Initially. We had a horrible experience. It was a communication issue within Armstrong. Today we got our Internet. Our installers were awesome. Very professional and helpful. Nice guys. They more than made up for the initial confusion.Our internet is fiber and lightening fast. Ask them to upgrade to fiber

We've been using Armstrong for their fiber internet service about 3 years now and only experience issues very rarely (a hiccup once every few months). Steaming video, online gaming, and multiple devices at once is no issue. Better internet service than I've ever had anywhere else! It is a bit pricey, but at least I get a working, reliable service, which seems to be so rare these days. Fiber is a slightly more costly cable to lay (and superior technology), and they've been expanding the service area too it seems, so I'm not surprised they have to raise the price as a result. Anyways, I highly recommend their fiber internet service!

Trying to pay through the IVR results in the call restarting all the way from the beginning. If their payment system is representative of their company, then it's clear Armstrong doesn't want your money

It’s always crashing. 3-4 times a day. Bought the best plan at 500mb and it only stays anywhere from 1mb-10mb speed consistently. Never a steady connection or quick. Honestly it’s just not good at all since we moved here and chose them. We’re shopping around, at the church too.

My dial up 25 years ago was better than this. Outrageous price for a blank service, they should refund everyone. By far the worst service I have ever had in my entire life, but they have the monopoly on the market. Especially with kids being required to work from home at times, they should be ashamed of offering this garbage.

Horribly overpriced, data caps, and my service drops for a few seconds every 20-30 minutes making any online gaming pretty much impossible. Worst ISP ever, seriously they make Comcast look like angels. Would give 0 stars if possible.

The internet is the worst thing to ever be conceived by greedy business men for decades. They go for the low hanging fruit and advertise to poor neighbor hoods where satellite internet is just to much to buy and give internet worse than anything I've ever seen. On the rarest of days I might be able to reach 2 Mbps but that is extremely rare. The company is just a bunch of greedy business men and If you can get better internet I would greatly suggest it, but if you can't I would say this is worse than having no internet but internet is internet and everything is online now a days. Their customer service is the worst even worse than an automated bot. Half the places this internet is available at they have not even upgraded the cables to the homes since 2002. If I had to chose between this internet and a internet provider thats much worse but is consistent with their WiFi speeds I'd gladly take the other company over Armstrong. I rate this internet 0/10 if you can buy anything else please don't give these corporate scum money.

They will not come out and install fiber optic at our house they completely skipped us and installed for people a mile away. They keep going towards smithville and ignoring us as well as lying straight to your face over the phone saying “we’re not ready to be hooked up” screw you Armstrong and you’re lucky you’re the only option here and I’m guessing that’s why they are deciding to take so long. Anyway they don’t even deserve one star but I can’t put any less. In conclusion if you have another choice for internet for the love of god don’t pick Armstrong you’ll regret it

Popping up no internet service, then wait for icon to select the internet serviceTry to do something and you can’t, then pops up you are not connected to theInternet. Have to wait again for the icon to select internet service, if it pops up at all.This is constantly.Last night was really bad, only thing I could get on was offline games.Then if it did take you to the site, you couldn’t do nothing.Plus the price increase doesn’t help when it’s already tohigh. Most of us in this community is on a fixed income to boot.Truthfully, I don’t know how much longer, I can keep up with it for no more money than I get.

Worst service ever. Way too exp for the b.s. service provided, or should I say NOT provided. Internet goes off randomly. Tech came out says he fixed it. 3 days later back to same b.s. Then they have the nerve to go up on my bill. I called and let them know they owe me a credit for having to deal w the b.s. since I signed up MONTHS ago. I was told I would get one no problem. I called back because they said they would give me a credit once it's fixed and they could look back and see how long the issue has gone one. I called and of course was met with more b.s. customer service blaming me for not having a tech come out a month ago. Told him let me speak to your supervisor. Puts me on hold...comes back with, " the maximum credit I can give to you is $5." F× u armstrong. See ya!

Thinking of switching to armstrong for internet service? Just don't. i really wish there was a rating button for extremely poor. they advertise 50m internet, which, i can see, in the best areas, when nobody else is on a fiber optic line, then you have to exaggerate some for the business, but it is absolutely frustrating to see flat out liars. i can push 5 mbps, on a very good day, when all other computers are off, and i pay 84.95 a month. these guys are pure scum that target areas where only satellite would be available, and offer service only a stone's throw from satellite in quality. the main problem? they are too lazy to replace the lines that have been in use since early to mid 2000s and blow off their customers.

Crappy internet connection, overpriced, and worst of all data caps. Not to mention this company has a monopoly on the California University of Pennsylvania area so I am forced to use this garbage quality service. I wish I could give this company negative star reviews

They throttle your internet, charge and outrageous amount, and they whitelist speed tests so it looks like you are getting 100mb/s yet as someone who knows computers very well I found a way to see what I’m actually getting and it’s roughly 10-20mb/s which is absurd!

You have got to be kidding me, this internet is a joke! Used to be good, but now it seems like they quit caring about customers. I used to get around 35 ping, 5 mb/s download, and .50 mb/s upload. Those arent great numbers in the first place, but they were enough for what i liked to do. Now i have around 135 ping, .25 mb/s download, and .20 mb/s upload. I can tell that this company is upsetting a lot of customers, SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE!!!!

The worst company in the history of the UNITED STATES - period! They can try and hide their historically poor online reviews but they can never hide from who they truly are - And that is a PRIME EXAMPLE of why monopolies were made illegal and any company who limits access to the internet or penalizes too much internet usage for short term financial gain should be stopped. I recommend anyone at all to report this company to the FCC. They are violating multiple regulations put in place by the United States Telecommunications Act of 1996. They require every customer to have a landline in order to receive internet service, which isn't physically required and is not allowed. It is mandatory for all ILECs to offer unbundled access to all network elements.

The telephone service stays up even during severe storms. The internet is mediocre at best and not serviceable at all at worst. The internet service phone contact is a joke, while they speak clear understandable english, they do little to fix problems and simply waste your time. Service personnel that come out (Russell!) do their best.

These guys are terrible. Sure, the set up is free, but you have a 200 gig cap, which is LOW, and if you go over you get billed extra anyways. It's a scam. I called and said something and got the classic scripted "I'm sorry for the inconvenience, sir, blah blah blah" and I'm not pleased with it.

Connection has been good for a while. It’s been going out randomly. It will say the wifi is still on but it’s not working. It was out all day yesterday and it’s still not working. I’m going to start a riot Armstrong.

Disappointed with my internet. It’s super slow and they keep increasing my bill. Unfortunately I live in an area with few internet suppliers 😞 i don’t recommend. I’ll be switching when i find another provider.

Absolutely terrible. I can’t even livestream a football match from England on here. Nobody in the house can try and use the internet at the same time. Don’t you think about getting this service. Absolutely atrocious.
