Been in 14th st store once a week for the last 3 weeks they have no ac and it is 100 degrees in there. Chocolate on shelves are even melting. And most refrigerators not working. I would never let my employees work in that condition. Check out line is always backed down isles. My last trip until things are fixed there.

I shop here at least once a week but it is only for convenience. The staff is generally friendly, but they seem to be understaffed often. This leads to inexplicably long lines. The aisles are also quite cramped. The store could benefit from remodel.

I come in today and as I was shopping my son had to use the bathroom. I asked for a key so he could go. She told me he could not go in the bathroom. No big deal until we were checking out. A guy comes in with a girl maybe a year younger than my son not even shopping and ask you got a bathroom. The same employee who told my son he couldn't go asked if it it was for the girl. She than told another employee to open up the bathroom. My son was very upset and confused about them letting her go to the bathroom but wouldn't let him go. If your going to let one child go you let them all go.

The confusion in the store is due to the deliveries i am sure but the aisles are not very spacious and the store itself is kind of claustrophobic. I go there for to get things cheaper than the regular store but its not really that much cheaper. Bit i do like that there are less people there than wal mart or kroger

It never fails, every time I come to this place I get greeted by people asking for money and most of the time it’s the same people, most of the time we they come up to my window before I can even get out of my car, tapping on my window and asking for money. Then right before Christmas I was inside the store shopping and I see this man was walking up and down each isle asking each person he came in contact with if they would buy him this and that with the cashier of the store watching him and letting him bum the customers as they are shopping and I would have bought his snacks he had in his hand if I wasn’t already asked before I got in the store. Someone did agree to buy them but he kept rushing her to hurry up with her shopping so his stuff could be paid for, and again the cashier AND the manager of the store watched the whole thing and did not run hun off or say anything or apologize to the customer who was being rushed after she agreed she would pay for it when she was done with her shopping. This store needs some changes. I’m for helping people in need when I can in a heartbeat, but not this way and with the workers just letting it happen repeatedly. No Thanks. If their was another dollar general close to where I live I would go, but their isn’t and I don’t like family dollar

Wow....that describes this experience. Shoplifters, druggies, and chaos. The staff is beyond helpful but are definitely overwhelmed. Can't even walk the isles because of the clutter. At least they had what I needed.

Usually I have had positive experiences at the store. Not today. The smell was so horrible I couldn't breathe. The odor was worse than a fresh skunk.

Always great prices. The 14th Street West location is a newer building for DG but this location is absolutely a mess. Disorganized. Dirty. Narrow aisles. Merchandise scattered in the floor. No rhyme or reason to the floor plan. I can't imagine going there to look a specific item. Not sure if it is over-ordering merchandise, lazy staff, inefficient management. Looks like there needs to be some extra oversight by Regional Management.

Much easier to get in and out rather than a larger store like Walmart, if you watch many times you can download coupons off the website that can also be used with other instore coupons and manufacturers coupons, I have purchased laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, hair care products etc... all next to nothing.

Always super messy with stuff all over the floor. I've known some of the staff to be rude at times too. I will continue to shop there because it's close to home, but it seems like this store is in need of some better leadership.

The manager is super sweet but on the other hand.. the new lady they hired is so mean .. she was rude enough for me to say nevermind on all of it and leave my few items at the register and walk out not buying anything I needed. Went across the street to Family Dollar.

Every time we go there the place is a disaster. The aisles are a mess stuff all scattered in the floor the bathrooms are disgusting. They really really need to figure something out to keep that place way cleaner than what it is.

They have alot of nice stuff at super cheap. For the longest I've been going to another store with Dollar in the name, and I'm so happy I've discovered this place. It's much cheaper than the competition. So if youre a broke millennial like me, definitely reccomend.

I think things are easy to find and the store is always clean. The employees are helpful and nice. The prices are reasonable and the shelves are always stocked and hardly ever empty!

They helped me . let me walk in and walk out with things i needed because its so hard for me being telepathic to get anything like money ,car ,home , kids , and medicine. Im lied too. People think its funny and would rather make a person of god situation worse .Kick me, spit on me , laugh , lie , cheat , and steal. Look it up... Being telepathic and telecenicis and psychic .

The restroom was locked so I asked for the key. The lady said no public restrooms, I said what about customers? A man who works there said "people" and before he could say more I said do drugs in there and he said "that and put stuff down in it."I said well I can't shop here I have to go.They have a mens and ladys room at the front of the store and I can't shop there.

I have been ask on 3 occasions when checking out if the cashier could search my purse. They said it was store procedure due to high theft rate. I have never been a thief but was made to feel like one. The lady in front of me was very upset also. What's next? Cavity searches each time I want to shop at DG store in west Huntington? That's why I no longer shop at that location.

The Isles are too tight... You can barely fit through the store to do your shopping it is organized completely wrong and clerks act like their job is a burden at most times varies upon location slow service overall
