Had a lovely experience at Still Hollow after stopping in on a whim when we saw the Distillery sign. It sure did not disappoint.A true local distillery, who sources their ingredients from native plants in the region and local businesses (and gardens!).We did a tasting - everything was delicious and Maggie took us through the tasting notes and history of each liquor. The IPA collab with Big Timber brewing was a real unique taste experience - I've never heard of someone distilling a beer into liquor!Highly recommend stopping by. The bottles are very reasonably priced for a small batch distillery.

Not a whiskey/bourbon guy, but my travelling buddy this past vacation is and had stopped here previously so he took me along to check it out. Fascinating stop and an amazing little distillery out in the middle of nowhere with all locally sourced ingredients. Since we were the only ones there, we got a brief tour and were allowed to walk around and check the place out. I got to sample some of the syrup while my buddy got a pretty generous tasting session and we had a good chat with the older guy who was working there about everything from bourbon to skiing. Wound up buying some syrup because it was so good and can't wait to try it with some waffles at home!Staff seems incredibly knowledgeable and dedicated to their craft and had tons of information on the local area, even told us about their spring out back and let us take some photos. Really fun little stop even if you aren't a drinker. Unfortunately they didn't have any of the bourbon soaked coffee beans because the person that made them went out of business. As a coffee enthusiast, I would have loved to have been able to try some of those.

We ran into the owner of this awesome little place, while eating at one of the local restaurants. We aren’t drinkers, but we were so glad that we adventured our way into the Hollow. The gentleman who was working that evening didn’t complain that we showed up at almost closing time, nor that several people showed up right behind us. Instead he took his time with us, explained the processes they use for making the different spirits, and even let us taste some of their famous syrup! I was super excited to find locally sourced, bourbon soaked coffee beans, of which I am having a delicious cup right now! I hear their ginseng honey spirits are also famous. We LOVE the syrup and highly recommend visiting this cute little distillery.

We were visiting the area from Ohio. We paired this with a visit to Honey River Winery. And you should too. Both 5 star stops. The drive here was absolutely gorgeous. Service friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. I learned so much! Im not a huge whiskey drinker but actually enjoyed all of them. Definitely a must stop.

We had an excellent visit yesterday with Tony. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. My husband is more into whiskey than I am but I still enjoyed the experience and tasting. The one I enjoyed most was the Elderberry Spirits. They’re also dog friendly! Mine sat (mostly) patiently under the bar inside with us. We went home with some bottles, and their syrup I can’t wait to try on some pancakes! Great visit all around.

Unexpectedly stumbled upon this distillery on the way home from spruce knob in 2021. The owners are super kind and welcoming. Their facility is beautiful. I think my favorite part was visiting the natural spring on their land. They also have great merchandise and their booze is really good.

Amazing place. The master distiller let us sample his entire collection of spirits. He gave us a history lesson of his distillery and about the local area. We bought over 250$ of liquors it was that good! Try the Maple Corn Whiskey! This place is a must-try!

Still Hollow was a wonderful experience. I messaged them on Facebook a week ahead to schedule a visit and tasting, but I think anyone can just walk in and do a tasting and talk with the distillers.I was amazed at how knowledgeable the team was about their products and the process, and was very impressed with their desire to use resources that were native to West Virginia. We were sad that they only had some of their drinks available to sell (the whiskey is so that they sell out in just a few days), but they did keep sample bottles out for us to taste. And it's definitely worth a visit just to get a bottle of their maple syrup (so good!).

Really good product...good tasting at Distillery ..small place literally up a dirt road old farm house and barn.... Their syrup on pancakes take hotcakes to another level. Mixed a bit of their maple bourbon syrup in the glass with some bourbon and ice....nice smokey front....sweet finish....Really enjoyed their gin

Every drink you'll sample is delicious, smooth, and easy-drinking. Not only do you get to taste all of their spirits, they'll give a tour of the process and their story behind the distillery; it's a true authentic experience and not one to miss! It is worth driving out of the way for. You won't be disappointed!

Amazingly cute, tiny distillery up in a hollow in Job, WV. Tyler was full of great information about his operation, and offered tastes of every product. Fine distilled spirits made with local ingredients.

Fantastic distillery right off the beaten path. Tony gave me a full rundown, was very knowledgeable and personable. Allowed me to taste what I wanted. Would recommend if you want a taste of West Virginia. Picked up two bottles during the visit.

A must visit if you are in the area! I felt like we saw and tasted a hidden gem of pure West Virginia spirits and history. The drive to the site is beautiful, and the barn is so well done. The craftsmanship and quality of the spirits are too notch. The corn whiskey was the biggest surprise, such a smooth organic flavor. The gin was phenomenal as well. We could have easily purchase one of every bottle! They are unique in the way the approach the entire process, and we couldn’t have been more happy to support a family and company like theirs. These are the types of distillers that you feel good supporting. Local, heirloom grains and water right out of the mountain. Thank you Still Hollow for a really incredible experience and drink. We are looking forward to visiting and stocking up in the future!

I was gifted a bottle of their honey bourbon 2 years ago and have wanted to get down here ever since! I came here today on vacation and sampled some of their crafted whiskies and gin....superbly crafted, hints of herbs and all delightfully local sourced ingredients. The owner was extremely courteous and knows her way ! The crafted spirits are robust, pleasant to the nose with luscious aromas and finely crafted! A destination that must be visited whilst traveling to West Virginia!

This place is great! The gin blew us away---plenty of juniper and conifer lend a "classic" gin profile, but they give it their own local twist that makes it stand out. The bourbon barrel aged maple syrup is also amazing, and it makes a phenomenal maple old fashioned. The guy who walked us through the tasting was super nice. Still Hollow is worth a special trip, but bring cash or a check to pay for your purchase!

We visited Still Hollow Spirits on the suggestion of a local we met at Picnic Taco, who just happens to be the owner. We are so glad we ventured out to this neat little distillery! The gentleman who was working that evening was so kind and knowledgeable and spent a lot of time teaching us about the different processes for the different alcohols. It was a very interesting trip, and we were so lucky to find local coffee beans and some of their famous syrup! You need to get some of this syrup! I even bought some as gifts!

This is a WV gem! We stop in here multiple times per year to stock up on various tasty liquors and their maple syrup and honey are fantastic! Love hearing about the history of distilling in WV and the process today. So many interesting seasonal varieties makes it a great stop year round!

Saw their sign and decided to stop by on a whim - so glad we did! It was really cool to see the springwater they use and learn about the history of their distillery. Loved the tasting and definitely will be back next time we're in the area.

I was very excited to visit Still Hollow and it did not disappoint! It was an easy drive down from where a group of us were staying at Canaan Valley resort. Thanks to the owners Maggie and Athey, we learned a lot about distilling, the farm-to-bottle process, and got ourselves some perfect bourbon Christmas gifts! Great location and setting for a true West Virginian experience.

Worth the drive off the beaten path!!! My only regret is that I only bought two bottles of the bourbon!! Really enjoy the flavor. Go there. Do a tasting and enjoy their excellent products.

Great experience and visit to this distillery. Great location and well worth the drive off the main road. This is grassroots stuff as God intended whiskey to be made. Local sourced products and water from spring nearby. Down to earth owners in seemingly no rush to sell product. This is small business at its finest. .... And the bourbon smooth and smoky! If anywhere remotely close check 'em out.

Still Hollow Spirits is a great place to visit if you are in the Canaan Valley/Seneca Rocks area of WV and are interested in sampling and learning about the process of making their farm to bottle small batch whiskeys and gin. Their maple syrup alone is well worth the trip. Set aside an hour and check them out...you won't regret it!

This was most definitely the most authentic experience of this type that I have had. The owners, Maggie and Athey, are so genuine in their approach to making their product perfect. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to taste some amazing bourbon and learn about the distillery process from a true chemist. It's only been around for about a year, so it was awesome to see how it's evolving into a success business already. Be sure to swing by and buy a bottle and a shirt!

Great little family owned distillery tucked away in a hollow near Spruce Knob. The owner(Athey) was very friendly and informative while pouring samples of their locally sourced spirits. They had corn whiskey, gin, and maple bourbon barrel rested corn whiskey available when we visited. All 3 were great and we even got a taste of local maple syrup rested in bourbon barrels. If they only served pancakes... lol. I'm looking forward to returning when the rye whiskey and bourbon is ready!

Such a great fun experience! The location is beautiful. The owners Maggie and Athey were very sweet and knowledgeable of the whole distilling process. You can even purchase your own bottle to take home. Highly recommend this place. Definitely something to mark off your bucket list!
