They definitely know what they're doing and make an excellent coffee. The building is gorgeous,I loved the little seating area that looks down on the street.(FYI for people sensitive to smells: the attached store seems to have a lot of candles or tart warmers and the smell is fairly strong throughout)

The sweetest place to shop for wants AND needs in Hinton, with a great selection of clothes, home goods, and outdoor accessories. Plus, the best thing of all: a coffee shop upstairs!

We were in the area for the Color the River kayak float and decided to explore Hinton. We got a couple things from the Market down the road and came to Otter and Oak after they recommended their coffee. We had our salad and cheesecake upstairs in the art gallery in front of the windows looking at the street. The shop was beautiful and our lattes were awesome! Definitely worth it after a day on the Greenbrier! We didn't have time to shop downstairs as they were near closing time, but we will be back as soon as possible! The staff was extremely friendly to us and were genuinely interested in our adventures that day. Beautiful atmosphere and I adored the art and architecture!

Very nice comfy place to sit, eat a very delicious scone and drink a choice of hot or cold beverage. You can shop and find a variety in nice things from clothing to perfume and toys. And if you just wanna chill and read a book while drinking your coffee, you can do that too.

I love ordering my Skinny Syrups from this shop in my hometown. They respond quickly when I have questions. The cafe' upstairs is a must when you visit in person. Angel is an excellent Barista!

I went for the cafe'. The Toasted Marshmallow iced coffee was delicious! The feel of the store and the clothing is super cute. Will definitely be back.

We are from out of town but relocating to Summers Co after retirement. We rarely get time to just visit and enjoy the area, we are usually working on the property but we took some time this past weekend and SO GLAD! The Oak is spectacular. The beautiful Oak out front was spectacular. Every view is amazing. The large windows are perfect. Atmosphere is perfect. Service was a 10. Owner is super sweet. Food was a 10. We will be making this a regular. I hope they stay forever.

The staff here were so great and friendly and made the best coffee I’ve had in my life. The whole town of Hinton is so cute but the cafe here is the best hidden gem. An absolute must if you stop in Hinton. Can’t wait to go back!

Great outdoor store in Hinton, WV. They have Kuhl brand clothing, TEVA footwear and hiking gear like ENO hammocks, GPS systems and much more. The staffing very helpful. Don't forget to visit the coffee bar upstairs.

To be honest, we didn't really look at what they had for sale at the store too much, but what we did see was nice quality clothing and accessories for outdoor activities (they have a good selection of Garmin products). We were mainly there for the coffee. They have good coffee and a lovely selection of chocolates and other treats you can enjoy with your coffee.

Love Otter and Oak! They have a great selection of outdoor and casual clothing, along with many of the items you would need to enjoy a day or more recreating on the rivers and mountains of the area.Be sure to check out the coffee bar and art gallery on the second floor!

The person who helped me check out was awesome- Our kids wanted some toys but I wanted to surprise them with them. She snuck back to the toy rack and got them for me and secretly rung them up. So the kids have no clue what will be waiting for them on their pillows later. Thank you!!!

Visited for the coffee bar upstairs and loved our lattes with fresh scones from Lucky Rivers. Then we browsed the store on the first floor and found some little car toys for the kids to be entertained on our trip home. Very clean very well stocked store with a large variety of items.
