Nice folks. Great donuts. Staff is welcoming, and works hard.. Special Shout-out to April Sloan, goes above and beyond for the customers, she is polite and professional, makes you feel like you're home!We ate Gyros this time too. They were delicious and the lady who cooked was awesome!

This place sure has changed over the years I can remember when it was called Jolly Rodger when me and my grandfather would go in here and get donuts and coffee...🍩☕ Today it is linked to a Greek like restaurant where you can get Greek food to which I find quite strange but still it is good food but still the classic feel of the donut and coffee is still available there and the donuts are still always delicious I always choose chocolate iced cream filled they are the best :-)

Good Gyros, and the staff was super nice to my toddler. This is one of my favorite spots in Huntington. Get the Gyro platter you wont regret it ! Also they have had some pretty cool special donuts lately ! Def worth stopping in if you are ever in the Huntington area!

Got a half dozen donuts with coffee. The donuts were great with delicious fillings and glazes and nice light dough. The coffee itself however was watered down and really nothing special unfortunately.

Giving two instead of one because I’ll still go here, but especially over the past 7-8 years, it only progressively gets worse all around with everything. Especially service as well as changes to prices and ordering. They aren’t cheap, but clearly the owner doesn’t want to pay anyone to do a good job and he wants to be as cheap as possible with his people. Even the employees talk about it where people can hear. No wonder the hiring sign is always up. Need to get something figured out. The Ashland location always does great with consistency. This one, is consistently worse

Delicious donuts!! Chrissy was so friendly and patient as we tried to decide from the many options. Prices are also very reasonable as far as average donut prices go nowadays. If you love jelly donuts, this is your paradise! They have a few different jelly flavors. My husband liked blueberry the best. The Dutch crumb donut was my favorite.

I've been waiting a looong time to try these donuts (thanks for the rec, McElroys!). The light, delicate dough has a satisfying slight crunch and then melts in your mouth. The icing, rich without being overwhelming, somehow doesn't collapse the donut structure. The waffled texture on the outside contrasts the smoothness of the icing perfectly. Every topping I tried was incredible. And the boxes are aesthetically pleasing. The staff was fantastic and it was easy to order. Plus you get a free donut with a dozen! Nicely done, y'all!

The name Jolly Pirate how fun is that! Busy is an understatement. During our visit the drive thru was wrapped down the street & a line out the door. This didn't deter us from stopping. The line seemed long, but it moved quickly. Most doughnut shops are sold out after 2pm, not this place & they were refilling the shelves. I've heard of baker's dozen; how about Pirate Dozen of 13. Fresh, flavorful, adequate filling, tasty fillings, glazes, frosting, & other great toppings think nuts & coconut. My favorite was the Apple Spice - soft exterior, tastes of pie, & lightly frosted dusted with spice. Treat yourself to some treasure.

I love JP donuts! They have always fresh donuts as well as made to order food that is pretty tasty I definitely would recommend any gyro you won't be disappointed. Oh and did I say the donuts are great? You actually get a baker's dozen for around $13 so not to shabby huh? I recommend any of them you will be satisfied also don't forget to try the baklava either as the owner is Greek I've heard..

Our food was amazing! Meticulously made and got to go. Absolutely recommend their croissant sandwiches and the French fries was delicious. Friendly staff and loved the fresh doughnuts too.

Oh my god these donuts are AMAZING! We were in Cincinnati for a wedding and drove down to check out Huntington, thanks to the McElroy Brothers. It was worth the drive. The donuts are fresh, not greasy and the flavors are fantastic. Plus, they come in a treasure chest! I would travel back to Huntington just for these donuts.

LOVE THESE DONUTS!!!The donuts are always fresh and are so good!!! We have gone at different times in the morning and have never had any problems getting any variety we wanted.The 2 slight down sides I found are the workers are not the friendliest and as cute as the packaging is it does not keep the donuts fresh after the first day. But neither of these keep us from going back as of now.

Forget the donuts (even though they are good) - come here for the gyros. They have authentic gyros with your choice of protein that are fantastic. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. This location could use a bit of a facelift after all these years but it also adds to the charm a bit. Highly recommended.

I would have gave 5 stars, but gryo, I got bread was tough couldn't eat the pita I might be a little picky but I like my lamb moist, not dried out. Now I've been twice before, and the gyro was pretty good. That's why we go back right 3rd time not a good experience. I did mention the bread was dried out to the lady that made it she just said ok. If I do go back, I will make sure Pita is fresh and lamb is moist and not dried out

Fist and last place I visit when coming back to town. Best donuts on the planet, and the only place I can find my chocolate cream filled. In MB, SC we have Crispy Cream and Duncan Donuts, but neither compare to Jolly Pirates... my hometown and all-time favorite! 🍩
