Loved this place when I lived in WV. My 2 guys would always get so excited for daycare...they were even extra patient with my bulldog. Great place and great care.

Great experience here. It was about an hour and a half for my dog to get a much needed grooming. Staff were kind and considerate, felt completely comfortable leaving my dog with them.

Worst experience ever. Tried to call about boarding our dog, couldn't get through. We stopped by and inquired about boarding. The worst service I have ever experienced. She was younger, and said that since my dog wasn't neutered they wouldn't take him. Policy doesn't state that. She was not professional at all, and by the look on her face and tone she spoke to me, please take your business elsewhere.

Called a month ago to set up my pets for boarding and was asked to send in the vaccination paperwork. Sent it into the email address listed on the website. I was called TODAY at 1:30PM and told that the paperwork was never received. I was then given a DIFFERENT email than what was listed on the website, and then told that my dog did not have ONE vaccine that NO VET HAS EVER EVEN RECOMMENDED I GET.When I called and asked why this wasn't informed to me prior to THE DAY OF- I was told, "It's very busy, and we only have three people working here". I don't know who thinks that this is an intelligent way to run a business, but they should re-evaluate that. Fix your website, fix your process, and fix your expectations. There's no way that I can get my dog a vaccine within an hour and a half. That isn't realistic. Terrible business.

I can’t believe it has taken me this long to write a review. They treat my dog like he is theirs! I know I can ALWAYS count on them and I trust them to take as great care of my dog as if he is with me. I moved three hours away but still take him here. It is always clean as well!

Unprofessional and incompetent.. I asked about mobile grooming for today.. she said yeah we do it but we aren’t right now because the owner is on vacation for 3 weeks… what sense does that make.

What a wonderful place! They are always clean and look nice. The staff are very helpful and always willing to discuss helpful tips and pointers for our dog. Their prices are a bit more, but you get what you pay for! They don't have any hidden fees like most places; my dogs gets excised regularly and he loves it there. Would recommend to anyone!!!!

I dropped off my 2 dogs on Thursday (2 hours before close) picked them up on opening Sunday morning (903am, 3 minutes after they open) and got a Bill for $304.... my wife and I have had our dogs for over 11 years each now and have been to well over a dozen different boarding places over the years. This is by far the worst price gouging I’ve ever seen. When I went to pick the dogs up the woman rolled her eyes and seemed annoyed to have to go get them. For that price the least you give is friendly and quality service. My wife bought our golden doodle for $4 less than they charged just to watch them for slightly over 48 hours. Maybe if you just have one dog this would be slightly less absurd but with charging over $100/day for 2....I would definitely go to Pampered Paws, Bakers Pet Hotel or really anywhere else. If price isn’t a factor for you and you don’t mind having staff that obviously don’t want to be there then maybe this place would be something to consider

We've used the Mountaineer Pet Care Center twice for day care for our dogs, and have been very pleased both times. The staff is very attuned to the needs and personality of the individual animals, and very accommodating and easy to work with. Definitely recommend them.

This place is awesome and always takes the best care of my dog and cat. I have boarded my dog in at least a dozen places due to travel for work or relocation, and I can easily say this has been the best. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that it's clean, they get a lot of exercise and attention, and it's well cared for. She has always come back looking and smelling beautiful because the groomer does an excellent job. When you pick up your pup and he/she isn't just excited to see you, but actually appears happy and at ease/healthy, it means the business is a keeper!The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is that it is pretty expensive. I would consider other options if you are boarding for more than a couple of nights, as it can easily reach hundreds of dollars for more nights.

They take great care of my pup for doggy day care. She always comes home tired and is always excited to be dropped off. The handlers are great and give me a summary of how my pup behaved and interacted that day.

I use their Mobile Grooming serive and I could not be happier. Barb is wonderful and caring with my baby. I am very protective of her and feel she is in excellent hands during the grooming. I am one satisfied customer!

Not helpful and did not honor boarding appointment. Had used the kennel for years before leaving town for several years. Upon returning to town I naturally expected the same level of service at MPCC. I was very disappointed in the lack of service and unhelpful attitude of the staff.I recommend you find a different kennel. WIll not ever attempt to use again and will definitely tell any other dog owner to not use the facility. Much better kennels available in the area.

They take good care of our difficult dogs when we need occasional week-long kenneling for holiday or beach travel. They even manage to clip their nails and bathe them.
