Experienced getting my dog groomed here. Not at all what I asked for or showed a photo of. The groomer just completely ignored my request and shaved him. If I wanted him to be totally shaved down I could have done that myself and saved $100.

They are the absolute best. They did extremely well with my dog who has SEVERE separation anxiety. Shared a photo of the first day there and a photo from a few days later. She is also so great at giving updates while your pet stays 🤗

I am only giving one star because it won't let me give it zero stars. Beware of this place. For the second time now our dog has gone unfed at this place. No phone calls letting us know that this was a problem. Last time there, he did not get fed because the owner was to busy with a birthday party. Do not board your dog(s) here. Heard the worker there yesterday yelling at the dogs in the kennel. There are other places in Morgantown that actually do care about animals.

Came here for years and greatly appreciated their work however they no longer service large dogs. I was contacted by the owner, I thought, letting me know that they work with large dogs again. I just called to make an appointment and they told me they now don't. So strange. Confusing and kind of rude on the phone unfortunately. 😔

Thank you so very much, he looks and smells great! I was very worried and you all must have a way with the fur babies. He went right with you and didn’t bust to get to me!!!! If your dog is skiddish of loud noises I would stay away from this place. They run dirt bikes non stop and it’s very loud and disturbing.

Beware of Rude Workers !!! Lacking experience with animals. Don't be fooled by the shiny new building, this place is not run well. They'd rather talk about how bad all the other kennels are, than learn a thing or two about caring for dogs. My dog stayed for 3 nights and came home smelling like urine and very stressed out, not normal behavior for him. The dogs in daycare were going nuts too while I was there and the one worker just screamed as loud as she could at them. After my experience, I don't trust this place anymore at all. FIND ANOTHER KENNEL!!!

Greg is the best!! I have a senior golden retriever with separation anxiety and a little arthritis. He is gentle and kind and she is always excited to see him. She looks so amazing every time I pick her up and she smells wonderful ( wish I could keep her that way)The grooming area/ kennel is clean, bright and quiet. Not stressful at all like a pet store grooming place. I would definitely recommend Greg and Bakers Farm grooming to anyone!

This place is a Haven for your fur babies....my daughter and son-in-law are on vacation and I take her pups 3 times a week as she does when she's home. They arrive at Baker's Farm, run out of the car, and never look back!! That's a pretty good sign of the care and fun they have!! It's incredibly clean and the staff is wonderful!! Highly recommend!!

We dropped off our two Boxers for a week while on vacation last week. We previously used Cheat Lake Animal Hospital, but they don't do boarding anymore. Well, when we picked them up, they both reeked of urine as well as their dog bed and blankets. In 20+ years of using various Kennels around the country, this was our second worst experience. The only other really bad experience we had was with a backyard kennel we booked in a rush 20 years ago. Since then, we haven't had an issue with any kennel we have used. My wife said she could barely breathe in the car coming home with how bad the smelled of urine. Hence, both of our dogs needed a bath when we got home. I had to throw away their dog bed and the clothes I used to wash them they stunk so bad. It was disgusting. For $800+, I would never let a client's dogs go out the door smelling like that. Further, I cringe to think how our girls were probably sleeping in their own urine all week. :( Needless to say, we will never use this kennel again even though we live in Cheat Lake.

I made an appointment to have my 2 year old male golden groomed here this week. The facility is beautiful and the staff were so friendly. I had Checked prices from other groomers and was prepared to pay $$$ for a bath, trim, and full deshed. But no- their prices were great and the work was amazing! My boy was so happy and spunky when I picked him up. I will definitely be a loyal customer here from now on. Thanks for your great work!

Bakers farm is a great place to board your pup. The staff there is super friendly and helpful. As any owner, I’m very hesitant to leave my dog for a prolonged periods of time but this place gave me so much reassurance. Layne at the front desk was kind and even took time to show me around the facility. Throughout my stay they even sent pictures and updates frequently which calmed my nerves. If you are looking for a place to board look no further because bakers farm is the best in town!!

Nice facility, sent me pictures of my dogs which was awesome. However, one of my dogs takes seizure medication and a dose was missed which is a big deal. Both of my dogs also caught kennel cough from their stay.

My dog was brutally attacked by another dog under Baker’s Farm’s care. He received no medical attention before I picked him up. The owner (Michelle) said that there were no cameras recording when this happened and the workers were in another part of the facility when the attack occurred. I was responsible for all of his vet bills. He required anesthesia for wound washouts of multiple deep bites all over his body and was on antibiotics and pain medications for weeks. My pup was not safe at Baker’s Farm Kennel, take your furbabies elsewhere.

I am highly disappointed in the care my dog received from Bakers Farm Kennel & Grooming. I would encourage anyone utilizing these services to seriously consider whether you can trust the individuals working at this establishment to care for your beloved pets. I recently dropped my dog off for boarding and provided instructions for staff to feed her a can of wet food 2x per day (AM and PM), in addition to the treats I packed for in between meals. When I picked my dog up, the same number of cans were returned to me, making it abundantly clear to me that she had not been fed for the duration of her stay. Upon her return home, my dog appeared to be starving and extremely dehydrated. I called the kennel to express my concerns and inquire about whether my dog had eaten anything during her visit, seeing as all of her food/treats had not been used and were returned to me unopened. The employee on the phone replied that they were “sorry,” then proceeded to claim that “it was probably just a mistake” and “maybe the worker who checked her in forgot to write down feeding instructions.” I cannot believe the level of negligence and general lack of consideration. How do you expect people to overlook or forgive instances where you fail to care for their dog’s basic essential needs?

This was my second time using Bakers Farm to board my dog. Their customer service has been great. They kept me updated with how my dog was doing while I was away and the pictures and videos they sent showed that my dog felt comfortable and right at home. Leaving your dog for a few days is never easy, however my mind was at ease knowing that he was getting cared for and spoiled by friendly staff while I was away. I plan on using them in the future for boarding and even daycare and definitely recommend them to any dog owners in the area!

I’ve taken my lab mix here to be groomed and for boarding when I went on vacation.. I’m always so impressed with the level of love, respect and passion I see from the employees! My dog always comes out looking fantastic and it’s always super easy to get an appointment.As for boarding, they have many options and it’s always stressful for me when I leave my dog but I feel so comfortable and at ease knowing she is there.

My 4 year old yorkipoo has been going here since I came up for school last year. I couldn't ask for a better groomer. His first time there he was very nervous, but now he jumps into the hands of the staff there and it makes my heart smile knowing he is in good hands. They definitely are patient with me as I have had to make changes to his grooming schedule. I wish I could take them with me back home!

I have a goldendoodle (Phoebe), she has such a great time when she stays at Bakers Kennel...I swear she smiles on the way home!The groomer, Stephanie, is the best! She is one of those people that you know absolutely loves animals, they know it too! Phoebe looks great after her grooming!

Agree with Bradley's review below. Not happy with the grooming my labradoodle received here. Basically shaved him completely. No artistry. Set the shaver height and forget. Did not recognize my dog on pick up. He had some matting around his ears and at the base of his tail. But the other groomer we go to can work around this when it occurs. Seem like nice people and went on the recommendation from a friend, but will not be back. I don't think they do an appropriate grooming on labradoodles.

Left our dog at this establishment based on the “positive reviews”. When we got our dog back she was filthy and covered in urine. This place lied to us every step of the way about what was going on with our dog. We didn’t get all of our stuff back and it looked like our dog was never let out of her cage. Do not trust these people with the animal you love. They mistreat and lie.
