I used to love Green Bank DG, I thought they were one of the best stores.....until yesterday. They have a guy working there that will throw your items in a bag, not pay attention to your total (even after specifically asking), gets mad that you use coupons, gets mad at the customer for it being so late (even though the customer was in line by 25 till.....with 3 people in front of me and 1 more let in front of me by said cashier), and give serious attitude but says things with a nice tone then says he doesn't have attitude. Also, the manager stands right there and allows it to happen. She could've stepped in, seeing his behavior, but instead just stood there allowing it all to transpire. If you're going to work in a store, be prepared! You know you're not getting out right at 10pm, especially on coupon day....definitely don't stand there and berate the customer saying they should've been there earlier!!!!!! I hope DG sees this and my reviews and does something! I won't be back to that store!! And such a shame as that's such a nice area.

Clean restrooms and friendly staff. The cashier was very happy to tell me about some of the more interesting things about town, like how her building was essentially a Faraday cage, so that frequencies couldn't escape and interfere with the operation of the telescope. I never thought a Dollar General could be interesting, but here we are.

A very good place to buy any things especially if you go skiing at Snowshoe. Groceries are super super expansive near the Snowshoe. You should buy it here.

This is the top dollar general store thst I have been in within 7 states I hsve travel to. The staff is the elite, led by one of the most amazing people in the world. The store manager is the utmost best management person. She is totally worth twice her weight in gold and silver. I highly recommend if you are in the area stop here and buy something, you won't regret it.

I go to the Dollar General stores often because of the convenience of the locations of the store and they have a variety of things. They are more than a milk and bread store.
