Was in town visiting family...stopped at DQ which I usually do when in I am in town.The ice cream was horrible, the ice cream was full of air and had the consistency of cheap whipped cream. Dairy Queen's reputation was established ontheir excellent thick, rich and creamy ice cream now they serve a cheap imitation of a good soft serve ice cream along with mediocre food. Another American institution is scraping the bottom of the barrel... not realizingthat quality and consistency is the foundation of a good and reputable business.I would not recommend this establishment to anyone.I can no longer do business there because I cannot be sure what I will receive when I place an order.No reason to reply with the same canned response you have given to the otherposts I have read.This DQ restaurant was located in Marlinton, WV.I would like a refund for themedium strawberry sundae...I can live with the double cheese burger.Whatever the outcome I will not be doing business at DQ until they get right...that is my opinion.

Was just there and getting ice cream for my mom. I decided to get food because my sister and I hadn’t ate. This was a to go order and we were waiting in line. Service was polite and the food was ok, not any fault of the employees it’s just DQ food that could definitely be better but we needed something to eat.One thing I would suggest however, if you’re customer is ordering both food and ice cream, ask them if they want the ice cream and if not, wait until the food comes out before starting to serve ice cream. By the time we got our food order the ice cream was already melting.Another small pet peeve of mine personally is the girl taking our order had makeup smeared all over her face. It was supposed to be some kind of butterfly wings or lightening but it was smeared and even if it wasn’t, it still looks very unprofessional. I do understand the kids expressing themselves but it was just too much and if it were my business, I would not allow it.

This place is to high on prices. A small drink is 2.39. I can go buy a regular bottle of soda for that. Ordered hash browns they did even put it down on my order. The staff doesn't even pay attention to what you are saying. I will never go back their again. I did not want to give them a star at all.

Since they are the only fast food location in town they do not have much in the way of manners or even just greeting someone. Most of us really wish there was another option.Food is usually if your lucky the right order. My father in law order a few burgers, fries, chicken etc. through drive thru and asked the window worker if in the one bag he was handed if that was all and they said yes. He asked twice to make sure and was told yes again. Went home and HALF the order was missing so he called and told them, drove back to get the missing half and they didn't even apologize.There have been several times while you wait for your food that some of the workers are cussing and being inappropriate NOT a family atmosphere.Very rarely do we have a good experience there.

In town for the Triathlon, Wanted a couple of Blizzards. No one in line, 1 car in drive thru. 3-5 minutes before we were acknowledged. After taking our order and waiting 20 minutes, I stood back at the counter only to be asked if I had my order taken. "Oh, we are out of that particular flavor, what else would you like? Then made our Blizzards.

Someone should teach this store how customer service works. One employee at the drive thru yesterday wanted to give me the death stare and went "mute" not saying anything during the entire transaction after handing her my card and she gave me the food... Its like she thought I was going to do something with the way she was looking.... I guess making customers feel uncomfortable is the standard in this town.Also, I said large, not a small combo. I know it's hard and confusing though.

Good food, like everything else the prices keep going up, service is usually pretty slow (food is made when you order it) so I don't mind the wait, & drive through is the only option.Right before the COVID-19 pandemic they had the inside closed for remodeling, it hasn't been open since. What's the hold up?Typically costs us around $30 for two meals with drinks and a dessert.

I wish I could give no stars. Over charged and didn't even get what I ordered. I ordered 4 hot dogs. I was told everything was chili, slaw, onions, mustard and ketchup. I ordered 4 everything no onion. Well my hotdogs also had cheese on them. And I was charged 3.39 plus .29 (for the slaw) for each hot dog even though chili dogs are on the 2 for $5 menu. Then we ordered 2 mocha moolattes. They had Carmel in them. 🤢🤮 They were gross and disgusting. You really need to go literaly ANYWHERE else if you want good food. Also you can't go inside so when you have an issue you have to get back in the drive thru line to complain or get your order corrected. Seriously just go somewhere else.

At this DQ you will find a limited menu and unless you go early in the morning a rather rude staff that finds it hard to unglue their phones from their hands and actually make sure your customer service experience is a positive one. The food is good and average price. They are still not offering dine in.

5-26-2021 - I went here today and its only drive through. Inside is shut down. Why I ask because everything else in this area is open and even in nearby areas.5-12-2020 - the food here and deserts are good but the prices are high for what you get. The ice cream cake are outrageous on pricing here.

The floor is always dirty, always empty on straws, lids or napkins (yet there are always 4 people out at the registers most are on their phone or chatting). 25% of The associates they have are nice the rest are not, rude and just flop your food/drink down on the counter and don't even say a word to you. Food is sloppy and most of the time your order is not correct (unfortunately it has been this way for about 20 years). This is the only fastfood place in town, so there is no competition to force them to actually perform up to good standards. They dont Represent Marlinton very Well!

We have eat at the Dairy Queen in Marlinton , WV . It is a nice place to eat , the food is always hot and great and the cool treats are cool . The owners are well known and employ lots of the local high school students and donate to the community . Good place to eat , highly recommended.

This is the slowest fast food place that I have ever been to!! Even if you are the only vehicle in the drive-thru, it's still an unbelievable amount of time to get your order.

Love Marlinton and all the people are friendly, staff and people a like. I think you can really understand people there more because of how friendly everyone is and you can see everyone talking and being nice and it's just a great place to go, my grandparents loved eating there when going into town and I love it too.

MOLD on the hot dog roll, how is this missed. Lol. Along with a moldy roll they didn’t put any of the 3 sauces in the bag, no fork or dressing for the salad. Order placed at 9pm on 1/1/2022.

DQ needs to get it together. This is the only place I know of that charges an additional tax for using there drive thur. They take forever to get the order out to you and there's always something wrong with it and its never what you ordered.
