They removed old gas log FP and installed a new unit. It was a great experience. The installers were so considerate and exceptionally clean. Made an appointment for an annual fireplace cleaning and inspection. They fit me in within a week of calling and on the day of, they called to say they were ahead on schedule and asked if I’d like them to come a little early - unheard of for home maintenance services! He was in and out in less than an hour, kept the work area clean (it’s a fairly dirty job and you couldn’t even tell he’d been here except for the cleaner fireplace). Great company 2 knobs broke off my furnace (manufacturers parts) whole wood burning unit was recently installed. The company was responsive and explained things, great guys! They installed our woodstove into the fireplace. They did a great job.We didn't go with a cheaper woodstove, nor did he pressure us into any one stove. He answered questions and offered comparisons. Unfortunately, due to supply and demand right now, we couldn't get the design we wanted, but he was ready with notes of what was available. Coming to the area from the north east, I was excited he was a dealer for Vermont woodstoves. That was my first choice for a woodstove company. Well worth the hour drive to go down to see his examples and talk with him the first time! He then came out to check measurements and which chimney went to which fireplace before the installation. I will be using them next year for maintenance

The guys at Chimney Doctor Llc Wv, Hurricane WV were awesome, professional and efficient. They explained their process and shared the work as it proceeded to rebuild my chimney cap as after 50 years it definitely needed repairs. They removed old bricks, mortar, flashing and more. They were very careful working from scaffolding and the rooftop and always kept the work area clean. Their brick work was excellent and will last for a long time for sure. In early October, I scheduled a chimney sweeping appointment in late November. Five days before the appointment, I call Chimney Doctor and left a voicemail to confirm how they accept payment. I get a call back several hours later telling me that I'm not even scheduled for an appointment! They completely ignored to mark my appointment when I scheduled it, and the next earliest appointment they had available is in January! The man on the phone said he'd call me back the next day to let me know if he could fit me in any earlier. He never called back.This company is completely unprofessional. They're charging $235 + tax for a chimney sweeping. I ditched this company and scheduled a sweeping with another company in early December for $150 + tax.They only get away with this extreme lack of professionalism and extortionate pricing because there is very little competition for chimney sweeping in this region.
