Absolutely loved this place! We ended up having a lot of snow and I wouldn’t have wanted to be anywhere else. The huge stone fireplace kept us warm and the scenery was amazing. Our host was more than gracious making sure we had everything we needed. Already planning my next trip back.

Me and my fiancé chose this venue for our wedding reception and we took a tour of the facilities. However, due to outside circumstances we ended up having to cancel at this location. The hostess was great through the planning stages and was very accommodating and attentive to detail. The location was beautiful, very relaxing, and within close proximity to the beautiful new river gorge. I would recommend!

I can’t say enough great things about this lodge venue! The location is secluded yet is not far from easy access to restaurants, businesses and necessities. The lodge itself is beautiful. It has enough beds for up to 15 people. The fireplace is cozy, the hot tub is relaxing, and the front deck and fire pit areas are a perfect place to converse with a large group. The owner is so kind and down to earth. I would recommend this lodge for friendsgiving, weddings, family reunions, birthdays, or a romantic getaway. And the surround system was perfect for when we watched Super Bowl Sunday. Thank you so much Tama!!

I absolutely adore this place! It’s definitely a home away from home. It’s secluded enough to be quiet and peaceful, but it’s close enough to local all the attractions to get out and enjoy. There is a nice fire pit with wood available, a hot tub, grill, entertainment system, scores of books, and even a beautiful outdoor wedding venue! The kitchen is to die for! Honestly there’s no words for how great it really is. The house itself is absolutely gorgeous, and the host is the sweetest lady ever! This place is definitely the spot! I’m coming here as often as I can.

We have been to Sweet Retreat a few times and our family falls in love with it every time we go. The views are perfect , the home is gorgeous, private and accommodating and you couldn't find a better host. Sitting by the fire or relaxing in the jacuzzi is the perfect way to just get away from our hectic day to day.

We had the most beautiful, relaxed weekend here for Friendsgiving. The beds are so comfortable, and there are outstanding features on the property. A dip in the hot tub on the back deck is a must! The property is pet friendly and roomy. Only 10 minutes from downtown Fayetteville and 15 minutes from several hikes (Long Point Trailhead has a gorgeous view of the bridge), so there is plenty to do! We can't wait to visit again!

Went to Sweet Retreat this psst weekend. Awesome time here! Inside this beautiful retreat is very well manicured with detail and I love the wood appeal. I encourage anyone looking for a great spot to come over here and stay the night for a few nights.

Stayed here with a wedding party. It was a great venue, big house with lots of beds. Host was extremely nice and helpful.Only down side was limited bathrooms when one went out-of-order during the weekend.

Beautiful venue, attended a wedding there recently. The hostess is very friendly and easy to work with. Beautiful large home in a secluded area, but close enough to all the tourist attractions in the awesome state of West Virginia.
