We have stayed at the same tiny house #11 for the last 3 years. We love it and will be back again for 4th year next year. Set up nicely and always have supplies... utensils, pots ,pans, supply linens and a coffee maker with coffee. So thankful for that!!!! Thank you lory for keeping in touch and letting us know any details needed for our stay and activities. We ride motorcycles and everyone that mentions going to west Virginia... we tell them about your place... and yes it Is a great place to visit on a motorcycle.Nearby activities: Lots of great roads for motorcycle riding. Bridge day is great. Lots of hiking and beautiful sites.

We booked a tiny house August 2-5. When we arrived it had not been cleaned. The owners graciously offered a cabin for 2 nights. We took the offer because it was late in the evening. The cabin was sufficient. We returned to the tiny house the morning of August 4 and left our suitcases there and went on with our day. We returned that night around 10:30. When my husband went up to the loft and turned on the light, bugs scattered. Needless to say, we left right away. I'm giving them a 2 star rating because the cabin was sufficient.

Owners are very nice and accommodating over the phone! Lori was super helpful and the cabins are well maintained and have lots of amenities. Ours had a full bathroom and shower. A refrigerator and kitchen as well as 4 beds. Would stay here again.

Stayed in the tiny homes and it smelled. We found a clump of hair in shower and it was infested with ants. It's definitely not clean here.

A lovely tiny house stay that got our family excited for a nice change of pace. New River Cabins is in a very convenient location. Close to groceries. Excellent cell service reception. Clean cabins and friendly grounds keepers. The owners are easily accessible if anything is needed.Be forewarned however, there is no security on premises so you are on your own at all hours unless you call. Apparently, one neighbor had a party that ended in a drunken fight and abandonment of the drunk left in his cabin by his family/friends.We slept through all of the ruckus but found out it was pretty bad and the cops were going to need to be called to remove the man if he was not out at a certain time. We left before then.Obviously not at the fault of New River Cabins and is a risk that comes with the territory. It is quite secluded as the Cabins are the only civilization on or near property. So your stay is at your own risk.As far as visiting New River Gorge National Park, you can honestly see it in one full day. As a newer park is just not at the level of a National Park in our opinion and we had a hard time filling three days.The most fun we has was actually *in* the cabin.

This is a wonderful place to stay! We stayed two nights in one of their newer tiny houses and it was just what we needed for our trip. The owner, Lory, is also responsive to emails and very accommodating and welcoming.Since it is, in fact, a tiny house, I would say it’s best to accommodate 2 people but 4 could also work if you’re okay with close quarters. The house came equipped with a folding table and two chairs, a couch/bed, a queen bed in the loft, a hot plate, a fridge/freezer, a microwave, an A/C unit, cooking utensils, a private outdoor fire ring and picnic table, and plenty of towels, sheets, pillows, and pillowcases. The area is also so quiet even though it’s right off of U.S. 19. This made it a breeze to go just about anywhere in the area. Downtown Fayetteville is only 5 minutes away, the Canyon Rim Boardwalk is even closer, and the Endless Wall Trail was only a 12 minute drive! Definitely keep this place in mind if you’re looking for a trip to the Gorge.

Everything about the cabin was fantastic! My family and I stayed for 4 nights it was clean the owners were friendly and helpful! Also we were just 5 minutes from the New River Gorge. Privacy was great! We plan on returning next year!

Great cabin rental in the New River Gorge Bridge area of WV. The cabins were clean and easily accessible. The owner (Lory) had tons of information to share about the area and what to bring. She was super helpful and quick with all her communications.The cabins are located right next to Route 19 and therefore, constant traffic noise occurs all day and all night.

I've been staying with Lory at her cabins now for the last three years. These cabins are always clean, well maintained, and extremely convenient to the New River Gorge area. If you're looking for a place to stay in the area, I can't recommend these cabins enough!

These are quaint little cabins. While spartan in amenities, they have everything you'll need. They have firewood ready to purchase right on the deck of you cabin. They have coffee makers, coffee, paper plates, plastic utensils, dish soap, dish drainer, microwave, fridge/freezer, sink, cook top, shower, hot water (and a lot of it!), towels, ect. Outside of the cabin are benches on the deck, picnic bench, and a fire ring (complete with a cooking grate). These are nicely kept cabins and the staff is very nice. Dogs are welcome, so bring your furry buddies with you! Good accommodations at a fair price. I would recommend this place.

Everything I was promised! Cabin was clean, bedding and towels provided. Weather wasn't great but the heater worked (40 one night) We stayed in a 4 person cabin, and saw inside a larger one, both very nice. 5 people stayed in cabin and all agree we will come back.

Lory at New River Cabins will go above and beyond from a customer service perspective. The cabin has all you need if you are looking for a place to lay your head and you will never have to look far to find somewhere to hang your wet towel. If you are going down the rapids with a group of friends this is the place for you, but do not expect anything other than the bare amenities.

Great Cabin's for 4 or more, they are clean and small, each has it's own fire ring and wood is available. Awesome for those looking for adventure and a place to rest in the evening.

Expensive but nice. We actually didn't stay there but visited the resort and thought the cabins nice. I found out later they had a two for one night stay discount that I regret not seeing initially.
