Love it There services are great all the employees are always friendly and as helpful as they can be. DONE some last minute holiday shopping and found some new products that I haven't seen and you already know fairly priced for the most part.

The entire Walgreen's chain is all about corporate greed. I had to get a prescription filled for a 30 days supply of Cymbalta and they wanted $300+ for the prescription because I didn't have insurance. I went several days without the medicine, which is not good, until I could get it at a smaller, privately owned pharmacy for $6. I switched pharmacies. They have gotten a little faster with their service. A year ago, it took days to get your prescriptions filled. And, the staff was very rude, including the pharmacist that talked to you like you were stupid. I would drop off a prescription and they'd tell me it wouldn't be ready until the next day or the day after. I only use this pharmacy now if I have been to the ER and have something I need filled either on the weekends or after hours at my pharmacy. Service is a million times better today than a year ago. They are well staffed and staff members are friendly and courteous. This pharmacy is 10 minutes away from my home but, I choose to use Genoa Pharmacy in Maxwelton, WV 45 minutes from my home because they have way better service. A year ago, I would have rated them a 1 and would have had a lot of complaints. My only complaint now is their pricing for medicine not covered by insurance. They wanted $80 for Augmentin that I got from Genoa Pharmacy for $25. All in all, they have improved tremendously.

I have a prescription and it was called in 2 days ago. Came to pick it up today and they said it will be “ 3 hours”. I have been without my blood thinners for almost a month cause they lost my prescription for it and finally got another prescription faxed in and this is how I get treated. I am in contact with my lawyer and if I end up with another blood clot or dead, you will be sued. And I am not messing around no more. You shouldn’t have bought out Pocahontas pharmacy cause you all hired a very unprofessional people who talk about the clients that just let like dogs. You all couldn’t even handle the clients you had before the buy out.

Can you say “CORPORATE GREED “??? This store has a monopoly in a economically depressed area that is an hour away from other pharmacies. Their drug prices are very high (300$ for a tiny bottle of eye drops-that’s with insurance!), they are often understaffed and I would guess that staff is probably underpaid and overworked. All I can say is BOYCOTT THIS PHARMACY!PS-they also hate to see you come in with a GOOD RX coupon and often will not accept them.

Wish I could give no star review, the previous pharmacy we used sold out to Walgreens in marlinton wv just to sum it go else where, I waited on the phone for over an hour on Friday to call in prescription after I through to talk to someone she told me I could pick up the prescriptions on Saturday I went Saturday to pick them up they were closed no pharmacist, go on Sunday they are closed no pharmacist my son had to have his medicine to function I will be taking my business elsewhere on Monday

5-28-2021 - Nothing special here just a typical Walgreens. It was clean and there was people wearing masks as they are required to as well.
