I give 7 dollars to the cashier because i count them, then he say i give him 6 dollars, probably scam me 1 dollar, watch is hands and always count the money, 1 dollar scam per day can be hundreds in days. Like other people say, is not being clean in months, people doesn't clean the hands before give you the receipts or money. Dirty hands can transfer many bad things like virus or make people sick. If the manager really care about the store and customer service will be less negative ratings.

I was there at 930pm to get dog food and the store was closed with a sign on the door that said they closed at 1000 pm. I didn't realize the manager could choose what time they close the store. Talk about false advertising.

Workers are always outside hanging out with the homeless that plague the city. Nothing is never stocked. Isles are impassable. Store is always filthy. Really wish there was a way I could post the pictures I took of the trash littering the floors and the isles.

It was really dirty and messy. I don't know if they were having a clean out or if they were getting a new shipment, or something but all of the hallways were blocked with boxes and it was really hard to move around the store. The clerk was nice but other than that, it was not a please experience.

Closed at 9:30pm even though google and a sign on the door says "open 8-10 everyday". Lazy workers, reevaluate staff hires.

There was nothing on the shelves or in the freezers. I was looking for a couple of specific items, but all I found was the empty packaging where someone had shoplifted the items. Due to not having enough staff, there's been occasions where they've had to close early, and the card reader at the checkout is normally broken, so the majority of the time, it's cash only.

Would have given them 5 stars if they would not make up hours of operation. Closed at 5:23pm with no note as to y. Staff has always been friendly and if they don't have something they suggest something similar.

Its nice and convenient some of the female staff is customer friendly but the older gentleman is a little rude and unwelcoming vibe he gives and he has the gift of gab about others personal life or certain rumors he may of heard about customers personal life that may be true or is not' true which is a very negative issue about the store. Regardless it shouldn't really matter what walk of life comes into the store the staff should be professional and polite to all. Hopefully positive change happens in the near future because its sorta in dire need of it. My opinion

Really nice people. We accidentally dropped a candle they got us a broom and dust pan and I said id pay for it and they said no its no big deal. They have lots of good item. And it's well ran with not a bunch of stuff everywhere.

Cleanliness sucks. Staff is always changing. This place gets 5 stars because its right in town with no travel needed for the randomn little things in life. They often have clearance items if your thrifty.

This place needs to figure out if they do Western Union or not. I picked up a WU there on January 2nd, 2023...and today in February they told me they haven't done Western Union since November....like what? Even though that's not true, if a change has been made it should be updated online.

The High Street location was FILTHY! Floors had big spill areas that probably hadn't seen a mop in months. The aisles were very crowded with items and it didn't seem there was organization on how things were located in the food area.There was room for a panhandler to stand very close to their exit door. I won't be going back there any time soon.

Ive never seen an older woman more pleased to say no cash back available at this time. And she was very upset i asked for 5, 1 dollar bills for change. The other cats are cool though. Convenient and expensive. Some how haha

The aisles were a mess. Two young boys (20-something) "running" the store, sitting at the checkout station playing with their phones. Nice enough kids, but if you've got time to lean you've got time to clean, or at least reorganize the shelves.

My experience in this store use to be OK until recently change of employees. New employees with new attitudes not so well more negative and fake. I say this because most of the employees that work there now are very rude and I believe some fake pretend their nicest while your looking at them but as soon as I've looked away I've noticed them whispering and gossiping about me in particular I'm not sure about other customers but I've been a target since new employees started working in the store. I'm very aware of it. I've left the store many times the last few months very annoyed upset and uncomfortable. I do shop in this store a lot I always have its very convinent to my location. So I give this store two stars because of the ignorance. If it continues I've decided to step up and take it further and report it to the corporate office of the dollar store. BC personly its not polite to discriminate against costumers or chase them out the doors when they should be trying to bring them in. Very immature behavior. These employees should be aware all walks of human life will be coming in them doors and if they can't deal with it then I think the mature thing would be to reconsider working in the store or any store for that matter.. Its also very rude to spread rumors through out the store involving other employees they have heard about certain customers on the street when there is partial truth or they can't confirm what they are spreading in reality. Which this has been happening and I'm very overly tired of the drama in this store. I feel like it should definitely be more welcoming than it is. So if it continues to happen I will be the first to report it. Its senseless and bunch of gossiping and way to much drama for me they don't know me and what they heard does not define who I am and I will not tollerrate anyone trying to assaninate my character or harass me any longer behind my back when its so obvious come on really.. Enough is enough...

Great deals, store is usually pretty messy and when they're stocking it's hard to maneuver because of small aisles and too much stuff in one space. But great deals. Use the app and get exclusive coupons.

Everything is cheap but the place is a mess. And the employees seem really depressed to work here, although I don't blame them. Morgantown doesn't have mom and pop corner stores for some reason so this is the only alternative within walking distance of South Park. Not great, but it's there, so they'll get my business.

Employees don't wear their masks correctly at this location. Not to mention, some of the customers don't wear them at all. It's unfortunate that I have to avoid this dollar general because it is the closest one to me, but I would rather spend my money where safety protocols and guidance are followed.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient as I work downtown. I'll often buy snacks, candy bars and vitamins. Same quality as elsewhere but a lot cheaper.

I much prefer Dollar General to its sister store Family Dollar Store. The latter is very good, but the dollar store has a wider selection. Unlike Walmart's, the staff are very helpful

It's always unorganized and you got to watch the sale prices bc they never come up on the cash register so you got to make sure they know. The store needs redone in my opinion. Sad

Can barely shop here without someone asking for change before you get into the place, or someone shopping that smells of urine so badly. The employees are wonderful despite the circumstances
