Dr sheriff has taken care of my cat Oliver. While oliver is very loving and affectionate to me and people he knows, he is absolutely the spawn of the devil towards anyone he doesn’t know - especially at vets. They took excellent care of him and I am very appreciative of that.Dr sheriff always took the time to call me after procedures and with updates and would even call and check in a week or two after the procedure to make sure everything was going well.

If you have a big dog, don’t go here. I understand that they don’t know my dog, and they need to protect their staff, but I also feel that they need some training on literally the most basic dog behavior, to better serve them.1. They asked me to put a muzzle on him, which is fine, but then they left me in the room for 15 minutes while his anxiety and discomfort built.2. THEN they walked in all three people at once, with masks, and stared down at him. He, of course, growled. Apparently dogs aren’t allowed to growl at the vet, because that’s all he did. Then they refused to treat him without extreme sedation.3. Then they had zero understanding or empathy toward the HUMAN trying to manage this debacle, which I feel they helped create.Poor communication from Dr Sheriff and her staff didn’t help the situation either.Take your big dogs somewhere else.

My first experience with Valley Veterinarians was when my daughter had to put her cat to sleep. During this incredibly emotional time, the staff was caring, respectful and made the experience for my daughter less traumatic. Because of this, when time came for me to say goodbye to my precious Kharma, I trusted them with this endeavor. Again, the entire staff showed empathy and somber respect. Now, this is the only place I entrust my two 9 month old furbabies.

Refusing to care about me or even offering to just be there and listen is one thing but this world is also apathetic towards animals too. When you refuse to help or accommodate a dog with special needs then you’re just as low as the rest of this dark demonic world!You’re in it for the money! Surely isn’t loving thou neighbor! And I’d gladly would have went through keeping the appointment and paying you - it’s not that I didn’t come prepared but your true colors and unwillingness to love an animal is cold and cruel.And just for the record and the judgmental people - last time I was there a couple years ago I paid for a widowed woman who brought her late husband’s dog to sleep - Dachshund mix. Funny thing is I’m now the widow and you can’t even accommodate any help for my dog! She didn’t even have the money that day and couldn’t walk to the door on her own strength! Cold world!

This was the second time we have brought a family pet to cross the rainbow bridge. The staff is full of kindness and compassion. Especially the assistant that we had both times. She is spot on with her compassion and care both times and she deserves recognition. I would recommend this place to anyone and will continue to come here.

I have always had a great experience here! They have always taken exceptionally great care of my two dogs. They’ve went above and beyond to make sure I’m informed and updated during their surgeries and been very nice and gentle when giving vaccines. Front desk always is very polite and greets you when you come in. Very friendly and positive atmosphere. Highly recommend taking your pets here where they treat them like their own.

Been going here for vet care on and off since 2006. Dr Sherrif is absolutely awesome! Ended up switching back because my old vet stopped coming in the room for exams and talking with me.Having the vet techs talk to me instead. In my opinion this is like going to the doctor and only seeing the nurse!

I adopted a kitten from the shelter on Thursday. After his vaccine at the shelter he became lethargic and over the weekend kept getting worse. I took him Monday without an appointment. They were busy but got us in pretty quick. The staff was amazing. We had Dr. Sheriff and she is great she didn't rush us through she took care of my little baby. She ran some tests and kept him in a warmer for an hour or so. I was a little scared of the price with all the tests and prescription food. They explained all the costs and what they were for. It turns out it wasn't expensive at all for me. With everything done it was very reasonable. I would highly recommend this place!

Very kind and caring staff. We had to put one of our dogs down and they were very compassionate and accommodating for the three people in the family who wanted to be there with her. I had never been there before but I would always recommend this place to anyone with end of life services for their pets. I will always be thankful for what you did for us and our family when we needed it.

I have had nothing but good experiences with Valley Vets. My animals have seen Dr. Sheriff and Dr. Irvine for several years now, from routine check ups to emergencies. They have always given their absolute best, pouring their heart and soul into their work, treating my fur babies as they would their own. Whether a super busy or slow day for them, they always give quality time to their patients, and I think that speaks volumes to their work ethic and loyalty to animals. If you’re looking for quality care, take them to Valley Vets!

They are very supportive and give you options if they cannot render aid to your animal for whatever reason.I cannot recommend them enough. Not pleased. I had a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog that spent the evening in the ER Vet. The ER Vet recommended a Vet Neurologist for further help with these epileptic seizures. My dog was a regular patient of Valley Veterinarians, so I called telling them that my dog had spent all night in the ER for idiopathic epileptic seizures. And I was headed to Charlotte because her seizures had become violent with thrashing, crying out...I was a horrific ordeal. I asked for something to make my dog comfortable for the trip as I could tell my dog was in great pain. The veterinarians there wouldn’t get on the phone with me, and they didn’t “feel comfortable” reviewing the vet records from ER vet to help me. I would need an appointment. The vets on staff that day were Dr. Sheriff, and Dr. Irvine. I kept pleading. The receptionist kept going back to vet to ask. I finally had to leave for Charlotte to try to save my dog.The difference in CARE (Charlotte Animal Referral & Emergency) in Charlotte was I sent the ER records while I was driving via email, they listened and took my information (now remember, they have never seen me before) in detail of everything that had happened. I told them I would arrive at 3:15pm. I arrived at 3:13pm, and they were out to the car with a gurney and a vet within 1 minute of arrival. That is the kind of service I would expect from her primary veterinarian office. My dog was dead upon arrival. And thanks to Valley Vets died a painful, agonizing death because they refused to help me make her comfortable for the trip I write this so if any other dog owner has a true emergency, I would not call Valley Veterinarians. I can’t stress enough the contrast between these two vet offices. I will not be using Valley Bets for anything besides vaccines. That day was the last time Dr. Irvine or Dr. Sheriff give me any advice about anything.

I have taken my dog Nahla there for two years since getting her. The staff is always friendly and efficient, and I am never left waiting for very long. The vets have always taken time to explain things ( now over the phone, with COVID precautions,) and always give helpful recommendations so that I can better care for my dog. The only negative thing I can say is that sometimes it is difficult to get through by phone, but I feel like the friendly staff ( who actually seem to love animals unlike other places I’ve been,) more than make up for that one negative. I would definitely recommend taking your pet to Valley Veterinarians.

Valley Vets has always been super professional, helpful, and caring to my animals, but my most recent visit will likely be my last. I took my dog for a procedure involving his teeth, he recovered well, seems to be doing good, and it was relatively inexpensive. Great, love that, but when I went to pick him up he was absolutely soaked in his own urine. I asked why and the employee said they didn’t know and that he must’ve drooled or sweat on himself. First of all, dogs don’t sweat? Second of all, he could not have drooled enough to be soaked?I realize that things must be beyond hectic there due to COVID-19. I’m sure they’re doing their absolute best. I’m an understanding person, I know animals are unpredictable and accidents happen, but that’s my baby, I can’t imagine how miserable he was, rolling around in his own pee, with nowhere to go or get dry or the neglect that led to his condition. That’s not okay. Aftercare is just as important as the treatment or procedure and they missed the mark by far.

Thwy treated my Sora so well!!they loved on her while doing her exam so she didn't even realize she was getting a checkup! Since she got a rabies vaccine the visit was super cheap! Definatly found my forever vets in the area!

Valley Vets is the best!! They’ve gone to great lengths at helping save our fur baby, Chloe! The whole staff is caring, honest and helpful! They welcome our pups with open arms! The doctors are amazing as they explain things well, are thorough and give the pros and cons and provide estimates before doing anything so you don’t get surprised. They’ve empowered us to be a part of our pups care as well. I wouldn’t take our pets else! Thank you all for being so amazing!!

Excellent service. Valley Vets managed to get my pups into the office on short notice while making arrangements so other patients furry families would not get sick. I have always had great experiences with taking my pets here and will do so for years to come.

If you send your pet in for surgery they will probably forget about it. Some of the staff cares but the majority do not. They will leave your animal covered in its own urine, vomitus and feces, a couple of the staff will even be cruel (i.e.: choke and strike) to your pet. Most of the staff are lazy as hell and will outright refuse to answer phones or check out patients/clients. Overpriced and from some of the staff I've heard the clinic will straight up ignore employee complaints about abusive clients. I would recommend avoiding Valley Vets. Remember Valley Vets Will Slay Your Pets (an actual factual joke the staff has made)

Wouldn't take my pet any place else. They were able to save my cat's life once. But when she became ill in July, there was nothing they could do. Instead of doing expensive useless tests, they gave me advice on keeping her comfortable. She passed 2 days later. Their kindness and compassion was such a blessing!!

Typically have a good experience. Have been taking my dog for 4+ years. Took her to get her nails clipped. Paws have been bleeding for over 3 hours now. Cut way too short on more than one paw. Was given attitude when called and asked about it. Super disappointed and would rather drive far away to go elsewhere instead of going to a place that has become careless.
