Unfortunately the Service was horrible. They don’t know what genuine hospitality is at this place. I went to have lunch with my parents. It was a seat yourself restaurant so we look for an empty table. Every single empty tables was not cleaned nor wipped. The waitress wouldn’t show up, neither greet or stop by. I had to go and approach the staff but they were only replying I am busy, I can’t help you now. When finally my waitress Kendra N, she was rude, very unpolite, unprofessional. I gave her our order right away. Other guests arrived after we did, and they started to get their food before we did. It had passed 50 minutes by the time we finally got our food. On top of that she gave me the wrong side that I didn’t want, so I didn’t eat it. In the menu the burger said it was 1/2lb burger. But I got 1/8lb burger instead. I work in the industry , and I am really aware of the sizes of the patties. And now that a couple of days had gone by. I check my bank and realized I have been charged additional money for the tip. What a scam and a horrible place to be! Never recommend this place. Please don’t ever eat or spend your money at this location.

I walked in with my family yesterday, which was a Monday between 1:30-2:00pm and the place was empty. The door to the business was open, but no one was downstairs. We went to the 2nd floor since we wanted patio seating anyways figured it was probably a walk up bar where we had to order. Upstairs, we ran into a young lady and I asked her if they were open. She said no and went on her merry way. We kinda just stood there confused. Their business hours online show they are open, but I got the feeling that they just didn't care for our business. It's a beautiful quaint town, and after a few hours of walking, we just wanted to take in the beautiful views and enjoy some nice local beer. I'm from Texas so I came a pretty long distance to see this nice town, but this business was a letdown. We took our business elsewhere and made the most of it.

It was good, i thought the margaritas were done well. I think it was a little high price wise for what we got, but that’s to be expected in a tourist town I guess. Everything was fine, but nothing was amazing. Service was friendly though, I would comeback.

Neat little place, (I do mean little) to get a bite to eat. It was a little warm inside due to open doors and the 90+ degree weather outside, but we cooled off the longer we sat. I asked the server to pick a beer for me to try, he chose a Royal Crush which was different for me but refreshing for the day. I had Quinns Reuben which was an interesting play on the classic sandwich. Instead of kraut and dressing it had slaw and a hash brown. Super delicious, I recommend for sure.Parking: There is a paid parking lot across the street from the restaurant. Or you can walk to it from the shuttle stop.

Had a really nice lunch here in April 2019. Sat upstairs and inside the dining room. Really cool layout. They preserved the old style of the building.The service was great. Our food came out quickly. The only issue was that the fries were old, but our server brought fresh fries out after we asked.We had the burger, cheesesteak,Reuben, turkey club and wings. Everything was so good! I'd highly recommend the burger. Had two different local beers, both were so-so (amber ale and lager). All in all, a great lunch and dinner spot. It probably gets really crowded during the tourist season though.

This place was great! We came in during the busy hours and the staff was on top of their game. I had a large, loud family and the waitresses were so accommodating.The building its self is very old and it just adds to the environment. The food and prices were great and no one left hungry. I would definitely recommend this place!

Nice little spot for a quick bite. Nothing fancy about the food but it’s very very quaint, has a nice atmosphere with courteous service. Would have given 5 stars but we orderedMac N Cheese for the kid but for what we paid for, we think they could have given him something better than Kraft’s boxed Mac N Cheese. I had the Pub Club with curly fries and it was tasty. While you’re there, grab a beer.

Came here hoping it might be better than I thought. First, the food is a little pricey for the food and environment you’re in. The server was nice, but we were served with paper plates for the appetizer (not shown) and paper cups. When I asked for a lid for my soup, they gave me a styrofoam coffee cup. We sat outside with plastic furniture as well, which was okay, but letting you know what you’re getting. I got the crab cake sandwich and it was okay. The server recommended it, but it was actually a bit dry and bland to me. We had the loaded fries for the app and that was pretty good. My boyfriend got the BBQ sandwich and it was also just okay. Lacked flavor in my opinion and was very greasy. Brought home the leftover sandwich and found TWO long hairs in it. Couldn’t eat it after that. I had also brought home my soup, that was actually good, and couldn’t eat it due to the thought of finding more hair. Our total bill (before tip) was $52 for his bbq sandwich, my crab sandwich, the appetizer, and one soda. I would try the other places nearby before going here.

First time at Almost Heaven and we were pleasantly surprised. They had a decent draft selection and several main menu items to choose from. The fried green beans with the chipotle ranch were absolutely amazing. The Reuben was great too- it was a unique take on a classic sandwich. We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and kind customer service.

After a 2 hour walk with the family this place was literally Almost Heaven. The staff were excellent and very friendly. I had my 3 children with me and the staff could not have been more accommodating and helpful. As a family we shared the pretzels, fish and chips, onion rings and cheesesteak. Not a crumb was left! We sat upstairs outside since the day was a perfect 75 degrees. We will return very soon!

Food is your average pub and grill food. Had the club sandwich and wife had the BLT. We were hungry and they fit the bill. Club is thick with meat but it's more a fat sandwich than a club because it only had two pieces of toast. Fries were decent as well. However our server Sienna was fantastic. Think she was the only one working and she was handling tables inside, outside, upstairs and downstairs but our drinks never went empty and she somehow found time to check on us from time to time. Service is why I gave 4 stars if food was a bit better I would have gave 5. It's a good place to grab a bite and a beer

My wife and I popped in to the Almost Heaven Pub and Grill for a quick bite to eat while visiting Harpers Ferry. I had the pulled pork sandwich and curly fries and it was excellent and hit the spot. Washed it down with a couple Budlights. The staff was very attentative and friendly. If you are visiting Harpers Ferry and just want to grab some eats to keep you going I recommend popping in here.

I went for a late lunch, and overall, it wasn't bad, but wasn't anything to brag about. I ordered the Potomac Blue (pictured) which was the best drink I had in the area so far. I go the Spinach Dip for appetizer, and the dip was incredibly delicious, but I wasn't given enough bread to finish the dip off. The veggie delight sandwich was a really good vegetarian/vegan option (if you order without the cheese). I got a side of onion rings, and they were too crispy for my liking, but that's a personal preference that I can't knock them for.The main qualm I had was the timeliness of service. We finished our appetizers before we ordered our entrées, and it took a while to get our waters. It was a busy afternoon, so it's understandable, but tables that arrived the same time as us got their apps/meals/checks before us.

My husband and I went for lunch at around 2:15 and both ordered the cheese steak subs. Our food didn't arrive till 45 minutes later, but what upset me was that 3 other tables that were seated some time after us were served first. I raised this with the server and told them I wasn't happy but they just said they would chase the kitchen. When the food finally arrived it was cold. They were clearly understaffed both in the kitchen and on the wait staff side.In addition, there were cobwebs in outdoor area and also the same on the railings at the back entrance.

I can't imagine worse service from any place. We were told there wasn't any available outdoor seating, even though we pointed out a table. We were told it was in use, though no one sat there.We ordered an appetizer of wings. These never came. We didn't get drinks refilled unless we hunted down the server.Food was meh.When time to leave, it took us way too long to pay. We had to find the server (talking to friends/fellow servers) and ask for our check. Server couldn't handle four separate payments, mixed up credit cards, couldn't count change back as cash.

*** If the owner is monitoring these reviews, you have a problem with at least one of your employees there. ***Decent menu. Waitress messed up my bill with extra food and drinks. She appeared to be surprised by the additions (I don't understand how that could be). The bill was corrected and I adjusted my tip accordingly (15% instead of 20%).A day later my credit card data (now reported stolen) was used in a local Charles Town grocery store. They tried 4 times and the transactions were all declined. I did not use my card anywhere else in Harpers Ferry. Sure seems like retribution to me. Or there is some other racket to steal credit cards due to an employee with a problem?Either way, I would not return.

Absolutely loved this place. The building was really cool. We sat at the bar upstairs and had the best bartender. You can tell all the workers love each other. Singing and dancing and having a great time , even though they were busy. Will definitely be back to hang out more the next time we are in town. Oh , and my drink was the bomb !!!!

Awesome service for a group of 18 hikers. Perfect spot for a sandwich and a couple of local brews. Not amazing food, but good. Served beers in ice cold glasses, appreciated that. Great outdoor seating and views!
