This is the last of the major clothing stores in the mall. They have a great selection for the whole family. I like that they have a variety of sales events but also have finer clothing. The men’s suit section has a wide variety of styles. They do have a salon. There are public restrooms as well. Lots of parking.

An old favorite that's COMING BACK STRONG! I can find proper men's clothes, the wife can find great fashion, and discounts keep it affordable for most.Great shopping experience, be patient and look carefully. It takes time, which is part of the fun 😊

Store was stocked, clean, and organized. Mina seems to be such a hard worker! She was efficient and kind. She kept a conversation while checking us out and was very good at communication!

I had to find a suit for a surprise interview the next day. I traveled all over morgantown and couldn't find anything in my size (52 Long) anywhere for less than about $650. This store actually had a pretty wide selection and at waaaaay better prices. Yeah, they're a little cheaper made but they got the job done.One star drop for only having one changing room that we could find on the entire men's side of the store.

Worst JCPenney I've ever been to. It's small, dark, and overwhelming cramped. Selection and sizing is limited. The layout of the store doesn't make sense. There weren't any employees working the floor. Only one register was open. I will say the lady working the point of sale was friendly and pleasant.

Every time I go into this store it is so HOT! I see another reviewer mentioned this nine months ago! I visited two days ago, and it was excessively hot. A salesperson told me she thought it was about 85 degrees and she was struggling. Another had brought a personal fan but was still dripping sweat. As I walked through the store, which had very few customers, I overheard a man tell his wife he had to go outside to wait while she shopped because it was just too warm inside. There are hundreds of unnecessary lights on inside contributing to the heat, too. Someone is going to have a heart attack. I called customer service to file a complaint. They said someone from corporate would call me back in 24 hours, but no one did.

Has the store never heard of Air Conditioning? I swear it was 80° in there yesterday. And the poor employees have to work in it. It’s sad. They have some sales going on which is nice but I think they should get on that AC. I feel bad for the employees.

JCPenny has a great selection of clothing for both men and women! It is my go to store for getting professional attire for work. They often have great sales going on.

I love jcpennnys. But my most recent experience wasn't the best. A lady left a jacket in the fitting room I walked in, so I took the jacket which contained keys and a card of some sort (I didn't open it, I just felt it inside the pocket) to the cashier and told her it was hanging in the fitting room. While I ran this jacket out, I left 2 boxes of shoes I was going to purchase and a child's dress suit on a chair in the fitting room area. My daughter and I were only trying on 2 dresses, so I didn't think I needed to take items I wasn't trying on into the fitting room with us. While returning the jacket, the 2 boxes of shoes, child's tux, and my daughters outside jacket that she was wearing were picked up and taken to an unknown location. Then, when I asked about the items that were picked up, I was informed that with the store closing in 10 mins, we weren't able to find them at that time. I needed the shoes and tux for an Easter event and it was a last minute shopping trip. I live an hour away and didn't have time to run back for the shoes or personal items we came with. But nice store, good sales, and if you're not bad with a credit card, I was approved for a $5000 credit limit. Without sales or discount codes, some things are very over priced

Visited this Penny's at Morgantown Mall. Another mall that has been struggling. This Penny's is really nice and big. It is kept organized. They were having alot of sales. We enjoyed our shopping and found some good finds.

Tricked me into applying for a credit card, after I repeatedly asked the cashier what they needed all the information for and she said “it is to get savings on this purchase”. Was unaware of that trick until I looked it up after. Had to spend 30 minutes after dealing with automated phone calls before I got to customer service and terminated the application

Great place to shop with my mom who is in a wheelchair. Easy to get in and out of the aisles. Great selection of clothes for her to pick from.

Great store. It's one of the few place's left to purchase clothes off the shelf in our town. I think they have a great selection and prices are good too. Things are usually on sale here as well. They have a nice selection from dress clothes to casual wear to spots wear. I really enjoy shopping here.

I didn't buy anything this trip. Only saw one employee the entire visit. This store just seems a little too crowded with displays. It's clean and organized, just way too much stuff for my taste. I prefer a little more elbow room while browsing.

I’ve never made a review before but I wanted to come on here and say how kind the cashier, Fran is. She was so incredibly nice and helpful when I had a million questions. I just started a new internship and needed professional clothes and was completely tired after a long day, and she was nothing but sweet as she checked me out which boosted my mood x10. Would 10/10 go back again just to have a chat with her.

Purchased suit and shirt for wedding I'm in. The shirt was out of stock and had to be an exact order to match the wedding party, so staff ordered it. When it came in, the online store had shipped the wrong model, and unfortunately the online store was sold out of it by the time the wrong one came. The staff tracked it down at another store in the region, waived the shipping fee as it was not my mistake, and expedited order to my house so I would have it Staff were very friendly and understanding and handled the situation well.

It's held up pretty well over the years. Manages to be cleaner and better stocked than much of the mall. Prices are rather inflated though, especially on simple things like men's t-shirts, but that's to be expected I guess.

Just want to share my experience and explain why I will never return to JCpenny again. I was in a rush, wanted to get some long sleeves for the cold weather and found a cheap good brand here. Mia, checked me out at the register. Told me there were rewards I could sign up for to get discounts on further purchases. I'll admit sometimes I can be slow and unable to pick up on some things right away. So I said yes, thinking it might be something like an email subscription.. After entering my social, I realized that I may be signing up for a credit card. I do not have many credit cards and forgot what the process was like when signing up for one. Before submitting my info, I asked Mia if this was a credit card I was signing up for. She made no mention of a credit card before prior to this. She said yes it was after I asked about it. I then told her I wasn't interested in the credit card. Before my info was submitted, I asked her to cancel. She told me it was too late, reached over, and she pressed the submit button on the keypad. I shop at this store once every fews years. Now, I'm certain I won't be back. Thanks Mia.

My husband and I went to buy casual shoes. There were lots of options with a terrific sale. Hubby purchased Nike's, I purchased Skechers and the total with tax was only $84!Store was clean and sales person was very friendly.

Friendly service. Love the clearance section! Some great jewelry pieces in a vast price range so there's something for Everyone. Organized and I love that I can pay my bill in-store at the register! I also love checking out the Sephora store that's inside JCPENNY. They have some great products,too. But ladies I warn you a lot of their new seasonal fragrances are floral. (Not my taste, but still quality products)
