This is our third time visiting the area but our first time staying at La Quinta but it definitely won't be our last. The hotel is conveniently located right off the beltway and there are lots of restaurants and shops all nearby. The pool looked really nice, hopefully we can check it out on our next visit. I loved that our room had a sofa and there were 2 tv's which was awesome since hubby and I definitely don't have the same taste in programming. The hotel is oddly located beside a place that sells off road type of vehicles but it was very quiet. The bed was soft and comfy and the bathroom had a large counter area and large shower which our dog even had to check out. The window has room darkening curtains so we were not disturbed by any of the lighting outside and we were able to park at a door that led directly to the elevator which was very convenient with our dog. Hubby enjoyed the breakfast selection each morning which was always stocked well, the only thing I would like to suggest is that there be 2 chairs at the table to make eating together possible; the sofa was a sectional but the footrest part was too large and heavy to move to table.

Hotel was decent and provided necessities for a quick overnight stop on a trip. Cleanliness was okay, however could’ve been deep cleaned more. For the price point, it was a fair nights stay that allowed us to bring our pet. Only other negative was that the fridge in our room didn’t work. The woman at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The location was nice as it was right off the highway. Would stay here again for a night if needed.

This hotel was exactly what we needed for a stop along a roadtrip we were taking with our dog. The hotel is incredibly pet friendly while still remaining clean and has beautiful rooms. There was a dog show going on during our stay so the hotel was full of dogs and it was wonderful! There were also 2 group of athletic teams staying as well. The staff was super efficient and friendly. The hotel location is very ideal near many restaurants and shopping as well as close to WVU and downtown Morgantown. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to anyone else wanting to stay.

Recently I stayed at this La Quinta, Fantastic Room! Following their "Standard Floor Plan", very clean rooms! My only Gripe was the Hot Water wasn't "super hot" to get that pain out of your body after a long day of driving but that's more of personal preference and isn't a knock against the hotel.Nearby Restaurants of all varieties make this a good location!Rooms: Very Clean, Firm Bed. Has the Standard Microwave and Refrigerator

Located in a nice part of town, this newish La Quinta is a knockout at a very reasonable price! And pet friendly too, if you're traveling with your furry family members.Rooms: Excellent. Clean. So I stayed here January 24, 26, 27 and the 28. My daughter was very sick and in Ruby so we got the hospital rate at 85$ a night. My daughter paid for the 26&27 on her credit Card from the 1-800 number. So I asked them to take it off since it had already been taken out of her account so there wouldn’t be any confusion and her card wouldn’t be charged. My friend Brittney paid for the 28th on her visa which should have only been 85$ and I paid for 27th and 28th which was supposed to be 85$ a night. But instead they charged my friend 172.44$ and they charged me 172.44 a night instead of 2 nights! We called, we went there personally and they seriously couldn’t understand that that they were charging us double for one night. I tried calling to explain this and the gm starts screaming at me saying me and my friend were running a scam. Saying he put us on a list and we would never be allowed to stay in another hotel in Morgantown. (Which I have because other hotels have heard about management and employees there plus I had my receipt and bank statements from how they overcharged me to prove everything and receipts that prove Ive stayed in their hotel before and hotels all over Morgantown with no problem whatsoever the last 7 months of my daughter being in the hospital and never had ) I don’t understand how the management and the front desk workers seriously didn’t understand that they were charging us 172.44 a night instead of 85$ a night! And they were charging Brittney for 4 nights I wasn’t even there! I was at the Rosanbaum house closer to my daughter at that time . We think they were the ones running the scam by double charging us for the night! I have bank statements where they took it out of my account 3x and Brittneys has her bank statements saying they charged her for like 5 or 6 nights at 172.44$ instead of the 85$ a night! WATCH YOUR BANK STATEMENT! Be very cautious if you stay here! I had to cancel my debit card this morning because they were taking money out again! The GM said that I didn’t pay a dime for my stay and that my money was refunded but we still have 2 charges for 172.00 missing from our account from them! They definitely either have a bunch of idiots working there or they are trying to scam the heck out of people! Be vigilant yall!

We went to the hotel for the location and because of the pool. Worst mistake of my life. When I was walking to get at the pool I fall in the floor pretty bad, a little bit later my daughter fall in the floor to. Thanks God, she was wearing a chest floater if not I may have to run to the hospital. My hip and my arm is hurting me pretty bad since last night. My daughter is feeling ok, just some bruises, I have some as well to. Bathroom wasn't the cleanest.Rooms: Bed was very comfortable, bathroom wasn't the cleanest. Specially the shower head was very dirty.Safety: Pool area is very dangerous. They need to replace the flooring or put the floor pads in the entire floor.Food & drinks: Breakfast was alright

UPDATE - will try again thank you for clarifying.Awesome! They love our big Mastiff!NOT ANY MORE!!Tried to make a reservation for April 2023, they no longer accept dogs over 75 pounds. I am so disappointed. We have stayed here several times on our trips to South Carolina and back (from Canada) had to find another hotel on short notice that will take our gentle giant. BIG dogs are far less trouble and quieter than a small dog. I don't get it.

My room was very fresh and clean minus some dust around the edges. The hotel itself is very modernized and welcoming. Liquid/Bed Bug proof protectors on both the mattress and the box springs which is a huge plus. No sign of any bed bugs during my very thorough search of the room that I completed. Great customer service and a modest price for the quality. No bad odors or loud noises.I do have a few complaints, the first being that I did notice some hairs and fuzz on all of the bedding including the pillows. This is consistent with a few other reviews I have read also. From my experience of staying in 2-3 hotels per week this is a great indicator that the bedding is NOT changed after each guest. This could be a shortcoming of the house keepers and not the hotel itself so I won’t knock them for it. My second complaint is I did not have a mini fridge in my room. There was a slot for it in the dresser but it was missing. As someone who utilized one during every stay that was a bit frustrating. My third complaint was that the bathroom was very small. The door opening into the bathroom room up nearly all of the space and the toilet sat only 12 inches from the ground. Other than those minor subjective complaints I had a great stay and will certainly stay here again when/if I am ever in the area again.

We had stayed at the La Quinta Inn on several different occasions however, we had never visited the pool area until this visit. I was walking from the chair over to the steps so that I could get into the pool and the floor was so slick that I ended up falling. I tried to catch myself which I think I only made it worse the corporation should do something more about a textured surface around the pool, so that your guest do not fall and get injured. . This is a very well run establishment and the employees are always friendly and the rooms are always clean. However, for the safety of your guest this is something that should be checked into. Thank you.Safety: It needs addressed , I am possibly ending up in the er tonight due to shoulder and back pain

I'm very disappointed with the service and the room tonight. I've been at this hotel several times before and had a very good experience. This time it was horrible. From the moment I walked through the door. The receptionist act like she was having a bad night. She asked for my ID and credit card. I placed it in her hand when it was time to give it back she sit it on the desk. Never mentioning that they were there. Just so happened I notice them because I was giving back an ink pen. (WHAT?) Ok, then I went to the room only to see the dirty air conditioning filters sticking out of the air conditioning system. I then proceeded to set my things down. Sat on the desk chair. Only to find that it was broken and I almost hit the floor. We turned on the TV to watch the game. The bottom of the TV has a white strip completely across the bottom of the screen. We could not even tell what the score was because the White Strip was blocking it. I don't ever think I will book the La Quinta Hotel again

I was in Morgantown for business and began my stay at another area hotel — a brand I was familiar with and had frequented in other states. I was extremely disappointed in that hotel and made the switch to La Quinta by Wyndham. From the moment I walked in, it appeared clean, the staff was friendly and the lobby seemed modern and in great condition. My room was just as wonderful — clean and a great size for business travel. The breakfast each morning had multiple options. I utilized the pool and it, too, was clean and well-kept. Overall, this was an amazing property and I will definitely stay again, the next time I’m in Morgantown. Also, it’s in close proximity to restaurants, shopping, etc…, without being too congested with traffic. GREAT STAY!!

Got into my bed and it did not smell clean so I got out and looked at the sheets. To my horror it was full of hair. Mostly pubic and body fluid stains. Disgusted I called the front desk and the manager brought me up clean sheets and did give us some points to use for a future stay. How can a cleaning person just make up a bed that someone already slept in knowing a new person was coming in. The sheets were so thin from use. We felt the hotel is due for a refreshing. Looking worn out. We were there for 2 nights and the hallway floors were never cleaned or the elevators.
