I was so impressed by this vet. I just arrived to town for seasonal work and my dog suddenly fell ill as soon as I arrived. They had her in a room within a hour of the first phone call, did reasonable and customary diagnostics and took great care of her. Their facility was sparking clean, everyone was wonderful to deal with, and they made my complicated arrival to town much easier!

We brought our cat in because we thought she ate a piece of plastic (which she of course ended up not even ingesting -- we found it under the couch). The staff were wonderful over this 4 day saga. Everyone was patient with us, so kind, and answered all of our questions. Dr. Emily was extremely helpful on the phone (even picking up my phone call on a Saturday evening) and just as lovely the next day in person. So grateful for this vet!

I brought my Luna in today because when she woke up she wasn’t feeling well . She was seen as a walk in and was still seen very quickly . The staff was very friendly and patiently described what they would do before they did any of it to okay it with me . Once testing was done and I’d had the results and had been told the treatment plan she came out and explained everything once more . I asked a lot of questions because I wanted to make sure I do everything right to get my baby better and I was also very upset , making it hard to take everything in ..she still remained patient and kind and continued to answer everything I had to ask . I definitely won’t be going anywhere else . I was so afraid but I left feeling confident that she’s getting the best help that she can on her road to recovery .

Absolutely wonderful vet. They truly care about every animal that enters the building. I will never go to another vet. I am a very “overprotective” pet parent and call them with any concern, bring my cats in quite regularly, and they always treat us with kindness and respect. ❤️

Exceptional place to take your fur babies. I've been going here for over 5 years and do not have 1 complaint. The workers are all very kind and helpful and they do not charge you an arm and a leg for services. I pass multiple vets on my 45 mintue drive to fayetteville, I will continue to come to this facility. Thank you for everything you do to help my animals and make it affordable for me to do so.

Both veterinarians here are wonderful, caring & talented people. I especially appreciate the intense & stern lady vet, whose name constantly & embarrassingly eludes me. She is a force of goodness in the world.The front desk staff have improved & the vet techs are generally rather cool.They have messed up our medications a few times - the tech. We had to correct that & that has been frustrating due to the long drive to get there and back before we noticed. Now we always check before we leave & have corrected those mistakes then & there. It’s always the same medication, but I guess new techs sometimes handle putting it together.I definitely feel they are hands down the best in the area. However, I had to change the rating from 5 to 4 stars since they’ve outsourced their call answering with a third party answering service - which sounds like it’s overseas? The person answering the phone struggles both to understand and speak English, seems to be reading from a script, repeats everything you say back in the longest, slowest, most complicated way possible, and doesn’t know anything about the clinic, the staff/doctors or veterinary medicine. She can only take your number and request a call back. This is really bad if your pet is having some kind of medical emergency. I say “she” because I called 4 times recently on different days and it was the same woman, much to my chagrin.When you actually get ahold of someone in the office, they are great. But this is a problem if you live very far from the clinic & need to reach them before driving to an appointment or otherwise showing up. It seems that if fielding too many calls is a problem, they should opt for voice mail & check it regularly or else hire more staff. The current solution feels very thoughtlessly corporate & is not practical for a medical environment.

They are amazing here. Everyone is friendly and they really care about the animals. 100% recommend I originally came here for a second opinion my pup was diagnosed with cancer and another veterinary office basically told me to let him die. I came here and they did surgery completely removed the cancer and have been so patient and helpful thru out his healing process.

The level of professionalism that this office shows is incredible. They are so caring and compassionate. They take in your financial situations in consideration and don’t do anything that is unnecessary. I called in the morning and was totally expecting to not be able to have my dog seen til the next day but was able to seen today. Highly recommend this office!

I had my pup to them twice when sick. First saw a doctor who said his name was Matthew too (my pup is Matthew) he was great. Then last time saw Dr Sarah Legg. She was great too. They were recommended by a few friends and I love them taking care of my baby.

Always honest when dealing with an older dog and carefully explaining the options and letting us know what to expect, never any unnecessary testing or judgment. I just can’t believe how lucky we are to have such wonderful vets in our small community. Today, for the first time, we had to put one of our family down. It’s easy to sing praises when things go the way you want them to, not so much when they don’t. Even in the face of the decision no one wants to make these guys are nothing less than amazing. They went so far above and beyond to take care of our barn kitten Penn (Or Little Britches, or Owl Snacks, or Stir Fry - depending on who you ask). They guided us through his illness in such a genuine way that when the time did come, we felt at ease, that we had made the right decision, and that we had done everything we could. Thank you Dr. Matt, Dr. Katie, Nina, Kelly, and the rest of the team at Fayette Veterinary Hospital, but I can’t even be done yet…My Australian Shepherd, Pablo, will be 15 years old in October. He’s been with me since he was 10 weeks old and I could hold him in the palm of my hand. Two months ago, Pablo had a stroke and we thought we had lost him. Thanks to Dr. Matt’s expert and meticulous care he’s recovered 95% and I’ve got to spend many more days with my best good pal and have no doubt I’ll get to spend many more. I’m so thankful to have someone right here in our neighborhood that we can trust with our most important family decisions.Trust, honestly, and forthrightness mean a lot to me, and my hat is off to our local vet. Thank you!

Took our dog there for the first time today. He is eight and has went to a different vet the whole time we've had him. Let's just say that the staff are very helpful and friendly. They are well organized, and the wait, with us being a walk-in, was very short. The vet was very friendly and helpful. He didn't perform any unneeded tests or X rays. The care my dog was given was very professional, and all was explained very well. I believe we we paid a very fair fee. I believe they have gained a new animal patient.

My chihuahua was prescribed a steroid taper for reactive airway and I can already see that her symptoms are alleviated. Both the vet tech and Dr. Legg(?) were super friendly and the assessment and explanations were very thorough. I will definitely be coming here for all my future pet’s needs.

I was worried about having to wait outside because I have a big dog that sometimes doesn't listen. But, they were great with him and much faster than I expected. They were very busy and I was only there for maybe an hour. I was impressed. We use them for all of our animals and are always impressed.

If there were 10 stars, I'd give them. This is a very caring, dedicated animal hospital. The staff is so attentive to each animal, from the front desk to the Vet Techs, to the excellent Veterinarians. We had a very sick pup over the holiday weekend and Dr. Kathryne Bucks took such excellent care of him and took time from her very busy day to explain the situation to us. We can't express our gratitude enough. Thank you!!!!

🐾Absolutely amazing, caring, understanding. Love them, wouldn't take our fur babies anywhere else. They saved our two 6 month old puppies that was very very sick when we took them in & kept us updated multiple times daily. My daughter was devastated over her babies having to stay & they were in puppy ICU(so we couldn't go visit/check on them & the amazing caring compassionate staff offered & sent pics🐾
