I love the employees. They're all friendly and helpful. The produce and meats are awful! The cucumbers are consistently squishy which is very frustrating as I love cucumbers and can never find a decent one there. I bought a head of lettuce on 4-10-2024 and when I opened it at home it was full of what looked like Aphids, both dead and alive.

Possibly the friendliest shopping experience you'll ever have. Old-fashioned market packs a lot into its small space, including a deli. Their community-centered approach is illustrated by services like a daily lunchtime menu of full meal takeout for the hard-working locals. A real positive presence in town.

Best chili dogs around. The deli hot bar is good. They have a great selection of house sliced cheeses and lunch meats. The meat section has great deals and quality products. Everyone on staff are friendly and helpful. Only downside is prices on the rest of the store are pretty high but that's to be expected from a small-town. They have to make a profit with the logistics of big chains.

Franklin Great Valu is a convenient place for such a little area. They have also changed their name to "T & K Markets"It's a family owned store. Very friendly & helpful Services! We enjoy them in these parts. :)

Overall, it's a nice grocery store for our small town. The meat department is excellent and always willing to help you out! I wish they would get bigger quantity of individual bags of seasoned flower and a bigger selection of different kinds of breads!

I've been passing through Franklin for many years and never stopped in the GV. It's kinda hidden with a steep parking lot that looks to be fun in the Winter! They have a great selection of the usual items and more. I found CANNING jar lids in abundance 😃

Great grocery store in small town Franklin. They have an excellent meat and produce selection at very reasonable prices. The deli chilli dogs are amazing! The only con is that aside from produce and meat a lot of the other items are priced higher than you'd find elsewhere. Also, they still have bagboys and cashiers!

Providing a variety of food with several healthy food options. The best part is the variety and freshness of the veggies. As a tourist that frequents Franklin (LOVE this town) it's great to have real food options. It didn't get 5 stars because it lacks a variety of gf and specialty items that I'm accustomed to buying in larger cities.

Wide selection of local meat, fresh produce, frozen, dry and canned goods, desserts, picnic supplies, an excellent deli and a decent stock of beer and wines, all at reasonable prices. The early Sunday closing time can be challenging if you're hiking, biking, climbing or fishing, but they're open early and the friendly staff more than makes up for any inconvenience on the other six days of the week.

The very little turn over in employees tells us that Franklin Great Valu is a good place to work, they treat employees and customers wonderfully. Recently I have been delighted to find a long list of specialty items which I use in my Thai cooking. I have long bought Stony Field non GMO milk and yogurt there and I love the brand of goat cheese they sell.

Some refrigerated or other perishable items (e.g., fruit, etc.) are spoiled or rotten. I bought 2 rolls of breakfast sausage and both of them were rotten--they smelled terrible when I opened 'em @ home and the store's too far away to go back to simply ask for an exchange or refund. I don't know who's fault it was--the company that made it or the store's fault for not keeping it well refrigerated.

This store does not remove expired items from selves. In addition produce items are also keep on shelves despite the fact items are pass their freshness date. Often produce items are often rotting and should be have been remove.

As always clean ,with a helpful staff and well organized shelves .Bag boys are always helpful and will even help older folks load their items into the car.Having a Great Valu in town is a really a great help.
