It was immediately obvious to us that they were raised with love, care and affection in a family setting. Linda has stayed in touch with us and answers any questions that we may have. I had a very good experience with WV Hilltop Puppies. Linda was very professional throughout the process and very easy to work with. We got the sweetest little Cairn Terrier pup! Her temperament is wonderful! She was clearly raised well before coming to live with us. We are so happy with her- I definitely recommend this breeder if you are looking for a puppy!

Got our little boy Cooper from WV Hilltop Puppies a Carin terrier 2 months ago and couldn’t be happier he’s had 4 vet visits and is completely healthy and such a joy to have him as a part of our family. Would definitely recommend them !

I wish I could rate this 0 stars. This is a puppy mill and I’m begging for everyone to please not support this business. I received a puppy from here as a gift a few years back and now he has developed horrible health problems. His legs have become deformed and now he can’t stand, walk, or even hold his bladder. Vet said it’s definitely because he is from a puppy mill and he needs to be put down. Please go to your local shelter and adopt! There are so many animals there who need homes and for so much cheaper. This practice is horrible.

Me and my wife bought our little bundle of joy, Mikey (Cairn Terrier), from this place in W. Virginia in 2021. He is the most precious, fun, loving and loyal dog that we have ever had. The breeder did a wonderful job and was really good with communication, but most importantly, she made sure that he would be placed in a good home and that she can trust us more than anything. There was a review process that we had to partake in before she allowed us to buy him and pick him up, which we drove 4 hours to do so. We would love to buy another one from her in the future. AND THIS IS NOT A PUPPY MILL FOR THOSE WONDERING.

My wife and I have three of the most adorable poms that we purchased from Linda Leighton Clark and her husband. They are such wonderful caring breeders and people as well. We have never had such a great experience in the purchase of our three fur babies from any other breeder. We will never go anywhere but there to get our dogs. We bought three all at different times and have never ever had any problems what so ever. Great people to deal with. They care about their dogs and will not sell to just anyone. They place their dogs in good loving homes. You will never regret getting your fur babies from these people. They are top notch and if we ever have a need for another dog we'll buy from them again without a doubt.

We went and picked up our Theo from WVhilltoppuppies. The owner was super about responding with all our answers and was helpful with all the information regarding her pups! She is selective as to who should get her pups AS SHE SHOULD be! She followed up with us as to how he was adjusting and he was 8-9 weeks old. My vet said that he was in perfect health and got great report! I would highly recommend this breeder but know she is not going to just sell to anyone!! Thank you Linda for our sweet baby boy!!

I purchased a Pom puppy from WV Hilltop Puppies and drove 7 hours away to get her. My vet said that my Pom was the gold standard of great breeding and excellent care. The application process may be more involved versus other ways to get a puppy. The breeders make sure that you are a good match for their dogs and make sure they are going to a good home. I had such a good experience that a year later, I took my parents down to this Breeder to get a Pom. Also, happy and healthy. Your puppy even comes home with a farewell kit full of toys and a blanket from the momma. All this helps with separation anxiety, etc. I highly recommend this Breeder!

WV Hilltop Puppies is a responsible breeder. They care about the puppies and are cautious in placing them. We got our first Scottie from them 5 years ago and our second one 2 years later. The breeder made sure we had experience with Scotties before agreeing to let us have one, as they have distinct personalities and can be somewhat strong willed. This breeder will not place dogs in households with small children that might inadvertently harm a pup. Both of our dogs have wonderful dispositions. We are very happy we found this breeder.

I got my beautiful sweet healthy pre-spoiled Pom girl from this Breeder 2 years ago. The owner took time to know me before she would sell to me. I appreciated that knowing the pups were loved and not some puppy mill. Definitely worth the 4 hour there and 4 hour back home drive. Love my healthy happy girl.

From the moment I reached out to WV Hilltop Puppies in search of a puppy for my Mom, I knew they were heaven sent. I thank God everyday for directing me to them. I got "OUR Precious", a white/cream pomeranian from them. She will be 3yrs old on the 28th of this month and she is a HEALTHY, happy, energetic, smart, playful, loveable, lovely little girl and the best thing that has happened in our family for many years. From the first email to present day, they have been knowledgeable, always available, and a all out pleasure to know.They are strict who they allow to have their babies. One of the reasons I knew I wanted ours from them. Most people don't care about that as long as you have money and that is far from the case with WV Hilltop Puppies. They ask a lot of questions, but by the end of the overall experience they become friends. Your puppy is loved from birth, given attention everyday and the happiest little things I have ever seen. They smile!!! Seriously, they are so loved these puppies smile! That's the truth! Linda and Greg genuinely care about the homes for their babies and the people who will love them. I enjoyed all my conversations with them and still do.First of all, they ask who the Vet will be for your puppy, and they EXPECT you to take them to that Vet, in fact you sign stating you will and never once did they ever say anything remotely to the opposite. So for the reviews saying otherwise, please know it is definitely a lie!!!! Be ready to have that information available to give them. If you don't have a Vet don't be surprised you don't get a Puppy!Second of all, they come with a huge pamphlet/folder explaining in details information pertaining to your puppy. From the breed, to recommendations to transition your puppy to your home healthy and safe, to recommendations for food even. The most informative packet I have ever received. They get a little gift bag full of treats, outfits, and a little blanket for a baby. Because of their knowledge and following their recommendations about Parvo and how to protect our puppy until full immunization, our Precious did not get it! What I learned from them saved our Puppy and I pass that information forward every chance I get.For the review talking about seizures, if you have ever had to deal with a Puppy/dog that has them, there is no specific reason they get them. It can be from environment, to dog food, to reactions to immunizations, to the breed, to even old age but any Vet will personally tell you that. I can honestly say our Precious is in perfect health and that is proven to be true by our Vet and records. So that review is a lie, unfair and a unfounded accusation.Would I recommend WV Hilltop Puppies.... ABSOLUTELY WITHOUT A DOUBT 100,000,000 times over and then some and I will never go any where else. If you don't receive a puppy from them then perhaps you should be doing some self check.Thank you from the bottom of my heart for our "Precious". That baby has brought more love and happiness to us then we ever expected and especially during the worst time of my life losing my Mom. She is definitely our BABY!!!

I lost our dear Sassy girl after having been with us for 16 years. My heart was broken and I wanted another little one under my feet and in my lap. I searched high and low for a new baby and talked to many a breeder and then found Linda. She was sooo helpful and answered all my emails and understood my grief and loss. She raises quality, healthy wonderful fur balls for people to love and welcome into their homes. She is totally honest and forth coming with the types of personality and traits the babies display. She wanted to know what type of baby I was looking for and she matched us to our new baby Lilly :) I totally trust and recommend her and her babies to any and all people if you are looking for a reputable and trustworthy person to get your addition to your family from.

I got my Cairn Terrier there just over a year ago. Linda is VERY selective of who she allows to get a puppy. I see some were bothered by that but I was very encouraged about it. She made sure my choice was the right breed for me and my lifestyle.

I got a pomeranian from her he is almost 2 years old. It was a good experience. I got him at 8 weeks old. She was very helpful through the whole process. Would definitely recommend.

Puppy mill = Dog breeders focus on quantity not quality; their goal is to breed as many puppies as possible for the most amount of revenue.I purchased a Pomeranian from this so called breeder, which started getting seizures and have have spent well over $7,000 in medical costs all resulting from birth (Interns report; After reviewing our pom’s special stains, biopsies and her case in general the pathologist agrees that it is atypical but ultimately, said our pom’s case does fit best with congenital (developed at birth) microvascular dysplasia where microscopic vessels within the liver are underdeveloped or absent. A full report can be provided if needed.I have read many comments from other customers on their Facebook posts that have similar health problems but I don’t believe they have spent as much money as we have to figure out the cause.I don’t trust this place and I would never recommend it to anybody.
