Pick up of trash has been excellent lately. One issue I have with WM is it provides no guidance on what can and what should not be in the trash. I am an environmental engineer familiar with solid waste disposal and know that some things should not go in regular landfills. But does the general Public know? Why does WM not provide regular reminders of materials that should not go in the landfill in my area?

Horrible service. If they don't pick up they still bill you and tell you we will get it the next week. Basically they bill for services not rendered as I took my trash to the dump myself since they didn't pickup yet we will still billed.

Never really have any Issues!Mark is my Driver and we Talk a lot!You didn't get a 5 star because when I needed a replacement container I got one Almost as bad as the one replaced!

WM as a overall company does a good job. Individual routes have day to day issues that should be handled locally unfortunately I’ve had to call main office to get them resolved several times. I am handicapped and have certain limitations that weren’t communicated to new drivers that caused some issues and confusion. But they were resolved quickly after a phone call was made. Overall a good company at a fair price with hard working employees.

I’ve never really had and issue except for the fuel surcharge in 2008 that never has expired to my knowledgeAlso recently I learned there are no bulk pickup services for yard waste that is baggedIt seems strange that everything else including hot water tanks and furniture are no problemNo sticks leaves or grass !Too many new price increases for the same service.Also bulk pickup is no longer included with the service. It is an extra charge and in my case a bed and mattress were a total of 60$ to be picked up one week apart. Charging extra for a previously included service is price gouging

WM arrives on time to pick up my residential trash. Bills are easy to read and understand. Good experience with the company and drivers who operate the truck. Consistent and reliable.

RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! DO NOT LOOK BACK UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR TRASH NOT COLLECTED OR STREWN IN THE ROAD. Go with ANY other company. If WM is your choice, you'll be sorry. I have no choice and am on the phone with them averaging once a month for issues. Rating? -100 stars.November 9th 2023: my opinion is still the same. The company is a monopoly so I don't have much choice. The original review was left in early 2022. You can see it hasn't changed much.

The communication has been good when service changes occur during a holiday week. Also, there was damage to a neighbors basketball hoop and WM quickly sent a check to purchase a new one.

I hate writing negative reviews, but this company has forced me to do so. I have about 30 emails / txt messages from a company representative, promising me services price and scheduling that not only never materialized but turned out to be a NIGHTMARE and begged me the question of “how are they still doing business in my town?!”.WASTE Management is a horrible company to be deal With on the administrative side. They have deceptive billing practices. I have switched to a competitor (MSW) and I’ve been very pleased with the services and the cost point they offer. This review has not been for the delivery drivers themselves as they did an amazing job of what was asked of them from an administration standpoint.

We have been pleased with our service from Waste Management. Bills are easy with auto-pay, they are dependable to pick up our garbage, and they leave our site clean. We live on a narrow road and the driver is careful and cooperative about letting traffic flow. I wish they provided recycling services in our area.

When they show up to collect garbage, the service is fine. However, if I need to contact the company for any reason, good luck! They are impossible to reach. When I call them, I reach an out of state call center who knows nothing about my area. We went 4 weeks straight with no garbage pickup. We made 3 calls, and each time were promised that someone would be by to pick up our garbage. Nobody ever came, and we never received a call back. There is no way to reach the local WM office. Calls to the local office ring in at a call center in Texas. WM needs some competition in West Virginia.

Best waste collection service in the area. Never have issues with pickup and they are very consistent. Our driver is very good and courteous. Other companies have came and gone but WM has been around a while.

Very easy to find & not very far from main paved road. I've been paying for trash pickup for years but I'm cancelling that as I find it much cheaper to just take it myself, also I don't have to worry that a dog or critter has gotten in my trash that's waiting for it to be picked up (bc they don't even bother with trash that something as gotten into). I drive an F150 & the bed was full of trash & it only cost me 17$(I'm rounding up, the price was actually less then 17$). Only issue is that you need a vest , which the lady was kind enough to loan me one for the time being but I will need to purchase one.

Can’t speak to a representative. My trash was nit picked up this morning so I called 5 times trying to speak with someone to find out why. Their answering service will not let me speak to a real person and is not able to answer any questions.

Company set up a dumpster weeks prior to delivery date only to be told the day of delivery that they did not service my work address. Rental equipment and labor was already set for demolition project but had to be stopped as did not have a dumpster to gather debris! Ridiculous that their sales team doesn't know their territory. Additionally would do nothing concerning losses because of their incompetence. Do not use this company!

The drivers missed my house. I called and they scheduled a new pick up and they never came back. Ive watched the drivers throw the cans multiple times. I had to eventually buy new cans and strap them to my fence because we lost so many this way. The cost to have one bulk item pick up is outrageous

Waste Management is such a reliable and. Dependable company. It is very nice knowing we can always depend on them getting our trash the same day each week. There is never any wondering or guessing if they will come pick up or not. My son unfortunately cannot get Waste Management services where he lives and his trash company literally is horrible. Sometimes they don’t even come pick up for weeks at a time. I do not mind to pay for good reliable service.

I have been with WM for over twenty years and the service has been very good each year. I like how they call or send an email to notify us when pickup is canceled due to a holiday etc.

I am extremely unhappy with the service lately. Our trash continues to not be picked up on time, or even when told it will be after calling in regards to it not being picked up. I understand that places are short staffed, but there is zero communication on pick ups. So trash is being kept outside for days, without any notification of it ever being picked up. (I am currently on 4 days of it being late and still being outside).

Started a new service and there is a shortage of bins. Trash has been sitting outside week after week like they advised me to until I received a bin. They have yet to pick my trash up. And they are not taking Initiative to fulfill their job duties.
