We attended a homeschool field trip at Zoology Zone. It was a great experience! The staff members were wonderful, and we had so much fun. The owner was very knowledgeable, and he taught us so much about science in a couple hours. The zone had many hands on activities for small children, and my older son enjoyed the hurricane simulator. My kids loved the experiments and all the reptiles.

It should go without saying that if you have hours posted in which you are supposed to be open, then you should be open during those hours. I showed up at 3:05. They started their music while I was unloading my kids. We got up to the door and it was locked. A full-blown tantrum meltdown later and I'm waiting in the car to see if they unlock the doors and watch another family go up and try the doors and then leave. I would have loved to have checked this place out, but apparently they don't care enough about their business to open their doors when they're supposed to be open.An hour and a half drive there and back for nothing. Super frustrating. Was hoping this could be a spot for one of my two little kids birthdays but not at this rate.After waiting 40 minutes I thought hey, maybe I should check their Facebook. They did post on Facebook that they would be closed this weekend. Not everyone uses Facebook though. Some people check websites. The first thing I saw pop up on their website was their winter hours. No mention of them being closed this weekend. I let the other family waiting know what I found out and we are leaving. I'm not sure if I'm going to give this place a second chance or not

We love this place and all of the staff. It's a great experience for everyone. As much fun as educational. The memberships and party shows are well worth the price. Can't wait to see their progress on future planned expansions.

Amazing, knowledgeable, caring staff. They rescue animals and rehab them as ambassadors to teach with. I can't wait to see what exhibits grow in the next years, I'll gladly return there and update this with photos!
