomed before. He has also not acted right since being picked up. He has acted scared and just not like the same dog. He will not be going back!

I'm very disappointed with the service I received at Pampered 4 Paws. I took my dog here a few months ago to get his nails trimmed for the first time. Like most dogs, he's very sensitive when it comes to his nails, and I have always opted to trim them myself while he sleeps. My mother told me about a wonderful groomer that she took her very skittish and anxious dogs to in her town that actually trimmed her dogs nails without scaring them. I figured it was worth a try, so I decided to try Pampered 4 Paws here in Morgantown. I knew that they didn't have the same skills as my mom's dog groomer as soon as I saw my dog come out from the back room. He was shaking and obviously terrified. Two of his nails bled, which I didn't think was that big of a deal until one of his back toenails actually fell off the next day. He was in so much pain for weeks, and it is extremely difficult to treat a paw wound on a very active dog. Now, months later, the same toenail has fallen off second time. I understand that mistakes happen, but this is much more than a simple mistake. The girl who trimmed his nails was obviously unqualified, and I completely regret ever putting my trust in Pampered 4 Paws to take care of my little boy.

I have had a good experience with Pampered 4 Paws, but this last time was enough to dock my review down from excellent to good. When I boarded my dog there before, all went well (it was only for 2 nights). This past trip I left my dog there and she is pooped as usual (which is awesome), but she lost a substantial amount of weight.....she is actually pretty gaunt. Also we were told we could pick her up any time from 9-11 AM and nobody showed up to let us in. They owned up to the error (a new hire messed up I believe), but a trip across town for nothing stunk.I will probably try a different place next time just because I did explain how much food to give her and she lost a few pounds.

I've only ever gone to the groomers but I love their work. The groomers there have hit the mark every time.I haven't used their boarding services in a while but I will add this....I saw a negative review on here that I wish to address. Some kid named Jeremiah something something....If you are a dog owner and your are one of the types that says "oh my dog doesn't do good around other dogs" then it is you who is the bad owner. That is you the owners fault not the dogs. Dogs are pack animals and very social animals if they do not do good around other dogs or animals in general that is you as the owner that is your fault. Just sit down and watch dog whisperer for God's sake. His techniques Cesar uses I have used myself and they work. Once you as a owner establish yourself as a pack leader a ALPHA your dog will follow you anywhereThis fella left a 1 star review saying his dog had bite marks etc after 1 night stay for his dog.... Uh yeah dude it happens it's a big risk but it is a always present risk but normal... Dogs fight, and it says so in the very paperwork you sign at the business... Duh.... Too busy being a SJW to read 😂

They have done basic trims on our golden foster dog making our daily life so much better! They also saved our dog from a toxic situation, doing an emergency last minute weekend night cut after said Golden got into oil based stain! What a mess! Riki recognized the problems immediately and not only saved the dog but.... how on earth does a golden look good without hair?! Pampered for paws are magic heros. Riki is the Golden one!

This place is incredible for boarding and daycare. Our dog has been going for about 4 years (he's been going since he was old enough to go)--he has separation anxiety and this has a lifesaver for us and him. We always feel so great that we know our dog is in the best care possible at PPP.

My daughter brought in my expensive fleece coated labradoodle with specific instructions NOT to shave him and picked up a unrecognizable shaved down rat. There were NO MATTS! He is a fleece coat that is brushed every day. I have taken him regularly to groomers since 9 weeks old. He was shaved bald in spots, ears that were not supposed to be touched were cut short and uneven. She said I should have known when he was ready in less than two hours. Absolute laziness! Lucky hair grows back. I wish I could post pics, it is that terrible!!

I normally give a great rating but I had a death in the family and had 10 days left out of my 20 day package and payment was needed. My mind was someplace else. I dropped my dog off on Monday and received an extremely rude phone call and email how my dog is not welcome until I pay for something I haven’t even used yet. In addition lies about how I received emails prior to this point which I did not. In addition my dog has been attending since they opened, they lost a three year customer and someone who always referred others. I will no longer refer individuals after how I was treated and I will be switching daycares. I have always been a great customer just shows how poorly they consider their long time customers. Very rude and unprofessional.

Riki did a great job grooming my Yorkie. Best groom he's ever gotten and she only charged me ~$20.I also had my yorkie dog-sitted for a weekend, she came by the house 3 times a day. It was very convenient, and my dog was well taken care of.

IF YOU CARE ANYTHING ABOUT THE SAFETY AND WELLNESS OF YOUR DOG, DO NOT SEND THEM HERE! Terrible experience and terrible staff. I would give zero stars if possible. My dog came home with a giant lesion on the inside of her leg with no explanation. And no, it wasn’t a normal scratch from rough housing. It was a perfectly circular 50-cent piece sized RAISED lesion on the inside of her back leg. She was there an entire day, had a a bath, and yet I had no report of the injury other than “she was mounted.” Lacy and Ricki (manager and owner respectively) couldn’t have cared less that I was upset or that my dog was hurt. In fact, Ricki told me I was looking at the wrong dog on the footage cameras, so what happened to my dog couldn’t have happened there. But I never claimed to see the footage of the incident! She treated me disrespectfully and continued to talk over me while I explained the situation to her. They do not document ANYTHING HERE! I asked for reports and footage of the incident, and the bath report that would have expected to include a list of what was done, but the paper they gave me didn’t even have all of the services she received, let alone an injury the groomer may have noticed. IF YOU CARE ANYTHING ABOUT THE SAFETY AND WELLNESS OF YOUR DOG, DO NOT SEND THEM HERE!

We have had our Sheltie, Merlin, go to pampered four paws since he was 16 weeks old. They treat him like he's theirs. They tell us if he was acting funny, and send us pics when we ask. They also tell us about his antics during th day. They are kind to him, and wonderful to work with. The staff even picks him up the way he likes! And he is super picky about that! When there was a bad snowstorm in 2015-2016, they let all the dogs stay overnight. Ricki even slept there to keep everyone safe. I couldn't ask for better care. I will never take my dog anywhere else for boarding, daycare, or grooming.
