Literally needed a bag off ice and couldn’t get it at self check out. 3 employees were outside smoking while 10 plus people were in the store like get better employees! What we need to get, we can’t get at the self check out!!!!!

This DG is not bad. Staff is horrible n have no personality. They act like u are interrupting them when needing their help or ready to cash out. Now that theres the self check out, they don't want to be bothered by u. It is still dirty even though it looks like they tried to do an overhaul.

This store in Middleway is the worst, most unorganized store, Dollar General or otherwise that I've ever shopped at. There is CONSTANTLY stocking pallets in most aisles, packed with product, while the shelves need stocked. It's hard to shop and maneuver a cart around because of all the pallets in the aisles. It could be a real problem for disabled people and perhaps even a fire hazard. There's no way someone in a wheelchair could go thru that store, because of all the pallets with product just randomly setting around, blocking the way. And it's not a sometimes problem, it's a CONSTANT issue. BUT, I will continue to shop here though, because of the convenience. I am very careful when I'm there so I don't trip or fall over those pallets that are everywhere.I hate myself for shopping at this sh-thole but, it's convenient. I pray no customer gets injured because of the utter disarray of the store.

it's a general store, but I can say some of the help there are very kind and friendly. Though the store is so busy that it is hard to keep the shelves stocked,I still seem to find what I need.

I frequent this store 5 or more times a week. There is usually a line with only one person on register. Many times I've seen this, some of the staff will be outside talking or smoking, or stocking shelves. Several times I've been there to find them sold out of everything I was looking for. That happens about once every other week. On a positive note, the store is usually clean and the staff is very friendly and welcoming, also quick to help when they're not busy.

Rude employees or manager. They leave expired product on the self for customers even when notified. Seem to be inconvenienced by dealing with customers. Store is always a mess. Nothing like the pictures on here. Unstocked product everywhere. Absolutely ridiculous. Will never return to this DG.

Was at Store on Black Friday.. Can not get down the aisles for boxes and items every where . Hard to shop.. Only two cashiers and they kept screaming at each other. Got two toys that were on sale and cashier could not ring up for 75 % off deal. Told them to keep toys. Left Store went to other Store at Inwood to get toys..Store needs to be better organized and clean. Staff needs to stop smoking in front of Store. Manager needs to help staff when lines are backed up and use better tone with customers and staff..Owner needs to reorganize store and get a new manager.Store is not handicap accessible due to boxes everywhere...

The Dollar General in Capon Bridge West Virginia is my go to place for the things that I need around the house. From food to detergent. My dad has Alzheimer's and this is the only place I can get to, to get what I need in a short time and get back to dad. All the employees are great. Always greet you when you walk in the store. If there is something you need and the are out of it they will tell you the delivery date and if necessary will call you to let you know it's there for you. Have never had a bad experience or a nasty employee! Thanks to all for your help along with a Hi how are you? Is there anything I can help you with? One fantastic place to shop. :)

Large store and bigger than many. Great for emergency or quick needs. Brand choices can be limited. I find their everyday prices as high or higher than other department and grocery stores for items of lower quality. This is one of my favorite Dollar Generals to shop at. It's usually busy, so others must think so too.

Small place kind of dark but it's a good stop in between Charles Town and Inwood. Especially if you need a quick stop for the necessities, food included I was surprised to see! Good bread-n-milk stop for sure, quickie weekend needs and the basic pet food needs. Neat little surprise sales too.

I love the Dollar General on Route 11 by the Coppet Still. This is a large store compared to the others I've been to. This one has books for three dollars if you live to read. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. For smokers, cigarettes are cheaper.

this dallar store in middleway is the worse dallar store in the whole state of west virgina, i will need to think twice about ever going to this store again , every thing is on carts, carts sitting everwhere with things on them, how can you buy thing you need if there no price on them and put on the shekf

this location always has a line with usually only one cashier. Although I love the convenience of having a store here I find it tough to deal with the long lines and skinny isles. Also, they need to clear off the counters before each transaction. I just paid for allergy medicine and candy that was left on the counter and the cashier thought it was mine. I threw my receipt away outside the door by habbit but did call to advise them this is happening. I realized when I got home that I paid $23 for m&ms, car air fresheners and soda. It didn't add up! Then I looked in the bag. When I called I was met with a clear tone of unappolgic apathy from the woman that answered the phone. So...buyer beware and keep your receipt!

I would have given a 5star, but often employees are not wearing masks and they don't enforce those entering to wear one either. It is convenient for dropping off FedEx packages.

Boxes and skids are always crowding the aisles and never well stocked! Only one register open at a time when that place is crazy busy. One manager in a gray mazda always parts right in front of the store which is annoying. Customer's come first!

Went to Dollar general kernneysville wv went to get the Pepsi special four for ten it was in tray I was told I couldn't take tray I've done it at food Lion and wall Mart and return them next visit she said where not them so told her to void my order of soda and food and I went to food Lion
