Ive had critical medications following surgery for pain and nausea that they said they couldn’t fill until the next day due to being short staffed. Had to go through the night without either one. Trying now to contact the pharmacy regarding a prescription that they say they are waiting on the physician for more information. The information is on file with Caremark. Have tried to call twice and waited 30 + minutes each time. Finally gave up and had to drive there. Terrible operation! The outside of the store has more trash and other debris than you would see in a third world country!!!

I would have been happy to give 5 stars if the drive-thru had been open. I have been to this locations MANY times in the last few days (for myself and family members.) This being said the employees have been friendly and helpful. In particular the on duty pharmacist (sorry, I don't know his name) and Tammy. But DEFINITELY a BIG shout out for the new pharmacy technician in training - Casey! She is absolutely matchless. Cheerful, steady, calm, caring, helpful and moves her line along at a steady pace. I'm glad she's here and look forward to seeing her smiling countenance in the future. Sure hope she doesn't get "over worked and burnt out" any time soon :)

I wish I could give 0 stars. This place is the worst pharmacy in the World. All the staff need to be replaced by people who really care.My daughter has a respiratory problem ER sent a prescription to this place. I was told they are out of supply and will get it in two days. So I was really to wait since that was New Year's Eve. When I called on the day it was supposed to be ready, the robot said it will be ready at six pm. When I went, it was not ready. This morning I've been calling nobody answered until I hung up after over one hour.I'm gonna have to go to ER again with my daughter and change this pharmacy. If something happens to my unique child, it's gonna be on this unreliable place.

CVS at the Commons in Martinsburg is convenient and a short distance from home. The pharmacy technicians and pharmacist are friendly and helpful. I have no issues filling my prescriptions.

We have been using this pharmacy for about 8 years. I'm not sure what has changed but have had to pick up meds several times over the last couple of months. The drive thru has not been open on any of the occasions. I finally asked if they would be reopening it and was told it was only closed if someone calls in and they are short staffed. They must have a turnover issue if this is the norm. On top of this on three occasions we went in to pick up meds after receiving the text that said the prescriptions was awaiting pickup only to be told it wasn't ready and that we would have to wait in another line to discuss it. I have one script that says ready for pickup today. If I can't use the drive through we are moving to another pharmacy, sorry to the nice people that are stuck in that situation.

The pharmacy drive-thru is constantly closed. Today I tested positive for flu A. i went to pick up my prescription the doctor called in and the entire pharmacy is closed.

This pharmacy is a joke. They normally do not have the drive thru open and some days aren't even open to pick up medication inside. I waited in line for 10 mintues (it was only so short as 3 out of the 4 people in front of me wasnt able to pick up their medications as they were not ready) only to be told that the medication I've been waiting for days wouldn't be ready until at least tomorrow. I’ve also been told that the automated system is not accurate, to call and speak with a tech but later told don’t bother calling as no one will answer. The later was proven correct as the pharmacy had 5 calls holding today that no one answered during the time I stood in line.

Love this cvs location. Very friendly staff. Usually not a long wait in pharmacy inside. Drive thru pharmacy usually goes quickly even if there is a line.

Drive through has been closed for months. Sign says closed for lunch 1:30 - 2:00... its never open regardless of time. Then you go in to stand in a line for 20 minutes. I'm switching my pharmacy and taking my business else where.

If you value your time, stay clear of this place. I received a text saying my refills were ready. Two days later, I arrive to pick them up and was told they were not ready. This was after I waited in line for 30 minutes. The toothless pharmacy staff also likes to yell at customers. I’m certain they have toothbrushes and toothpaste there.

I called at 4 PM on a weekday to check on a prescription that was sent in by my Dr and they are closed? On a normal weekday? The recording said they would be open tonight from 8 pm to 9 pm. What kind of hours do they keep? These certainly aren't normal hours.

I hate when I have to get meds filled here. It is certainly more convenient and I typically only use them when the Retail Commons Parkway location is either unable to fill it or I know I'm going to be later than that location is open. SLOW SLOW SLOW I don't understand if its a low staffing situation or if they're just that overwhelmed with customers but it is always a horrifically long wait.

I have nothing good to say about this pharmacy. Prices, customer service, and conveniency are just a few reasons I would recommend literally anywhere else besides here. Martinsburg Pharmacy has been much better.

Why does it take 7 days to get an eligible prescription filled? I abosultely hate dealing with this pharmacy. If you try to speak with someone in the pharmacy, you'll be on hold for at least 30 minutes.

If I could give this place negative 100 stars I would. I waited 10 hours today for prescriptions, was told it would be ready at 6pm. Show up at 6:45, told 30 more minutes. This cvs is a disgrace and the management should be fired. I will never be back.

I placed a photo order for 2 posters last week and received a call saying their printer was down and nothing could be printed until Tuesday. That did not bother me as I did not need the posters right away. This morning, I received a call from a CVS in Milwaukee, Wisconsin saying my ordered had been transferred there and that they were ready for pickup. I called Inwood CVS and they put me on hold for 25 minutes just to tell me they cannot find my original order and how it might have been transferred. Martinsburg CVS also has a terrible photo order service so I’ll try Charlestown next I guess.

If I could give zero stars I would. I had a terribly sick child his doctor sent over a STAT Rx to be filled quickly last night. I stood in the pharmacy for over an hour waiting for it to be filled. Only to find out it wouldn't be filled before they close. This is a STAT order maybe they should be informed of what that means. I came back first thing in the morning and then again at 10:50am to be told it would be another 30 minutes. CVS should be embarrassed and ashamed of this location. This has not been my first poor experience at this location, but it will definitely be my last. I would rather spend the time driving to Martinsburg.

This place never gets prescriptions done in a timely manner. I am seriously sick and need my medication so I can better. I waited all day to get my script so they would have plenty of time. I recieved a call 30 mins after they got my prescriptions telling me they were ready for pickup. 7 hrs later I go to get them only to be told they were not ready and I would have to wait another 30 mins. No wonder people are spreading their germs everywhere, cvs can't get anyone the medicine they need to get better. This is not the first time this has happened either. I will be looking for another pharmacy

The store was in total disarray as it was being rearranged and updated. Couldn't find a shopping basket anywhere as workers had them all. Cynthia offered me her actual work station on wheels so I could have something 2 lean on while shopping. She is amazing. Never loose this employee. She has been an excellent store resource as well as a good friend after all the years I've shopped there. I have systemic lupus and just had both knees replaced and Cynthia totally gets it about having something 2 lean on 4 steadying and safety while shopping. Another young lady was hugely helpful in helping me find rearranged items, but didn't get her name. She smiled thru the whole experience! Really made my shopping experience excellent!

On this day I called 8 times was on hold anywhere from 13 minutes before I hung up to 43 minutes before I hung up when someone finally answered they said hello and before I could ask a question she hung up there is no since in this none at all!!!!! AGAIN I called 3x 48 mins, 43 mins and 36 minutes and no one answered

Have been going to CVS Pharmacy since their opening. I realize they are struggling to get reliable help but there has been NO communication from them to their customers. The app says that medicine is IN PROCESS for several days so when you try to pick it up they say we"we can have it ready in 20 minutes". Then you have to get back into the 45 min. to an hour long line to pick up your meds.Update:45 minutes after CVS closed @ 6:00 I received a message that the medicine was ready. The medicine needed was time sensitive and was desperately needed. When I told them this at the window they said they couldn't help me and I would need to return tomorrow. So infuriating to see that they could not help but filled it in 45 minutes upon me leaving.Guess it's time for a change😞

I am really tired of this place. The pharmacy is the worst. I had my mom to go get my medicine everytime. The last time she went and got it my mom had to call me and the women says to me that I have to call a head of time, that would be fine and all but I told the women you guys never answer so why even bother. She replied I know I'm sorry we are short staffed. My mom gets home to tell me there was 6 employees there. I don't know who is the manager there but they really need to get it together. There is people that need there medicine or need to know information about there medicine and no one answer. I just called And It says your call can't be answered and hangs up .This will be the last time I get any medicine from them again!!! It's very disrespectful!

Slow service, long wait times, pharmacy staff not friendly or helpful. Needed medicine for my daughter pick it up and get home to realize I wasn't given the full amount. Call to ask why and was told insurance only covered a certain amount. Ok but no one told me this when I picked it up. I could have paid for it while there. Now my daughter doesn't have the medicine needed and cvs isn't being helpful about it. Inform your clients about what's going on. Absolutely ridiculous!!!

They do not fill prescriptions without being told over and over. I can submit a medication to be refilled in the morning only to check that evening to see if it is ready and find it has been kicked out and needs to be resubmitted yet again.Their app is a joke and they do NOT answer their phone, so good luck not wasting days trying to get your prescription filled when you need it if you aren't able to drive over and wait in line to tell them to please do their job and fill the prescription they were sent, then come back whenever they decide to do it.I've put up with this place for far too long and it only gets worse. Going elsewhere.

They are great. Sometimes they are a little overwhelmed, but they still seem to take care of everyone. It's not that hard to give them six hours or pick it up the next day. Some of you folks need to plan things out better. I used to go to Walgreens across the street and their service at the pharmacy and customer service upfront was horrible. I had used Walgreens Pharmacy for more than forty years and will never go back. Keep up the good work CVS.Thank you

I have had a poor experience twice now, at CVS front store and pharmacy. 1. Online it says that walk-in flu vaccines are accommodated. However, i went in (with my 2 very young kids) and they turned us away and told me to schedule an appointment. It was very inconvenient and inconsiderate. 2. I tried to do UPS drop off with a large package, and they turned me away. I went to auto zone and they said that CVS does that often. The Walgreens has terrible hours and the CVS has bad service.. so take your pick.

This place is a joke! I went to pick up my script today and the lady at the desk says “are you awake how much this is?” I said I have insurance and she tells me my insurance rejected it. So I call my insurance and they say that they haven’t received anything that they could even reject lol so I go back in. I stand at the counter for 15 mins and no one comes. So I get in the next line and still no one. Come to find out that she never even checked if my insurance was updated in their system. So needless to say I almost paid $106.08 because this woman did not want to do her job. The staff here are not helpful whatsoever. You have customers asking other customers where things are because there is no one in the store that is willing to help. Definitely will be switching pharmacies!
