We have been camping at Diane’s for years and years!! Diane has the best kept secret in WV. Her campground is gorgeous, relaxing and always in tip top shape. The bathrooms and showers are always clean and sanitized, the shed is always stocked with fire wood. We tent camp with large crowds and a lot of kids. Diane is always so accommodating to make sure we have fun. I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. Meadow Creek is my happy place. We love Diane and Riverchase campground. We are already planning our next trip!-Rhonda Steele & Crew!!

My wife and I spent 5 nights in the Walleye Cabin. We considered camping and opted for the cabin because of concerns about rain - and were glad we did! 2 torrential storms passed through on different nights. The cabin looks to be made from reclaimed barnwood on the inside. It does include a shower, sink and toilet as well as a small fridge/freezer and microwave.Downstairs is a double bed and upstairs are 3 single beds. On the screened-in patio are a set of single bunk beds.There is a small portable AC unit to knock the temperature down a few degrees. Not the same as a full house AC, but enough to make sleeping easier. A large ceiling fan circulates air.If you are tent camping, the tent sites are the largest you'll ever find. Very spacious, close to the river, but not so close you get flooded if it rains hard.

This is a great place to stop and camp. We did a tent site with electricity. Each site has a fire pit, picnic table and electricity (if applicable). We were snuggled right up against the river. There is a train that runs by a few times a day but it only lasts a couple minutes. Restrooms and shower house included.

A really beautiful and relaxing place to camp. The grounds are very well maintained and Diane was extremely nice and made our 4 day visit very enjoyable. The facilities were very clean.We are making Riverchase Campground our go to place.

Mrs Law or Mrs. D as I call her is extremely welcoming her park while small is a santuary for all things peaceful...its nestled between 2 mountain peeks with the Greenbriar River running in between giving this campground beach access !!! She offers 50 and 30 Amp RV sites with plenty of space for a 45ft 5th wheel and parking...each site has a trash can a fire ring and picnic table...she has an overflow in case guests come over...she also offers primitive camping all riverfront luxury spots a few with electric ...Riverchase has a bathhouse male and female shower stalls on opposite sides of one another it also has restroom facilities a covered Pavillion which all guests are welcome to use...it has bench tables electric fans grills etc. Play area for the kiddos and pet friendly. This is a stress reliever, RV sites and primitive camping. Bait and grocery store just minutes away. Store , also, prepares home made meals.Playground: Swing set excellent shape. Covered fort with climbing wall excellent condition. Swing under trees. Place to ride bikes.Restrooms: Woman's restroom clean wheelchair accessible. Men's restroom clean wheelchair accessible. Both good light.Dog-friendliness: Dogs are welcome, as long as they are under control.Picnic area: Clean picnic tables all thru camp ground. Pavilion is big enough for family reunions, weddings, eyc.

I have been meaning to write a review on this campground for a while! This is such a great place to camp! I moved to WV from Chicago a little over a year ago and camped a lot up north, Wisconsin mainly. This is such a relaxing, CLEAN, well-kept campground right on the New River with an amazing view. Diane is the owner, and although we’ve only camped here a handful of times, we are REGULARS for sure! Diane is hardworking-keeps and maintains a great place to camp and relax. Chats with us, and also gave us tips on where to go for food and other places in the area. She also does her best to accommodate you with the exact site you’d like. Absolutely love it here for our weekend get-aways. Highly recommend!!

There is only one Shower for women and one shower for men not very clean or updated. No soap in lady's bathroom all weekend. The lady doesn't know her left from right. She told us wrong campsite. Train runs every hour and a few times thru the night. We loved New River Gorge but don't recommend this camp site at all.

Riverchase Campgrounds is a great place! We've stayed here twice so far and plan to come back frequently. Diane is great and always accommodating. Clean bathrooms and nice large campsites right on the river.

Diane was the absolute best host! She was so thoughtful and kind, checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed and that we were enjoying ourselves! Very responsive to our texts and questions as well! The campground felt very safe and had a wonderful view of the river! It was also easy to find using our gps. The clean bathrooms, dishwashing station, and showers were nice and close by. Diane gave us a nice distance between the other campers, which made us feel secure because of the risk of covid. Good location to hiking trails and beautiful views all around. We will definitely be returning in the future and highly recommend this campground to others!

We felt at home during our stay.Pros:Dog friendlyGorgeous River front location (you can fish and kayak)Verizon has cell service coverageDishwashing station!Clean restroomsSpacious sitesThere are no cons to list. :) We had an amazing stay and hope to return soon.Tip: be sure to stock up on everything before you go. Walmart is 30 mins away and the Citgo nearby is limited.

We were lucky to find Riverchase campground and owner operator Diane- the camp is very quaint and Dianes heartfelt attention for the camp and campers is truly delivered. Our plan is to revisit Diane and her camp along the new river to Kayak. Please if you are in that area get a beautiful spot along the river!

What a great place to unwind! Riverside camp site with electric. Clean restrooms & showers. The hospitality is warm and welcoming. Bring your fishing pole. The best scenic hiking in the National Park within a half hour drive.

Diane went above and beyond to accommodate us! We got in a bit late, gave her a call and she came and picked us up and brought us all the way to the site, showed us how to turn the light off... She was GREAT! We will definitely be back when we have a little more time!!

Amazing river front campground. Great clean showers and bathrooms with hot water. Very family friendly and low key. The cabins are very nice and cozy. Will come back again for a relaxing vacation.

Beautiful campground with wonderful staff, right off the river. With water, septic, 30amp and 50amp hookups for campers. Super affordable as well, overall a great experience.

Was good fishing and a good outside experience except a cabin to sleep cook outside fishing and bathrooms in another building so it's closest to camping as u can get except u dnt sleep outside it's actually pretty fun and cool
