I was followed by an employee from the time I walked into the store until the time I went to checkout. Dollar General, please educate and train your employees that it is improper to discriminate on shoppers based on their color. My dollars spend just like the other shoppers who were not followed in your store. I even overheard her speaking with another employee when I went to the self checkout, because there was no cashier at the register, saying "they're at the self checkout". Yes, they were in the aisle discussing us. As a result I left my items at the self checkout and I chose NOT to spend my money at a store where your employees assume that the woman of color who came in with her son was coming in to steal. Dollar General please do better!!!!!

These places are usually crowed not with customer but stock not getting on the shelves. Prices are getting out of hand and shelves are usually empty and cashiers are mostly on breaks when there are more then 10 people waiting seems to me that it is more important to have their breaks then tend to customers

Great experience having birthday balloons filled for my daughter! Store was very tidy and well put together. Employees were very friendly! Justin went above and beyond by helping me to the car with balloons! I highly recommend this location!

Walmart/Sam's club gift cards don't work here even tho the machine's say gift card, brand new gift card with cash on it that I just got today as a present an they said idk if there is really 10 on it. Last time dealin with this place.

Just don't go here if you're not white. They tried to charge me extra 60 cents and they've scammed money out of me before. Don't use a card here. Don't be anything but white here. It's not safe and he employees are extremely impatient and disrespectful. Especially the lady who worked 8/2/2023 an was on clock around 3 pm. Everytime I come there, she's extremely hateful and told her friend to skip the line so she could be on her way.

Good example of why WV gets made fun ofCompletely clueless staff usually outside smoking or hiding somewhere to avoid customers who want to knowwhere items are,why items ring up different than the posted price,sale items that are incorrectly priced,open leaking tops on cleaning supplies. Constant cash register errors that take time to fix while you stand there.Nobody at register to check you out

Always looks like a bomb went off inside with items scattered everywhere. Seems like every time I go in there blocking a whole row to restock things. The staff is nice enough and they have good prices on some things if you know what to look for. Just a convenient place to stop that has a little more than most gas stations.

Staff is friendly & helpful! I can always find what I'm looking for. I only gave 4 out of 5 stars because the store is kind of cluttered & there's hardly any room to walk down the aisles with a cart. That's not a staff/employee problem that's an owner problem!

It's my local run and grab it store. It's rare to go in there and not find what you need. But I have to say, the staff are always nice. Just good folks. Absolutely affordable, hence the term dollar general. Great place top find little this and that's at low prices.

Best place for greeting cards. However, I don’t buy much else here as the quality is often lacking. But it’s good for cards, school supplies, etc. or if you don’t feel like driving into Martinsburg.

Their prices are becoming absolutely ridiculous!!! I mean seriously when a, 2 liter Diet Dew now costs $1.80 at this place but is cheaper by upto 10 cents at Walmart you def have a problem... Honestly I really feel they're slowly moving upto Food Lion prices which are also ridiculous which are at $2.00+ per 2 liter when not on sale.... What a joke!!!

The DG stores are a God send for those who don't want to deal with Walmart. Most are close to home, well stocked, and quick in/ out. Perfect.

This place has all of your needs... public restrooms... in store order and in store pickup!!! Very awesome employees!!! And it's really clean as well

This store has everything your looking for without being cluttered up like most other Dollar Generals you go into. There is usually a line at check out but it never takes them long to get you out the door.

The cashier was not as friendly as the cashier's in the five Dollar generals I frequently visit in the Hagerstown stores. I hope it was just a bad day for her, and not her everyday response to customers.
