Visited the shelter on Saturday and found my new best friend! Everyone on the staff was very welcoming, and helpful! Adoption process was easy and fairly priced including vetting and neutering. I would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a new buddy.

I adopted Dori first part of the year and she isso sweet and lost`s of copany. The staff was all very kind and allowed me to come in and vist with Dori until time for me to pick her up. I thank them very much for letting me know when a small dog came in. She is very special

The staff was very kind, helpful with the search for a dog for a relative. The facility was clean and can tell animals are well cared for. Definitely would recommend people to check it out to look for a pet.

I went to the Preston County Animal Shelter to get an application to for free spay/neuter for a stray cat I have been caring for. I used to volunteer at the PCAS many years ago when the facility was just getting started. The day I went back to the animal shelter for the application I was sooo impressed with how the Preston County Animal Shelter has IMPROVED !!! The facility looks professional, clean, the animals at the shelter were being very well cared for because their cages were protected from the weather. The staff I spoke to sounded professional, friendly and caring.Now I can honestly say the Preston County Animal Shelter looks HIGH CLASS and something Preston County and the city of Kingwood can really be proud of.

I really loved how the animals are treated and how you guys fix all the animals before being bought and how the cats can rome in a big pin with cat trees and toys but i was wondering if u can put up a picture of Draco the 4 mounth old kitten u guys have.

They don’t know how to answer phone we have cat outside that’s been pregnant still is I am disappointed that she will have them she is an outside cat it’s her second litter please come get her

Their website said they close at 4 p.m. and also their sign on the gate says 4 p.m. I drove an hour away and they were closed with the gate shut and locked
