I just have to say that Alaskys furniture in Farmington is absolutely amazing! My sister and I had the pleasure of working with Mary, who was so knowledgeable, kind, and friendly. I've been looking for a chair for two years that would not hurt my back. Mary was incredibly patient with us as I took my time deciding on a chair. Mary went above and beyond to find a chair that I wanted and would be comfortable for me. Overall, it was the best shopping experience we've ever had! Thank you so much to everyone at Alaskys. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for furniture.

Online buyers beware. They have on their website, what appears to be items in their inventory, but do not. The folks at the store have no idea what is going on in their online store. The manager, said she has no idea what or or how the online store is operated and that "some guy" operates it. All I know is my credit card information has been retained somewhere and it is concerning to say the least. I will be contacting the BBB regarding this matter.

We purchased new appliances from Mary at Alaskys. She worked with us and made sure we were getting what we wanted. She scheduled deliveries and everything went smooth and on time. We won't deal with the big box's store anymore.

Great selection of appliances & furniture. It is not a high pressure sale. They give you time to check things out & answer any questions. Mary is absolutely the best! Plus they are a hometown store. I recommend to anyone.

After having a bad Lowes experience, we decided to stop in Alasky's. Alasky's had the same refrigerator that we almost bought at Lowes for $100 less. Everyone was was working including the owner. Jim was treated like a valued customer. We now own a really nice appliance sold by Alaskys. A week later, we receive a nice thank you note from Peter Alasky. From now on, we will check Alaskys before going to a large chain store.

As soon as you walk in you can feel a warm, friendly, family atmosphere. The staff is eager to help you find what you are looking for, and if you don't know exactly what you need, they will help you figure it out. Plus they have just about anything you may want or need. They should have a motto ( If we don't have it, you don't need it)

This store took advantage of my elderly father delivering a damaged chair that he paid $1,800.00 for. During the delivery, the service ripped my father's couch in two places with the metal on the chair. They each blame the other and don't want to accept their responsiblity. Don't do business with them! It's shameful that they took advantage of an 81 year old man. We also have another customer who will testify that they took advantage of him as well. I wish I could give no stars. Stay away!

Paid $1,410 for a lift chair and the cushion gave way and Alaskys refuse to fix it - told us to go buy a piece of foam and put in it ourselves. Please let this be known that you should never buy from these greedy (we think they may be cubans but not sure) and if so, we have several foreign friends who would never think of cheating the elderly and disabled. Let it be known about this because they do not stand behind their merchandise. Since our experience, 3 families have come forward to tell us of their almost like experience.

This is my neighborhood store. They are friendly, convenient, and are reasonably priced. They keep many items in stock and when your refrigerator goes out, you can pick one up the same day. Lowes wanted a week to deliver and Home Depot wanted five days. Alasky's would have delivered the next day if I would have asked. I am typically in too big of a hurry for that. Kyle is courteous, knowledgeable, and always has time for me. Currently most of my appliances are from Alasky's. In time, I suspect my furniture will be, as well.Alasky's also has a well stocked automotive/hardware store as well. It is definitely worth a stop.

Alasky's is right along the road. It was easy in. They have a wide variety of items . I picked up a couple things I was looking for and a pair of gloves on sale. Then quickly back on the road.
