Shop there all the time. Great selection for a smaller store, excellent management. The manager has even ordered in special requests for us. The deli is my go to in the afternoon or after work. Their Thanksgiving items from the deli were delicious.

Every single time I've bought meat from here it's spoiled overnight. This doesn't happen when I go to other stores so it isn't my refrigerator and I keep refrigerated items in insulated bags because the thought of eating something that's had the chance to get to room temp creeps me out. It's a good place to stop if your in a hurry or need a few things you're going to consume immediately but I wouldn't do my weekly shopping here. They're not competitive at all with pricing and you will absolutely find what your looking for cheaper almost anywhere else.

I live in Barboursville, WV but I work in Wayne ,Co WV so on my way home I stop here. Its convient, well stocked, employees are always so friendly, and its clean. I love this store. But than again all Food Fairs Ive been in are like this. Great place to shop.

Decent selection. They're pretty good about keeping the shelves stocked. It's a little pricy on some things but it beats going to Walmart all the time.

The prices are very high, the deli,you could smell the fryer oil was dirty and very old the hot food looked dried out and bad will not buy the hot deli food.

The Lavalette Food Fair is a delightful place to shop. It isn't overly crowded like some grocery stores, so it is wonderful for social distancing. The deli has tasty, home-made quality foods you can pick up for lunch or dinner at an affordable price. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is really hard to not find what you need.

Not just your run of the mill country grocery store, this is where families come to get the fixings for a family festival at Grandma's house the managers and all of the staff are amazing people and always willing to help

It's I a good location for the area and they have a decent selection. You got to watch what you get here. I've gotten food items that were damaged or freezer burned. I once got a box of popsicles that had all melted and refroze. Today, the last few cartons of Egglands Best eggs all had broken eggs in them. (But they were on sale 🤷.) The employees have always been friendly and helpful. No place is perfect, I guess.

I was in this store around 4:30 today and I saw the sign on the door about wearing mask when you are inside. Well that is a big joke because management is not informing what the Governor said. I asked the young lady who checked me out if they were enforcing this rule and she told me they can’t force them to comply. This is so sad that management would not do what they are supposed to do!!! This is the reasoning that our area has become a hotspot for the virus again. Management can refuse to allow people to come in to their business if they are not respecting the rules and regulations. I will not be going back to that store and it is convenient for me. The owner and management should be ashamed of yourselves.

The only grocery store close to me lol prices aren't bad if you shop right, its bad that you have to actually shop smart to get a buggy full of groceries unlike Walmart you can go in with out a list for the same price if not less than food fair but I still like food fair just go when you first get your paycheck lol

I've always shopped with Food Fair and never before had any issues. Today I went shopping and my experience was horrible. The manager did nit conduct herself professionally at all to resolve the issue. She was very rude, treated me with the most horrible respect, and looked dwn at me. I do not believe she shld be a manger if she is goin to conduct herself in that manner, and to be as disrespectful to customers as she was to me....that doesn't represent the company well at all!?😞

I've been spoiled by the one in Barboursville West Virginia by the Krogers. I moved here on 5th Street Hill and went to the one in Lavalette and it's just disorganized it's kind of cramped do not have the organizational how's that I'm used to just didn't care for it and probably won't go back unless it's for something simple that I need to get real quick.
