The Bantam market has been a lifeline for Gary and Welch areas throughout my entire life of these 52 years I've lived. Which I'm now currently a resident of the neighboring County I still at times find myself back in the areas visiting family.I would really like to see the Gary Bantam return to its old glory with the large selection of groceries they used to carry. They had s very nice small full service groceries store there for years before the economy fell.With that changing now and the growth it has seen combined with the addition of Hatfield McCoy trail systems bringing in so many riders and bust economical impacts make. The area would really do good with the return of the small town grocery.

Very friendly employees and great food and all around ideal, wonderful, quick service, southern hospitality, type country store!!!!!!oh and no offense to anyone by this but if ur not from this area well dont be taking it as flirting or offensive or get a big head, We always call people honey, darlin, babe, or sweetie, etc. That's how we are raised to be god blessed, sweet, southern, country, we say thank u and please an ur welcome, loving, very friendly, backwoods, where the blacktop ends, kinda people that love to be friendly and feed anyone!!!! Prices are a little higher than expected, but the service is wonderful. They even offered to carry my bag to the car when they saw I was carrying my 1 year old.
