We came down from Michigan to take our little guy to Billy Bob's, before we went we checked out downtown and found The Pottery Place. We had an absolutely amazing time. It was our first time, and they were so kind in explaining how it worked and they shipped our pieces to us for a minimal price. Well worth the stop. It was peaceful, and such a great family activity.

My kids had a blast painting their pottery! Staff were all great and the place is well stocked. My only complaint is the price. If there were more choices in the $8-15 range it would be a 5 stars. It will have to be for special occasions only for us from now on! Loved the experience though.

Went with family had all items on counter painted couple weeks later I get a call and they said one item wasn’t payed for and I kno they were all payed for cause it was well over 300 dollars so basically had to pay double because someone didn’t do there job I would never go again a bunch of kids work there on there phones making unreasonable mistakes and costing people extra money. I called the place and the lady was rude over the phone wouldn’t give me a name. I wouldn’t recommend nobody to go and I’ll never go again.

Absolutely wonderful environment. It was calm yet fun at the same time. Good for any kind of group of any age. Highly recommend you paint something super weird or dorky I promise they will love it.

Went with my family so 4 grandchildren could could paint pottery. We were informed that because there were more than 8 people we would have to pay an additional $30 "party fee" - but we didn't get anything special for this fee. Bad approach to business.

Went in there looking to get a gift bag and was not treated well by a staff member. I asked if I could get a bag with a handle and she replied "Well you're not getting one of those!" I don't know if she assumed I wasn't willing to pay for it or was just having a bad day but I really don't appreciate the way I was treated. It's sad too because the first thing I thought about when I had walked in was bringing my girlfriend back that evening as a Valentines Day gift. Lost my business, but if they don't want to take my money there's a ton of other businesses that will. Very disappointed.

Love this place, i was here multiple times last year and haven't been in a while. They don't discriminate and welcome everyone. They were so nice to me and my gf when we walked in. We were mistaken and thought we had to pay after we painted so we started painting. Person working there came over and nicely told us we had to pay. They didn't single us put and their smile felt genuine, like they really loved having us there. Apparently there was a new policy instituted so we had to pay first. They didn't rush us on paying and instead were so nice, telling us that we could take our time and finish what we were doing first then go up to the register and pay. This is the perfect place to take someone on a date. 100/10 definitely coming back here more often.

My family and I went here. Got a call that they broke one of our things that we painted. It totally slipped my mind after that because I have so much on my plate right now they don’t even call you anymore when your stuff is ready then I remembered that we had stuff there Mind you we pay for the stuff upfront they don’t have enough courtesy to call you even though they broke some thing and they went ahead and threw it away. Don’t recommend it at all because they can break your stuff but they can’t give you a car, but you can pay them. I don’t understand it at all! Go to somewhere where they will actually call you when your stuff is ready And people don’t have spaghetti fingers or butter fingers!

This place is a little more on the expensive side, however it is a very fun place. It's my ideal place for first dates since it's a great place to talk. The atmosphere is fun and the staff are helpful. The hours are too short and I wish they were open longer. They are open for alcohol if you have a party there. You can have your own paint and sip!

We had our grand daughters birthday at pp staff was pleasant and we all had fun. Only complaint would be they didn't have any way to clean up spills so if you're having a party for young children bring your own.

Horrible experience both times (first to paint, second to pick up). The employee working both times was loud and condescending. When you walk in she immediately yells across the room that you must have a mask on, if you don’t have one, to go to the bookstore and buy one. First of all, it’s rude to yell across the room and quite embarrassing because everyone in the establishment is then staring at you like you have done something wrong. While I was painting, she would continue to yell the same thing across the room at just about everyone who entered. Now keep in mind, most businesses are not requiring customers to wear a mask if fully vaccinated and that’s why people were entering without a mask. The employee really needs to learn how to talk to people politely. The way she went about the issue was very unprofessional and quite embarrassing to the customers. The second time I came in to pick up my item, the same employee was working and was very condescending. When she asked what the name was, I gave her the same name as the first time. She couldn’t find it. So she looked up my phone number. And very condescendingly told me i wasn’t giving her the right name. This employee needs more training and coaching on how to customer service. I know that I definitely won’t return to this location if I see she’s working.

Not happy with my latest experience. You do not have to wear a mask anywhere at the present time except Pottery Place. It is very hot in here and I do not feel like I can enjoy my experience for the mask police will not let us be to paint. We have been here several times and after this experience we will not be back. I will also spread the word through social media as to the experience we had.

My daughter's like going there a lot we've went a whole lot of times with them we have stuff all over our house that they have made from there. We went there yesterday and of course the prices have went up just like everything else is went up but overall it's pretty cool to go there especially when your kids like going there.

26 dollars for the smallest plant holder ever. I mean 3 inches by 3 inches tops. Idk who wrote decent prices in the reviews cause the cheapest thing you could paint for 7 dollars took one solid brush stroke and you're done painting. Just expect to pay 50 dollars for 2 people on 2 small pieces.

Love the place but one of the staff members kepted having personal conversations and would never stop talking even after customers said she was bothering us. Then we got are pottery and sat down like we used to do and she came to the table and it felt rude how she approached it telling us we had to pay before we paint.

This place is a fun yet relaxing venue to be creative. I have some crafting experience but anyone can do this! There's stencils and other techniques the staff will be happy to teach you how to do to make your piece unique. In a week, go and pick up your finished piece. I love it!

Per Brianna‘s ( employee) request she told me to go to FB and leave my complaint. So here goes. New owner will not honor an old gift card. Even tho there is no expiration date. I believe this to be bad Business and makes this company Untrustworthy. The excuse I got for not honoring the gift card was the old owner got the money, not the new one, so I am just out my money. As they laughed. Very disappointed in this small Business.

These people are incredibly nice and helpful and bent over backwards to help me create a fun and artistic experience for my granddaughters even though I live three states away and they had to send me the pottery, paints and brushes, then glazed and fired our creations and sent them back to us ! I can't praise these sweet , not to mention efficient, people enough!!!

Would not recommend going here, took a piece of pottery home to paint. Brought back in to be fired. They threw away my pottery without calling me. Even though I had reached out on multiple platforms. Wouldn’t waste your money like I did. Waste of $40 dollars.
