We had a blow out on our truck on I 79 with a 40' camper in tow. We were able to drive the 2 miles to DC General Store. We can't thank Denny and the other gentleman that helped us put on our spare tire! Truly Good Samaritans!!!!

Very nice and pleasant workers at this store. And they have all kinds of stuff that you wouldn't even think about. Their prices are actually pretty affordable especially when considering the location, they definitely don't try to "price gouge" and they have some delicious food too...

For one, it's been here for over 40 years and it's friendly and clean. Great food at SubExpress. I have seen some nasty comments about this store all of which are false. It may be a little pricey on some things, but ask yourself this, would you rather drive to walmart? I wouldn't. The store is not dirty and the food is fresh. The registers are fine and there are card machines. The subs are better then a certain other sub place. People like to slander this store's name and know nothing about it. Also, there are hot dogs, pizza, and a deli. There is no longer soft serve icecream though.

Not the best place but at least its a store if u don't have a way around while living in that area. They are a lil priceys & a few staff members are down there either..!! So it would be nice if I got paid or I woyks be there soon as u can please thanks...!!!!!

I’m not going to lie, place looks a little scary from the outside. However, once you get past the Hills have Eye’s feeling, the staff are friendly and their food is pretty good.

I love this place, it's so much like my hometown use to be. I stopped there got a coffee and sat out back with the locals for about an hour. Great time.
