We went to visit Gauley river pottery 6/23/23, what a friendly, nice pottery store.After being held up at the door by the loud vicious guard dog, to find out he was just excited there was someone new to play with. Upon entering, we seen the workshop where the pottery is made and all the goods for sale. The gentleman owner, I don't believe we ever got his name, was friendly, extremely talkative and informative on many topics. While shopping "Loki" the playful guard dog brought us his toy and wanted to play the entire time. Well, we did did,as we shopped. He is so darn cute!We ended up buying a few items of quality pottery that is made there, and we definitely made a friend with the owner,and a playmate with Loki. Please stop by and say hi, make some new friends and the quality pottery is beautifully made! Oh, and by the way, Loki is a tiny ankle high dog that will win your heart !!

What an amazing pottery store/gallery. One of the owners was in the workshop as we were shopping around. She was actively making new product and engaged us in conversation at the same time.
