This place is a disgrace. I've been a nurse since 1982 and never experienced this lack of care and lack of knowledge in a hospital. Came in having chest pain(already had widow maker heart attack and a brain bleed.) Sat at admin answering questions, in between the woman answering the phone and being interrupted by others. 3 hours later, still no doctor. But 6 staff members eating and hanging out at the station. Brought me pills just to throw in the trash since they didn't read I already took some....this is my first and last time there...

Ever since this place became part of WVU it really went down hill. That it's all about the money it used to be more one on one now it's like they don't care about the patients and they are trying to become like Morgantown which they never will be. I'm not saying everyone here is bad but those I have encountered are so RUDE. It's not one on one anymore they don't care all they see is the dollar signs. 2/12/24 well we've been here now 2 hours & 20 mins to be seen in er we've watched ppl go in & out not use this place is worse then Wetzel County Hospital

✨Very satisfactory experience at Reynolds Hospital during a surgery in Autumn. The overall ambiance is friendly, helpful, professional and kind. The nurses, anesthesiologist, etc. treated me well from prep to discharge🙂, which all patients know, is ✨paramount.✨My only complaint is that my surgeon/ doctor, Dr. Chung, speaks much too briefly👎 with patients and patients' families, post-surgery. In contrast, my surgeons at WMC and Trinity Hospital provided unhurried, thorough explanations. Other than that aspect of my healthcare, he is a seasoned, competent doctor. 👍Thumbs up to this medical experience at a hospital not too far away from where I reside in diminutive yet bustling🏔🏞🏔🏞🏔🏞🏔 New Cumberland, WV of Appalachia🌲

There is a huge problem with ER staff, response, accountability. People need to file official complaints everytime they have an awful experience. Will never go to the ER again. Looking into a lawsuit now. They can't keep getting away with this.

This place is a joke. I sat in the waiting room for 2 hours with a neck injury. People who had an ear infection went back before me even when showing up after me. I was told “Their issue is more serious” then she shut the window on me. I won’t be back here. The only plus side was the Dr. helped me with what I needed and was nice.

Nurses are suppose to be a pillar of the community a safe haven someone who cares no matter what your situation willing to help others in their time of need. A true nurse is a caring loving nurse a pill pusher is just there for the money. Reynolds employs, Lindsay Podlasiak, a nurse who trolls social media making untrue statements about people she does not know. She already had a business shut down because of these post (I'd be a bit scared she will do that to you). She will sleep with your husband then your Dr, hopefully he doesn't spill your business. She hides behind her husband's Facebook that he doesn't have access to. Always hiding because she knows its wrong if she is a liar there she is a liar everywhere. Stop throwing rocks when you live in a glass house. When you speak of people and their children don't forgot all the ones you took out on your own. I feel people like this is a danger to our communitys mental health. I sure don't want to be looking over my shoulder wondering what is up her sleeve next. I know I will not be using Reynolds as long as she works there.

Behavioral health outpatient office is a joke. One Dr falls asleep when you talk to him and the other is very rude and makes fun of patients. He didn't even let me talk. Office window to sign in is open everyone can hear everyone business. They sit and talk about people and window is wide open Receptionist are snooty I heard a lady tell them that she couldn't come at the time lady gave. Receptionist said well that's why they are appointments. I was treated poorly made remarks about my grandfather to me.

Sister went to the ER by ambulance bc she’s so weak she can’t walk and is dizzy and vomiting. On arrival, Dr carney is refusing to do a head CT. He said he has 6 hours to do it. He would not listen to our concern for possible stroke like I’ve seen with my patients in the past. I called the nursing supervisor who told me she called security!! I never cussed, never threatened anyone, not raised my voice or went outside the room for anything. If she did have a stroke, she can’t be treated if it’s been over 90 minutes from symptom onset. Nursing supervisor didn’t come to speak to us in person. Physician won’t listen. Must be because I’m female. I’m noting all the times, RMH, because these people will be sued. It’s horrible how they are treating my sister who works hard and has blue cross.

This place is horrible. Horrible bedside manner, horrible care, horrible rooms. No ac in my husbands room so they brought him a fan. Yea it’s 90 something degrees but a fan should work. Accused of smoking in his room by a nurse who said she “saw” me smoking a vape. Too bad I don’t smoke a vape. Horrible experience and I will make sure the appropriate people hear all this. Don’t send anyone you care about here because you will be highly disappointed. If I could give them zero stars I would!

I had an outpatient procedure done yesterday. The nurses were all phenomenal! From the very beginning getting me prepped for surgery, the the ones taking my back to the operating room, in the operating room, and in recovery! All had smiles, were so sweet, and patient. I couldn't have asked for better treatment. Not to leave out the anesthesiologist and doctor as well!

The staff is hard to get do anything. For example if you ask for a cup of coffee it will take 2 hours and they get an attitude if you ask them. They just want to stand around and talk with each other they would rather socialize than do their job

I was admitted on 12/29/22 to 01/05/23 for Acute Exacerbation of Asthma. I am not one to go to the hospital unless I am left with no other choice.The Nurses on the 2nd floor were solid professionals, confident, & caring. Knowing the RN caring for me has all the medical facts about me made me keep from having anxiety about my medicines & treatments. The nurses were compassionate.The PCT’s were on incredible. . They made sure to assist me with politeness & modesty. I had to use a bedside commode & my concern was for my own modesty. The PCT’s took extra time to ensure I was always covered & never exposed. Such a relief. I was greeted each time with a smile.Occupational Therapy was in my room every morning assisting me & giving me tips on how to get my physical strength back. It was done on a personal level & I felt like I was truly cared about. I felt motivated.Physical Therapy was in my room every morning. They greeted me with smiles, enthusiasm, & reassurance. It felt like every success I had was a success for them, alsoRespiratory Therapy was in & out of my room several times a day. Each time, I was greeted with smiles & confidence.The Lab professionals were quick & polite.IV Therapy had to deal with me because my veins are not easy to find. This causes me great anxiety but the professionals were on the job & they got the MedLine in & I felt relieved.Dietary is amazing. I’m a Diabetic & the food choices were fantastic & it actually was good. They were friendly & polite over the phone. I could feel her smiling on the other end of the conversation.Housekeeping! Polite. They asked me if it was a good time to clean my room each day they came in. Smiles, and thank you’s each time they left. They were quick but very thorough.The day I was admitted there was a person who came in & was asking me if I lived alone or had help if I needed it. I think she was a Social Worker but I was so sick at the time I can’t recall. At the time, I thought to myself they must want me to get out of here as soon as possible. But the real truth is simply this : FROM START TO FINISH THIS WAS A VERY COHESIVE TEAM DOING EVERYTHING IN THEIR POWER TO GET ME WELL & BACK HOME ASAP. Thank you Wvu Hospital / Reynolds for giving me the very best of the best care. .

The staff is so rude. Specifically in orthopedics. They are not considerate for the hearing impaired. They have the snoody twang in their words when they talk. And lord have mercy when they answer the phones, 😳!My mother in law just had a full knee replacement and she is also 95% dead WITH hearing aids.Even after being told she couldn’t hear, they spoke very soft, getting agitated when told she couldn’t hear them, and the ladies at the patient check in at orthopedics.I think they need taught better manners and how to be understanding.!Absolutely horrible.Do NOT recommend!!

I can’t thank the staff at the hospital for the care I received last weekend. Arrived at the ER feeling pretty stinking bad. They jumped on it and I was in surgery later in the day. The nurses on my floor were awesome. I hope not to be a repeat customer but this was a great place to go for repairs😉

I went to med express and tested positive for Covid 19 they sent me to remolds memorial for a chest X-ray and to look at my heart after I told them that they said why did they send you hear I repeated it again they said those are easily things that they can do idk why they sent you hear the place is so unprofessional rude and they don’t wanna do there job worst part is they didn’t take my insurance at the beginning they said they would get it at the end and I have really good union insurance place need to do some firing and rehiring maybe hire some people from med express in glen dale im a local coal miner and it’s sad to no I keep the lights on for people like this

We have had several experiences over the last 30 years with Reynolds and nearly all have been top-rate. Our last experience was July 2022 and they were overcrowded but that is not their fault. They gave good care as best they could until they could get us into a room. I would not hesitate to go back if needed.

ER Doctor and staff were kind and compassionate. My wife's issues was clearly identified, treated and we were back home in just a few hours. Puts the ER in Ferry to shame in our experience.

Been waiting for my 2 year old brother to get seen for 5 1/2 hours. We were in the waiting room for 3 1/2 hours and been in a room for over 2. Doctor came in over an hour ago and and said he needed a flu swab and nobody has even bothered to come in and swab him.

Waited two hours before we saw a nurse, then waited another two hours for a nurse only for her to tell us we had to stay overnight because in her exact words “I went to grab him 45 minutes ago and he never came”. Then they had no rooms available, so we were forced to sleep in plastic recliners. Wouldn’t go here if my life depended on it.

Please utilize this facility when you can. I highly recommend it especially after my last experience at Wheeling Hospital ER.Had gone to Reynolds the day before to get my mothers labs done and was quick in and out. I know this is not always the case but with the closing of OVMC and EORH the staff still does a GREAT job. They only have so much space and room so sometimes waits are inevitable so please bear with them too. They are a very kind compassionate group willing to go above and beyond If I need the services of an ER too it will definitely be here as well

My daughter was having pain in her pelvic area along with some stomach issues. Got in right away, doctors and nurses were so sweet to my little girl. Went easy and fast. Only issue was they didn’t have a liquid antibiotic to give my daughter there but we got a script and were on our way!

Pray you don't have to spend the night with one of your kids in an er room all night. You will get told we will get you a recliner so you can sleep in but yet it never shows up. Rooms are freezing and blowing cold air and not heat in the winter time. Has been a long day and night. Also can't go sleep in your car which has reclining seats because your child is a minor but yet stay in this uncomfortable room which is freezing cold then have to drive the next day on no sleep. What a joke this place is

If you had to pick between going to this hospital and using dirty equipment on the side of the road, go with the dirty equipment on the side of the road. I had no other choice, but to go here when I was having issues. The lady to checked me in was rude and the doctor and his friends sitting outside the room, weren't any better. The room I was given had a dirty bed, the bathroom was dirty, and I legit say and listened to the doctors laugh and talk about life while I waited on them - and no it wasn't because they were busy, they were just too busy talking..And then I was billed for the same thing twice - in which I called about it, but the lady said there are two separate things but billed with the same name....oddAgain, go with the dirty equipment on the side of the road. It'll probably have a better personality as well.
