Good people working there. Overall not a bad store. Only issue is stock can be issue here. Sometimes out of items that are on sale the day after sale started or sometimes even the day the sale starts. 5 stars if not for stock issues.

7th Avenue Kroger pharmacy is the best.I have used Walgreens for years but since their closing of stores I was sent to Kroger's, and I have to say that I love it. The wait is almost non-existent and the people are so friendly and nice. Keep up the great work folks!!

If you need to find some basics yourself in store, you'll be fine. All of my interactions with the staff here have been positive. But avoid using ClickList at this location. My family used Click List weekly for the two years we've lived hear, but lately there is stuff wrong, rotten, or missing every week in our order. Their system used to send a text update to let you know, but now it does not. So it's an unfun game to get home and realized the order only has half the stuff one needs to prepare dinner that night. Or they'll give you rotten avocados. Or put 25 sq ft of foil instead of the 75 you paid for in the order. Or they'll inexplicably say they're out of something, but if you go in store it's right there on the shelf where it should be.

I was at 7th ave, Huntington WV to cash a Federal credit union cashier's check. The clerk's boss, informed her they don't take cashier's checks, which is fine, but change your website please that clearly states your stores cash cashier checks so customers won't waste time coming to use your money services. Thank you, from a use to be loyal customer.

Hard to find items. One woman was crowding the scratch off machine so all of us walked away so she could have it all to herself. Helpful if there were carry out rain or shine. What happened to good customer service? I heard RUDE.

They closed customer service for the entire day. I wasted my lunch break walking up here. Staff were very rude, and barked at me. Now I have to wait until later tomorrow afternoon to cash my check.I am extremely frustrated, I wasted my lunch break. Now I can't eat until tomorrow afternoon.

They are a great business that cares about their customers. Even asked how I was doing after my surgery they really seem to care the delli (not sure if I spelled that right. Lol) service is great. My family loves this store except for the first of the month people....

The only thing I like about this particular Kroger is that it's super close to me, and the majority of the staff are kind and helpful to customers.They rarely have what I am looking for in stock. I've made daily trips looking for 1 item and end up having to drive out of my way to get what I need when 3 and 4 days later they are still out of "said" product. They randomly close an hour or 2 early due to being understaffed. They have a lot of loitering going on during the late evenings, we get hit up for change or a cigarette often. Lastly, the chips and ice cream isle often smells of dead rat/animal.I've been to other surroundings area Kroger's and never see these issues and Kroger's in general is a GREAT store! Therefore this is most likely a management problem. I've shopped there for years, and it's only been like this a couple years now. Hopefully this will change.

They never have buggies you have to go out to the parking lot and get it yourself. Then you go inside and they’re all just standing around laughing and carrying on like they aren’t at work.

Usually it's a pretty good experience. This time however, they were completely out of buggies available for customers, which is understandable considering they were busy. The problem was the attitude the female employee was giving to customers who were wanting buggies. There were employees standing around on their cell phones; they were available to remedy the buggy situation. She suggested that if you did not like the situation, you can just go somewhere else and shop. This is no philosophy a business should have towards paying customers. The day was 11/13/18.

We drove in from Richmond Virginia to pick up our Christmas dinner from the deli and realized that our order we placed online was gone. The manager and deli employee Kathy quickly took action and replaced our dinner with a series upgrade. They were so friendly and really saved our family dinner! Thank you for going above and beyond to ensure we had food for our family. If I could I would award them both customer service awards :)

This is the smaller of the two Krogers and is definitely not the best. This location is never clean inside or outside. The selection here isn't great. The produce here is fresh though. Checkout is very slow and they lack employees overall. Would recommended the other Kroger.

Absolutely horrible place to shop. Nothing is where it should be and every time you go there it's in a different location. The Isles are barely wide enough to push one-and-a-half carts through. Although the store employees are friendly and helpful there's hardly anybody available to help you find items that are in locations they shouldn't be to begin with. Too much time is wasted trying to maneuver around people and then when it comes time to check out there's only one Isle open and the line that forms behind it blocks the main aisle for everybody... It's just terrible, terrible, terrible.

Can’t get ahold of anyone in customer service or any department. You sit there listening to an elevator music beat for 2-3 minutes then get disconnected. Doesn’t matter how many times you call it’s always the same result.

A little run down, but the building has some age. However, I don't grocery shop for the architecture!The selection is good, despite how busy the store stays, and the meat Dept is great! Take advantage of the fact they employ real butchers and have your steaks, chops, and such, cut the way you want! If it's a heavy marbled, 2 and a quarter inch ribeye you want, it's not a problem. Cut for you lick-a-dee split and presented for your approval prior to packaging. Great service and products.

This is the roughest of all the Krogers in Huntington, at least as far as human body smells and dazed people stumbling into you. Go ahead and grab a cart from one of the parking lot corrals, because they aren't always available by the actual store. The stock fluctuates a lot, and many items are out, although this is common in all stores due to capitalistic greed and false scarcity driving up prices, I mean supply chain issues. However, this Kroger sometimes has more fresh produce than the other Krogers in the area.

Hard to find parking due to ongoing remodeling/construction. Also, the older woman who works at self-checkout is rude. Just went there yesterday around noon-ish, and she is one unhappy lady! The customer service workers are all rude as well. I just don't understand...

Too crowded when coming in front doors. Didn't have selection of different items like one in barboursville. Employees at front desk are not friendly.Prices on most items good. Shop here because I live in lavalette and it's closest one to my house.

Before moving to West Virginia I had never heard of Kroger. Apparently there are some in South Carolina but I've never seen them and certainly never been in one in SC. I only shop at Publix and Harris teeter there. But after dealing with Kroger for two and a half years here, I can say the only reason they stay open around here is due to lack of competition. I have never had a positive experience in Kroger. The employees are all rude and lazy, and Management doesn't wear masks during this pandemic. Today I was trying to check out in the self check out, I would scan something, put it in my bag and have to wait while the little computer voice told me I must bag the thing, despite everything being in my reusable bag. after eight items weren't "bagged" it wouldn't let me scan anything else and called for an attendant. The lady who was supposed to be helping was over at the costumer service desk chatting with the lady running that. Completely oblivious to my situation, so I unloaded the bag, put them back in the cart and moved to a line with a cashier. there the lady made a big deal about me putting sodas in the carton they put out for the "make your own 6 pack" beer section. I explained that there was no carton for the sodas and I didn't want to walk around with six loose glass soda bottles. "well these are for beer" she snapped back. then as I was leaving, the lady who was supposed to be managing the self check out stopped me, "sir, you didn't pay for what you rang up over there" as if I had stolen something, also revealing that she saw me but didn't care to help before she was done with her conversation. I have been to the Kroger across town as well and have also ran into rude and lazy staff, but it seems like this kroger is the worst. Kroger is obviously a horrible place, Like I said, rude and lazy staff, management without masks, and I forgot to mention their produce is always gross. I've never seen a groceries store with so much rotting and mold covered fruit and vegetables. I am surprised that the health department hasn't shut them down.

The store is always clean, well stocked, the employees are all very friendly and helpful, and most importantly, they are cheapest prices around! If you have a Kroger's card, you can download coupons to it from their site up to and they will automatically come off your total and you can also accumulate points that you can redeem for up to a dollar off each gallon of gas.

Less options than other Kroger locations. Except for one product that this location exclusively sells that I buy. The store is a bit crowded with product and aisles. Its a little dingy feeling, but not enough to not like it. The staff is generally friendly. The cashiers are always nice and helpful.
