This is the best place in the area to find Carhartt apparel. I was able to find a $70 jacket I had been looking for just $35 here. This is also a pretty good place to find rugs at a decent price. Things can be disorganized, but I think that is more on the customers than it is the staff.

This store is not as great as it use to be when I first went in yrs ago. Now it's a hit or miss of you find anything at all you went to get in the first place. Now the space to walk in each spot for the clothes got even harder. I don't really enjoy going here anymore. The shoes are wayy different now instead of all being together, they are put in each section. It's annoying and barely anything . Idk it's just not worth it to go anymore.

Hello I have visited so many times your store in Martinsburg WV and I love it, but today we had a bad experience with one of your cashiers, I think her name was Rhonda. I had a return for 2 items one was damage and the other one was a swimsuit, she was telling me the swimsuit doesn’t have the hygiene protector and I told her it didn’t have one when I got it and told her you have a lot over there that doesn’t have the hygiene protector. She completed the returning but I was getting other stuff and she was checking like wasn’t correct or I did something to the price tag, honestly I felt like she was trying to treat me like a thief or something she needed to check how many pieces each set was. I’m a member rewards I love everything in Gabe’s but her behavior was not correct rude and unprofessional and my husband and I did not feel comfortable at all.

What a fun and interesting store. I recently went twice with my parents and we found a lot of great items. Winter coats, shirts, socks, Fall coffee cups. There are many choices and they bring in new items very often. The same lady was at the register both times we went. She was super friendly and fun to talk to.

Great store, well organized and clean. We will definitely make the longer drive to come here instead of going back to the Harrisonburg store. It just seems like the employees really care about their jobs.

I stop by there periodically to check out what is new. I found 4 items that I wanted to purchase. Three registers were open. I waited in line for a few minutes. When it was my turn, the cashier says " I am closed." The next cashier closed her register also. Really ??? They couldn't stay open a few more minutes to ring up four items. Not only that, the line was getting longer with one register open. This store has lost my businss.

I went in to find a purse that was big enough to carry my laptop. They had multiple choices and i had a hard time deciding which one to get. I finally found one and the guy at the register was very nice. Overall, great experience today.

Sale is going on now. Some great prices on clothes but sizes are mixed up. My major complaint is not being handicapped-friendly. I just recently had surgery and am not able to walk. In their favor Gabe's did provide electric carts, but to what avail? Most of their aisles are too small to maneuver the cart. Not enough room to turn with the potential of severe accidents occurring. I like to shop and spend but this so frustrated me all I wanted to do was leave.

Lots of clothing at discounted prices. Also has housewares, seasonal decorative items, personal care items, snack items, and candy. Many other miscellaneous items. Large parking lot. Public restrooms.

I've been going to Gabe's since to was little! I love going in there! GREAT prices on nambrand stuff!The pics are a swimsuit, cardigan, and boots that I got!$5.99 for the suit, $4.99 sorry the cardigan, and $11.00 for the boots!

Very good trip was looking for girls jeggins but didn't find any and don't feel they had a good boys shoe selection but could be better if I went earlier in the day possibly morning when they first are open

i got trapped in here for three hours and could not find my way out of this labyrinth of a store. the candles began to whisper vaguely threatening things to me and i felt very unsafe. the bathroom is one of the scariest public bathrooms i have been in. i got a nice jacket tho

Pleasant experience and seems to have cleaned up as of recently. Staffing seems friendly and the ones I have asked questions were quick to answer questions. The only down side is at one or both of the entrances, carts seem to build up and can clog the traffic coming in and out of the store. This would be between the first set of sliding doors and second set of sliding doors going into the store. Otherwise, great place to shop for cheap prices!!!!

Only 2 stars because although the prices were reasonable the short staff at the registers was ridiculous and not to mention there is no self check out so people are waiting in line while you have 3 employees running registers!!! Get your employees in check when you have over 10 people in line you need to have more employees on the registers and less talk time get in and get out that is the best way to do business...

I had not been in this establishment for some time due to not really being able to find much of what I looked for when I went in. This trip was no different.We went in to the front of the store and as usual, the aisles are so packed you can barely get a cart through the store. Within those aisles, there is a very unorganized mess of various clothing that takes up probably 75% of the space in the store as this is the main focus of the business.Some of the clothing is organized with the old style round size markers on top of the racks but only a limited amount. If you go to the clearance area, there is zero organization! Shorts mixed with shirts, long pants etc and nothing arranged by size!The store appears, to me, to not be all that clean!What really left me with an extremely negative outlook towards this store is that the fitting rooms were closed. When your business is so heavily geared toward clothing sales, especially odd lots and clearance type items, it would seem that fitting rooms would be an important thing to have working. It is important to me as I do not want to go home, try them on, then have to run back to the store if they do not fit correctly. That is a waste of my time and I frown heavily when my time is wasted!

I like Gabes. It's always a hit or miss with deals here. The store itself always seems dirty. The cashiers and employees that work here are very friendly and helpful! I have never had a bad experience at this store.

Could there be any nicer manager and employees? I don't think so. The manager & employees in this Martinsburg, WV Gabe's are TOP-NOTCH!! They will go out of their way to help you & with an utmost professional attitude. I have never received better service anywhere. EXCELLENT MANAGEMENT!!!!!Always love going to Gabe's! Always find great bargains in all categories -- and so much selection. A really FUN place to shop. A bargain-hunter's paradise! Love my Gabe's!!
