For atmosphere you have to know the history of the bakery it was built long ago, it's clean, it's not designed for you to sit and relax, you go in.. you order or pick up.. you're quickly given your order and then you get out.. it's not spacious almost intimate but friendly!. We were in to get freshly baked pepperoni rolls in a 12 pack they're made every hour they're outstanding if you want to accompany your purchase with sauces those are available for purchase as well and if you think you might want a cream puff oh my or a cookie oh my oh my you might want to try those as well.. The foot traffic is amazing They have a loyal customer base and there's good reason for it.Parking: The parking is available but there's not a lot of spaces however the customer traffic comes in and out so quickly you don't have to wait long for a space.

My Dad's from Morgantown and we stop here every visit for pepperoni rolls. You gotta make em yourself in Indiana . They were out when we got there at 3 so we ordered 7 dozen for Saturday morning. They had just come out of the oven when we picked them up. We had to skip lunch. Lol

The pepperoni roll was good.. their rolls are probably more old school to West Virginia.. I’m not knowledgeable about this but I had better pepperoni rolls in other places in West Virginia… these rolls were still good tho..

Struck gold! I was reading an article about popular sandwiches from each state in the Country. West Virginia's state sandwich is the pepperoni roll. Invented by an Italian immigrant coal miner who decided to put his pepperoni IN his roll before baking to make it easier to take for his daily lunch. The idea caught on and before he knew it, he started a bakery in Fairmont, WV and was out of the mines. I ordered a dozen rolls. Made fresh on Monday and shipped immediately. They arrived yesterday and made a delicious meal last night. I think we might have the same again tonight. 😊Served with roasted potatoes and peppers and some steamed green beans. We originally stopped in Fairmont to take a picture at the pepperoni roll history sign, and naturally had to stop at Country Club Bakery to buy some pepperoni rolls! It's a small bakery with delicious baked goods. Their pepperoni rolls feature stick pepperoni and I really enjoyed them. We'll definitely be back!

The original pepperoni roll is still the best. I used to live in Fairmont, but now I have the rolls mailed to me in Charleston. I warm them in the microwave and they’re as good as ever!

been eating these pepperoni rolls for years!! they are the best! you can order online too! - Always stop here first when coming to WV, super good when they're fresh! Cream puffs were good too, first time trying them in June 2023

This fantastic Bakery is where the original pepperoni roll was first made it's part of History the pepperoni roll was the Coal Miner's lunch the Country Club bakery has been owned by the extremely nice p a l l o t t a family for many years everything here is amazingly delicious I will be back Gary Taylor I stopped back in to get some more delicious pepperoni rolls I highly recommend this country club bakery to everyone the owner is a first class gentleman

They don't try to overdo it here -- no cases and cases of goods. But, oh my heavens, the things they do are very good. The pepperoni rolls are soft and simple. Grab a couple warm and a dozen to take home. We particularly like the Vienna Bread for toast and grilled sandwiches. The cookies are the best, particularly the pecan tassies and the cream puffs.

Had pepperoni rolls shipped to Boone, NC. Arrived still tasting fresh. This place is an absolute godsend, it's so hard to find pepperoni rolls outside of WV, so it's amazing they ship. I will definitely be ordering again some time in the future!

Not sure why the hours say they are open till 5:30 and closed at 4:30 on a Monday. Drove across town to pick up and no one’s here :/2 other pulled up right after we did also scratching their heads why they’re closed.Business needs to update their hours if they’re going to leave us all hanging.

We live in another state so we had to have these pepperoni rolls shipped to us. I have to say that theyre delicious but I think there was more bread than pepperoni.We think they should add a little more pepperoni since that is the main reason that we ordered them. This is also the first time that we’ve ever tasted pepperoni rolls from West Virginia and since we saw this place on TV and everyone was raving about it, we set our expectations pretty high. We will probably order them again but maybe ask for extra pepperoni since its so good.

I have eaten these pepperoni rolls for years, ever since I was a young kid. My grandmother would buy these and bring them to us. We would be beyond excited when she would get us our own bag (because who likes sharing something SO good). These are truly the best! I haven't had anything that even comes close. The type of bread, the type of pepperoni and by golly all that WV love 💖 My grandmother will be 91 this year, I might have to buy her a bag this time!

Country Club Bakery has the best pepperoni rolls. I'll stop on my way to work and get some for work. I'm the envy of everyone around me. The smell brightens up the atmosphere. The price is very reasonable for the quality of food you get as a customer. You're always greated with a friendly smile from the nice ladies at the front counter. Any other pepperoni roll is sub standard compared to those at Country Club Bakery.

Just can't get better pepperoni rolls any where in West Virginia. Walkin purchase. Hot rolls all day. Buy by the dozen. They are large and packed with pepperoni. They sell great sauce also you can add. I bought a dozen and a jar of sauce. I am very pleased.

Best pepperoni rolls bar none!!!!! They have the stick pepperoni and they are always made fresh daily. Their cookies are also very tasty, my favorites are the chocolate peanut butter stuffed cookie and the chocolate coconut stuffed cookies, YUM!!! They also have Oliverio Peppers on hand so pick up some mozarella cheese and your drink of choice and enjoy!! They do accept debit and credit cards.
