What a distinctive experience! We ordered two hot dogs, a pepperoni roll, and as it was Wednesday (and burgers are available ONLY on Wednesday, we had to try it.The chili topping a standard topping in this part of West Virginia, is anything but standard. It's spicy. Like, spices. And hot, like Italian pepper hot. And meaty.Everything came slathered in yellow mustard and coarsely-chopped white onions. The buns were so fluffy.Erik says the pepperoni roll was "Woah. Spicy. Like... My lips are tingling." But he never stopped eating it.The burger was a clear winner. The patty was so beefy and the texture was PERFECT.The two dogs were delicious. I would have loaded mine with more yellow mustard but I wanted the authentic experience.I am glad we had cold, sweet, fizzy sodas in the car to cut the heat.Also, the stand was busy, the owners were sweet, and I can see why Yann's is a classic.Parking: Gravel lot behind the property. Plenty of space.

Always Awesome! You never know how spicy 🔥 they might be. The last time I got them which was 3 years ago they were mild. This time I would rate them Medium. I took a drink after eating the first bite. I wouldn't have had to but it was better that way. Fairmont State (1980-1984) Graduate

The hot dog was okay.. I loved the pepperoni roll a lot better.. I definitely recommend both but the pepperoni roll stole the show..

Spicy and delicious. I had three and could have easily eaten six. The dogs come with chili sauce, mustard and onions and they are perfect that way. Yann sells 100 dozen a day and when they are gone, he closes. Regardless of time.

It is a institution in fairmont. Great hotdogs. They come musturd, onions and sauce. Dont ask for Ketchup. And get the Chocolate milk you be happy

Im recently back in Fairmont. Unfortunately I have Leukemia and retired. I dont eat much these days. But I had to mention how incredibly Ms Kathy and her staff are doing since Mr. Yann's passing. The dogs are still excellent and they're quick to greet you. I eat dogs frequently and I have never, not once seen Ms. Kathy without a smile on her face. I find it awesome that they're open at 8:30am. They've made sure that if you want Hotdogs for lunch, and you can't get away, you WILL get your Yann dogs for lunch!! This is a fantastic business practice. But I like to think, and probably correct, they open early because they care about the people of Fairmont!! I correlate it to your mom making you lunch before school!! I think Yann's is on my breakfast menu today.

NO place for any large vehicles to park, but if you can the dogs are pretty awesome. Simply made, chilli dogs, with onion, what could go wrong.Parking: Street only.

I give five stars across the board because this place has a long standing reputation for a certain atmosphere and flavor.All those have not changed since I started visiting this location over a decade ago.I've lived out of state for a few years now and on my recent visit I had to get a Yanndog.The only thing missing from this experience now is the man himself.

Best hot dog sauce in the world! Only stop by if you can handle some heat, because these babies are hot. Pepperoni rolls are also delicious if you can get there before they sell out. Prices also very modest.

I’ve heard so much hype about these hot dogs that I decided I needed to try them myself. Let me just say the hype is real. The hot dogs are good, but it’s all about that sauce. The pepperoni rolls with the sauce are very good too. I will be back.

My dad took me there 50 years ago to eat them dogs. I live near Pittsburgh and every time I go to West Virginia to visit relatives I stop and buy some to eat there and 20 to 40 to go. You can freeze them, but they do get hotter after you heat them up. I think they are the best and don't care what anyone says . You can't buy good hot dogs in Pittsburgh. And I don't care if Russ is grumpy, and he don't care either.

A local favorite! If you like spicy, you’ll love Yann’s! (Just don’t ask for ketchup! ;)) You get your dogs the famous, and only way. Trust me, he knows what he’s doing! Great hot dogs, consistently.

This review or act of kindness is way over due. Back in June this year my husband and I was staying at the nite shelter at the Mission . The nite shelter has you leave by 6:30 a.m. every morning. That being said, my husband and I was sitting directly across the street from Yan's Hotdogs about 7:00a.m. cause we had nowhere else to go at the time. Anyway, a very nice gentleman came across the street with a bag in his hand saying, "This is for you guys". Here he brought us three hotdogs a pc, bag of chips, chocolate milks and two waters. This was. God send in our time of need. Thank you again Yan's Hotdogs we will never forget your kindness. May God bless you.

I don't eat hot dogs, but every time I'm in West Virginia I will always order about four dozen spicy coney dogs to take back to Ohio with me!!! Delicious! Who knew that you can make a gourmet hot dog!!!

Truly a unique experience. Some of the spiciest dogs you'll ever taste. Get a chocolate milk to wash them down and ease the pain. DON'T ask for ketchup, or you'll experience the wrath of Frank, and be laughed out of the tiny end-of-the-bridge establishment.

Everyone has their favorite Fairmont dogs and this is mine. Cathy makes three generations of Yann's to run the place and she does a great job. Even brought back the hamburgers that I heard about as a child.

The best hot dogs and sauce on the planet. Trust me. I have traveled the world and tried versions nearly everywhere I've been. None have ever met the standards of taste that Yann's instilled on me 45 years ago. Ever!Seriously! Yann's sauce is the standard I use to judge any other so called coney or hot dog w/sauce. Spicy and tastey. When I visit Fairmont, WV, I always call Yann's (early inn the day) and order ahead because I buy on the average of 2 dozen or more and freeze them to eat later. I treat them like they are manna from heaven.If you want the best, get you some Yann's dogs. The Best!!!

Perhaps the spiciest hot dog on the planet. Yann's has a cult following, myself included. If you can't take the heat, don't bother. Comes with a unique, hot meat sauce, onions and mustard; don't try to deviate.

Had to go back from parking lot to get more. Not even a huge hot dog person, but these are fantastic! Have the perfect amount of kick for me. Loved and will be back any time I can, when visiting Morgantown. Couldn’t even take a photo before eating some 😂😉

My father passed away 3 years ago. We live in Cleveland Ohio but as a kid I remember driving down to Fairmont JUST for these hotdogs. I need to take a trip down just to relive some amazing memories. This place will forever hold a place in my heart. ❤️

Family favorite passed down through 4 generations now. You have to get there early though. Do not ask for anything other than mustard onions and/or sauce. They usually come with all 3 unless specified and the sauce is spicy.

Cheap dogs, cheap white bread bun. Soggy, greasy and too spicy. The spicy covers the other ingredients, you can't taste anything else. There is really nothing to like about these nasty little things. It's far more nostalgia than anything good.

Best chili dogs around, no comparison! Wasn't sure it would be the same after Russel passed away, but his family is doing a great job keeping it the way it has been.
