I loved being able to spend time with the dogs. Being able to take them outside and walk them and give them individual time. The staff were very helpful. The office staff and the staff that were in the back taking care of the dogs, feeding and cleaning up the back area.

I think as over loaded as they are still good to the animals. I dont understand why the difference in money when adopting a pet according to age. I have lived in several states. Never seen prices high for puppies lower for adults. All same price. The idea is find homes for all right.

They are very cruel to the owner of the dog's and lied were my dogs are and my dogs are very friendly dogs .they said at this place that my dogs were not good dogs.well for one they don't know anyone and they were both locked up in a small cage.. of course they miss me and we're sad . they always sleep in my bed . not a small cage.then I had them go there because I had no place to stay and wanted them in a warm place and taken care of. I called them two days ago to say I will get them January 3, that's when I would have a apartment and money to pay to get my dogs back and we called today and they said they don't have my 2small dogs any more.tmy poor Benji and turk!! Know I will miss them so much.thamks the rotten shelter who does not Care about the dogs feeling s.

So my dog Zoey and mr bubbles had puppies and they were cute when they slept but it’s was get to be a handful with 7 puppies and the dad to the puppies mr bubbles would destroy my house and I would be in school and come home and it was bad 🤣but I still love them I just had to get rid of the dad and the puppies

They need more help,They should have emergency hours 24/7 Animal are important they need help all hours not having to wait days before help comes .I'm sure volunteers would help with that .

Adopted a beautiful 5yr old Rottweiler from this shelter. His shelter name was “SAUERKRAUT” but now “HARLEY D”. I’ve been to many shelters looking to adopt a dog after ours passed away. This shelter was well staffed, well maintained & the staff very friendly and knowledgeable about their animals. I was amazed by the cleanliness of the kennels and there was barely a smell. This staff truly loves and cares for these animals. Other shelters I’ve been to cannot compare to these high standards here.Shout out to “Josh” for taking such good care & training of our new addition to our family.I don’t remember other names of staff but everyone was great! Thanks to all for everything you do to find good homes for these beautiful fur babies. I will highly recommend this shelter.

Good place.. good place to get you a beautiful fur baby, I do volunteer work there walking the dogs and they're all very playful and energetic, if you're in the market for a dog, you should give this place a try because some of these beautiful fur babies need a forever home and someone to give them slot of love and attention because slot of them has been abuse abandoned mistreated beat and neglected .. and if you like the pitbull breed, then there's several amazing super friendly playful ones that's as strong as a ox but still pretty much babies and if they don't get adopted in time well we know what's next, I'm fortunate enough to get to spend slot of time with these fellas and gals and it saddens my heart to see so many beautiful sweet loving animals that just needs a good home where they're not mistreated or abused, if you love them and treat them good, they'll be by your side when noone else is!!! Go check em out, they'll even let you take em for a "test walk" to get to see how the dog acts and behaves, everyday there's a new one I want but unfortunately I can't have them where I live... The staff is also very helpful nice and knowledgable and they're very good at matching the animal to the potential doggy parents .. the first one with the white face is sioóoo stinking beautiful and very playful, good with kids I believe his name is Frankford but don't hold me to it! He is a definite BEAUTand he's not that old either!

The employees here seem to be very nice. They appear to really care about the animals. The process for adoption is rather lengthy but necessary ensure the animals get good homes. I highly recommend adopting over buying!!

Horrible used to be a helpful and inviting place.And by the way why don't you work in The field anymore ..I used to see you actually working but this is not a place for help but a place to profit from animals..All those donations keep you from actually doing what you were meant to do. No longer a humane society..but a shame.!!?Never will I own a pet.And we need public euthanasia on the streets cats are our new vermin I mean this is one stinking Huntington smh..

It's no wonder this shelter stays full, the staff here are too rude and hostile to adopt any dogs out and what they make you go through to adopt is ridiculous.We tried for over a week to adopt a dog, jumped through all of their excessive, invasive hoops. They insisted we bring our dogs to the shelter for a meet and greet, which we told them was a bad idea and stressful for our animals, but they wouldn't adopt out without it. Once there they were rude and snapped at us and didn't seem like they wanted us there. The most negative experience I've had anywhere.You have to wonder why they make it so hard to place dogs when the state gives them money for each one they keep.

Today I went to adopt a cat. Their waiver said that my birtdate was optional. The woman behind the counter told me that this was a lie, that I had to include it. Then I was told to find the catroom and select one. Next I was told to take the paper from the cage back up front to pay for the cat. Then I was told that I had to go to their website to be pre-approved. Then the woman behind the counter stereotyped me. I asked her for her title that I can file a complaint regarding the lying, failure to show me where the cats were, stereotyping, and refusing to pre-explain the process to me when I first got there. It's been a long time since I've been treated this disrespectful before. Terrible customer service!

The staff was so caring and helpful. I took my dog for a meet and greet which went well. I ended up adopting a small dog as a companion for my dog. They set up an appointment at Help for Animals to get him neutered. He was given a heart worm test on site. Highly recommend adopting and saving a life. They take monetary donations and donations of crates, leashes and anything to help out.

We adopted our Max from here and he is a GREAT dog. The staff is excellent and very knowledgeable. We have 3 other dogs and they had us bring them to the shelter to see how they would get along with Max. Spent 2 hours in the heat just to make sure Max would be a good fit. They also gave us good suggestions on how to handle them all at home. They are all 4 living comfortably at home. I will definitely adopt other dogs from here in the future.

Called to report my neighbor had killed his dog and threw it in the trash and was told that its not illegal to kill a dog and dispose of it in the trash. What kind of place are you running here? Thats just unacceptable and I will be taking this higher cause that just isnt right.

The caregiver was very courteous and friendly. We did a meet and greet with 1 canine and since the first one was a little large for our home she let us meet and greet with another. We ended up fostering the canine and hope to adopt him by the end of the week. Great place that takes care of animals and looks out for the interest of them. Highly recommended

We fostered a stray cat, and this shelter put her with a rescue center that would place her in a nice foster home and give her a second chance as an older cat. Adopted a cat from here, Olivia. They were very throrough in vetting me, and were helpful throughout the process. They do good work here. I will never purchase an animal, always adopt, and they arranged the spaying for me. Consider them for your next pet, please.
