The Rabbit Hole is a gem and must visit spot in Harper’s Ferry. From the time we sat down , our server Cody took superb care of us. We had a great lunch with a beautiful view and also met the owner. Two of had burgers and one had an amazing salad with blueberries and walnuts.

My husband and I stumbled upon Harpers Ferry by accident and were quite impressed by this restaurant! Great selection of alcohol, the burgers are incredibly delicious and not greasy, and my salad was very filling! The burger was definitely the super star! 10/10Dietary restrictions: Keto friendly

We've been periodically visiting this location since it was The Secret Six, but haven't been by since it's been The Rabbit Hole unyil thia past weekend when we had family in town, and it's a great stop for some good food, excellent service (thank you, Coco!) and a new/old unique atmosphere. They had an excellent variety of craft bears from local and distant breweries. We popped in for Saturday evening dinner and had a 20min wait to eat outside, which is worth it. It was a clear but cool day so the little heat lamp in private outdoor pavilion was perfect. The food was hot, fresh and tasty, and even a mistake in the appetizer was admitted (before we said a word) and corrected. It was busy, but we were never forgotten or ignored and it was an overall delicious and pleasant dinner!Parking: The train station (NPS lot; pay or have a parks pass) and street parking (all paid) are your only close options and you have a snowballs chance in heck of snagging a spot Fridays and Saturdays after 9am or before 7pm. Your best bet is to park in the Harpers Ferry National Historical Park main lot off of 340 and take their shuttle (free) down to Lower Town.

The food was not great. We had the pretzels with cheese sauce that did not taste like cheese and was very watery. Then I had the chicken sandwich with guacamole and fries. The chicken was tasteless and the guacamole was not freshly made. Also, I think the portion of fries was small and greasy. Overall, two stars because the view was nice.Update: No I didn't ask for another plate. I think it should have been right the first time.

The atmosphere was nice lots of different signs and cool trinkets. When it came to the food it was great, the braised short rib poutine was nice and tender but it had a little bit more acidity than expected. The fish and chips were good the haddock was fried nicely while the chips were crispy with a soft interior. The chile lime wings were okay they had almost no lime taste and they were very sweet which was a little odd. When it came to the cobb salad it was nice and a great gluten free option. The wandertown cheesesteak was phenominal. Our server cody was amazing and really made us feel welcomed. Overall we had a wonderful experience and would be willing to come again.

We absolutely loved our visit. The area is beautiful and this little gem was the cherry on top. First off this place is very dog friendly and they brought our dog a fresh bowl of water which was very much appreciated. The food was good for a quick bite and we loved everything we got especially the loaded pork fries.. The hot chocolate was perfect on the chilly day. Service is top notch and this place will make you feel at home and relaxed after a hike around Harper Ferrys.

Loved our time here. We sat out back on the deck which overlooks the Potomac river and mountain side. They have a few plastic igloos with heaters that are comfortable. The beer list here is outstanding as was the service. There are allot of steps on the back side, but it worth it. The the pork shanks were tasty! 😋

Tasty lunch and the wall decor is an hour of entertainment. LolOur food was delicious. Great fries although the sweet potato fries were not as good as the regular. Beautiful view outside if you choose to sit out there. Looked like they had heaters but we came in to warm up. Took a while to get our food but we were hungry when we arrived. Large portions fyi.

Exploring the Rabbit Hole restaurant within Harpers Ferry National Park proved to be a delightful winter experience. The highlight was the translucent plastic bubble-covered Iglu setup in the terrace, providing a warm and cozy ambiance amid December chill. A must-try is asking for the Day's special from the menu – a culinary delight that adds to the unique charm of this scenic dining spot. We tried the french onion soup all cheesy and a treat to the taste buds. The waiter did introduce herself and was very friendly and professional in her service.

We went to the Rabbit Hole on a chilly Veterans Day Saturday night. If you visit in the fall or winter, make sure you dress warm or bring extra layers, because you might have to sit on their patio, because space inside is sparse. We wanted to sit inside but the host convinced us the patio would be a shorter wait and a suitable option because it is heated. While they try to provide propane heat for their patio, it is not enough to make temps below 50 feel comfortable. The cool breeze off the rivers and between the hills was uncomfortable. The Rabbit Hole seemed enticing from the looks of the menu and reviews. It looked like a cozy restaurant with a great atmosphere, a variety of drinks on tap and in the bottle, and satisfying entrees...so we had to give it a try. We nearly skipped it because the line seemed long earlier in the day as we walked around town. At dinner the wait was about 30 minutes to be seated. We started with Bavarian Pretzel Rods which got to our table quick along with our drinks. There were three large Pretzel Rods in the basket which was perfect for our group of three. The rods were soft and warm and pulled apart nicely for dipping. The rods came with a somewhat watery white cheddar dip which was not what we expected and not appealing, but edible. Our entrees took a long time to arrive, and we shivered in the cold while waiting even with two outdoor heaters near us. We dined on the Blue Ridge Burger, Cheddar Burger, and and Artichoke 'Crab Cake' Sandwhich. The Artichoke 'Crab Cake' Sandwhich was the most unique, and satisfying. We like to try creative menu items and this was one that shined. It tasted like actual crab yet was completely vegitarian, which vegitarians I'm sure would enjoy. It was a good option for my wife who is allergic to beef and pork. While the Crab Cake sandwhich stood out the others were just burgers, nothing amazing about them, but they were good. Unfortunately our fries became cold not long after they arrived on our table from the chilly weather and inadequate heat. Service was slow, no refills offered, and check took a while, and since we wanted to get off the cold patio faster swifter service would have been wonderful. I paid with cash and didn't wait for change because my fingers were frozen. We may stop there when it's warmer for the Artichoke Crab Cake Sandwhich again, but we may also find a better overall experience somewhere else. (My suggestion is that they enclose their patio with a retractable clear tent. Other restaurants have enclosures, and retract the covering during the warmer months.)Vegetarian options: Try the vegetarian Artichoke 'crab cake' Sandwhich. You'll be fooled by the texture and taste similarities to actual crab.

One of the best restaurants in Harpers Ferry serving delicious American food. Their fries are incredibly crispy and the Appalachian BBQ sandwich is probably the best dish they have. Their short rib poutine is also quite popular, and while it's not like a traditional poutine, their short rib melts in your mouth and the sweet potato is an excellent touch.Note that they usually run out of short ribs on Sundays after 2 PM since they receive their weekly shipments on Monday. They also have a nice selection of beers and alcohol. They have a small indoor dining space, but plenty of outdoor patio space. Only a few tables have space heaters, so if going in winter, make sure to dress accordingly. Our server, Kaleila, was fantastic! She was willing to split our check, checked in with us multiple times, provided great recommendations, and overall, made our dining experience memorable and enjoyable!

Went here for lunch for my birthday on our trip to Harper's Ferry. The food was delicious. We shared the loaded pork fries, I had the burger, and my husband had the chicken sandwich. We were pleasantly surprised to see that the side salads we got with our meal were very large. The place was super cute and trendy, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Overall a very positive experience. We would definitely return.

Great spot in Harper’s Ferry with a wonderful view! This place does get pretty crowded. On a rainy Saturday at 2PM we waited 40mins for a table. The hostess stand was a little chaotic. Many customers waiting outside mentioned they were getting varying wait times that often went longer than estimated. However - once we were seating the experience improved. Our waitress was so attentive and willing to offer beer recommendations. The service was quick too!

Stopped here for a quick snack, and it did not disappoint. We were quickly greeted by Liam who got us some cold beverages. He provided great service our entire visit. We only had beer, wings and fries but all were done right. Quality fries, wings were amazing. Crispy on the outside, but still juicy and flavorful on the inside. We had buffalo, old bay and garlic parmesan. Would recommend any of them.Oh, and the views from the balcony were pretty nice also!!!!

Beautiful views, cozy atmosphere, heating offered in the evenings, friendly staff (for most part), and good portions for paid price. Why am I giving 3 stars? Considering this is one of the few restaurants there for such high volume of visitors, it’s understandable there’s a wait line for about 15-20 mins for a table and waiters forgetting to bring an extra plate. However, receiving cold food (fries, wings) is not an excuse. That said, our waiter was offered to exclude the fries from the bill, which we appreciated.Kitchen definitely needs maintenance and some cleaning as well 🙈 Us, visitors could see food on the floors, stuck to pots and dishes while waiting in line for restrooms (those were clean!) - hopefully during the summer season things change for the better!Looking forward to visiting again.

Sweet spot with amazing views and outdoor space, eclectic vibe inside with seating and decor. We were sat quickly (inside in the a/c but only because it was 5,000 degrees out y'all!) Our server was a hustler and prego to boot. Loved her. We got the hummus plate which was delish; pita was a bit too fried and a little hard to eat but we managed. Ha! I got the artichoke crab cake and he got wings - both terrific. Enjoy!

We had an absolutely amazing lunch at the Rabbit Hole. The fish and chips (best I’ve ever had) and sweet potato fries were delicious. The IPA on tap was yummy and our table by the fire was perfect. Super cozy and warm atmosphere after a cold and windy hike up to the Maryland Heights overlook. Big shout out to Christy. our fantastic server! Highly recommend this gem.

It is one of the best restaurants in Bolivar. Locally sourced, fresh, and great tasting food with a busy and lively atmosphere. Parking can be a challenge, and there's a wait list, so be prepared to wait if it is during peak hours. They can be so busy that they cut off the wait list an hour before closing yet are still seating parties on the list minutes before their posted closing time. They have seating both inside and out on their deck with beautiful scenery. The wing basket was good, flavored well, and the chicken was moist. The cheddar burger was excellent. The fish and chips were excellent. Great crust, moist fish, and great flavors. The Braised Short Rib Poutine was absolutely excellent. The flavors just aligned like stars and came together to make an excellent dish. The Seasonal Greens Salad was excellent. The flavors are like a work of art with beautiful flavors coming together. The desserts were excellent, Artisanal Seasonal Cheesecake, Limoncello Mascapone Cake and the Flourless Torte. I highly recommend dining at the Rabbit Hole. Do plan for parking and waiting if going during peak times.Parking: Very limited parking for Bolivar without a good walk
