Service was a little slow, but it became clear why when our order came. Each plate was made completely fresh. If you want something to come out in 5 minutes, go to Starbucks for a frozen breakfast sandwich. Even their pickles are house made.I got the breakfast sandwich - it had a delightful sweet & spicy jam on it. I subbed out the sausage for avocado :)They are currently on a limited menu but were able to sub out things like avocado and tater tots for the greens.Vegetarian options: They had a vegan burger

Such a cute place!! My husband enjoyed his chai latte, and my vanilla iced latte was pretty good as well. We both enjoyed our breakfast (we both got the American), the bacon was fantastic and the breakfast potatoes were delicious and crispy!!Update: we ended up going back a few days later for lunch which was also absolutely delicious!! Their chicken sandwich was just phenomenal, and we tried their iced Spanish latte, the barista was so friendly!! Definitely recommend!!

A wonderful gem located right in the heart of downtown Fayetteville. The outside is very unassuming given that it's located inside of a former residence. But the inside is done up very well and with a vibe that fits its location. It also provides outdoor seating on fair weather days and a menu with enough options to have more than one favorite. Today was my first time visiting, and I had the burger. It may well be the best burger in town, and the visit will surely not be my last. The service was great, and the food came out quickly. Do not miss an opportunity to give this place a try on your next time through.

Absolutely love Wood Iron! Their rockfish sandwich is delicioussss and the lemon vinaigrette that comes on the side of greens is SO good!Went there for a waffle recently and it also did not disappoint. So good!Artsy decorations and outdoor/indoor seating. Go support local!Vegetarian options: Awesome tofu scramble!Parking: Big parking lot right next to it!

Food was delicious. Coffee was wonderful and they had some interesting options I haven't seen other places. And this place is really cool inside and out! There's great art on the walls and the building itself is a cute house off the road. This was a great gem out in mountain country. Almost heaven indeed ❤️Parking: Fair warning: Google is wrong about how to get in this place. You'll probably have to drive around behind and come up the other side to park.

If we would have visited only once my review would have been 5 stars. Our first visit was dine in. I got the house granola and my husband got a handheld. Our food came out quickly even though they were busy. I thought the granola was great although it lists cayenne honey but I did not detect any cayenne at all. Cayenne is one thing I can usually taste no matter how little is in a recipe. The bowl was a good size. There was plenty of fruit, almonds, granola and yogurt. My husband got a handheld and really enjoyed it. He said the pepper jelly really made a difference.Based on our experience on our first visit, we decided to get takeout on our way out of Fayetteville. This time both my husband and I ordered the house granola. Again it was busy. We noticed that a couple who came in after us and ordered two handhelds to go got their food before us. A bit after they left, one of the girls at the counter noticed us and asked if we were waiting for food. I said yes and that people who ordered after us already got their food. She checked and we finally got our order. When we opened our containers, I was so disappointed. The takeout house granola was about 1/2 of what I got for dine in. There was a folded piece of foil lining the container and as you can see in my photo they skimped on the fruit, nuts, etc. With the foil lining the container, it made it hard to get all the yogurt out, some of which had seeped over the sides and underneath. For the two house granola plus tip, we paid $21. Based on what we got, we should have only paid 1/2 of that. The first time I had the granola, I didn’t need to eat lunch for 5 hours after. With the takeout portion, I was still a bit hungry and we had to stop about two hours into our trip home to get lunch. If you want to try out the Wood Iron Eatery and want the house granola, make sure you dine in.

I love chicken and waffles. These were okay but a little disappointing. The waffle must have had to wait while the chicken cooked because the chicken was very very hot but the waffle was room temperature. Waffles are much better served hot. Also, the waffle batter could use a pinch of salt and maybe a touch of vanilla as the waffle was rather flavorless. My wife had the loaded tots. These reinforced my assertion that toppings are better saved for fries. Tots just don't hold up to the flavors of the toppings. That said, they use the flat "rounds" rather than traditional tots so they do handle toppings a little better but still results in a mediocre dish. While the service was responsive, the staff spent a disproportionate amount of time bantering with each other rather than interacting with customers which makes you feel a little out of place there. One young woman was so loud that we finally decided to move our meal to an outside table. She yelled to other staff and sang constantly as if she really wanted everyone's attention on her all the time. We (and at least one other party, as they moved outside when we did and commented on her behavior) are determined to not eat there when she's working.

First time here. It was crazy busy, which we thought was a good thing. The menu is very limited. They do have a good selection of coffees to choose from. We ordered 2 different breakfast options. My real disappointment was in the home fries. They were chopped up tater tots. I really expected traditional potatoes. It was very loud inside the restaurant but does offer outside seating. We probably won't go back, but it would be worth a try if you're in the area.

Outstanding, stellar coffee served with a big ol smile! I dropped into this joint after seeing a very positive vlog review of their coffee from The Adventures of A+K on YouTube. They never steer me wrong with places I've visited based off their recommendations, and this was no different.I must apologize though, as I don't remember the name of the amazing barista who made my drink nor do I remember the name of the drink. I told her I wanted something strong, cold and bold, as I was about to begin my trek to the Mothman Museum in Point Pleasant, then off to Cincinnati. I needed fuel for my journey! I do know the drink had about 4 shots of espresso in it but she put her own little twists and touches on it. Let me tell you, it was phenomenal. Thank you friend, for the wonderful drink and the great hospitality. I hope to visit again one day, because the food looks awesome!(I have to say though, finding the location was a bit challenging. Google maps took me around the block a couple times before I realized the spot is located up a hill. I'm sure I was incorrect where I parked but I ended up parking down the hill, off the main street and walking up from there. Look for the white building on top of the hill!)

This place is EXTRAORDINARY! We stayed in town for the weekend and ate here twice. They have a small assortment of breakfast, brunch, and lunch items, as well as a cafe with homemade drinks. A handful of vegan and vegetarian options! We loved the tofu scramble, oatmeal, and the blueberry waffle. The drinks were high quality and easy to customize with plant-based milk. The baristas/servers are so nice and helpful. If the weather is nice, you can sit on the patio, which is dog-friendly!Vegetarian options: Plant based milks can be requested for drinks. Lots of menu items are vegetarian.

Wood Iron was great! My fiancé and made a last minute decision on our way to Cathedral Cafe to go to Wood Iron for breakfast. We loved the place upon entry. It was clean, the staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the outside seating was nice. The atmosphere is fun and laid back. The coffee and food was tasty! Their fennel sausage and aged maple bacon were amazing! Try the loaded tots...wow!Kid-friendliness: The little playground was a lot of fun for the kids.

Fantastic experience at Wood Iron Eatery! The food was delicious and they easily accommodated my wife’s celiac (they have gluten free bread as an option). The staff were super friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend!

Good was incredible. I never had a cortada before, it was really good! I also had the big burrito. Staff was really kind enough to modify because I don't eat Ham. I substituted. Good was delicious and would definitely come back next trip!Vegetarian options: They will substitute to vegetarian options for you.

I liked this place a lot. Super friendly staff and good food, just expensive for the area. Stuffed full of college-aged folks, but you had a good mix of older families in there too. I got the Green Bowl, and it wasn’t ingenerous in size (and of course, it tasted great), but one would expect some sort of grain to be included for $11 - maybe quinoa or bulgar or something like that. Ah well - salads are expensive because they sour quickly, I get it. Other than that, expect to wait in line for 5-10 minutes to order (maybe even out the door), but to have your food delivered in a fairly quick manner - the cooks and baristas really are pumping out orders as best they can. You’ll have drip coffee before the end of your order, lattes soon after, food about 7-10 minutes after that. The gist of this place? Good food served by very friendly staff to younger folk who expect higher prices because they’ve ordering more perishable food (such as avocado toast) anyways.Side note: Bacon is candied (i.e baked with sugar), so if you can only stand crispy bacon, just ask for it off instead of bothering the cashier for two minutes about deep frying it, like the Karen-in-making did in front me. Bless the employee who had to deal with that…

Loved everything about this place! The staff is super friendly, the food is delicious and well portioned for the price, the music set the perfect vibe, the space has soul, and the other patrons were chill and pleasant. We will be back for sure 😁Vegetarian options: I asked to sub bacon out of my meal and they suggested a generous portion of avocado! There were other vegetarian options as well.

Cool place. Hip/cool local art on the walls/available. Indoor and outdoor seating options. Dog friendly. The fried chicken sandwich was perfectly done. Bacon features were similarly well-done. This is a great day-destination. Lots of hidden/subtle treasures dining-wise in this area. Recommend.

Excellent breakfast. The handheld was spicy but pleasantly counter balanced by the sweet fennel sausage. Waffles tender with fresh blueberries. Mocha was delicious.

Super cute coffee/food spot in the heart of historic Fayetteville. We stopped by on a Saturday morning, and clearly it’s a favorite for everyone around. There was a wait, but they got us in and out with our to-go breakfast sandwiches and coffees within minutes. I will def go back when I’m in town again.
