He's located behind Middletown Mall, his office is always immaculately clean. The help there is fanominal too, they are always there to help me....Great business...

We used to love Doc Dolly. Always nice, friendly, knowledgeable. The last couple visits with three different pets he was pretty rude, still knowledgeable. This last visit two weeks ago he was incredibly condescending and an all around pr!ck with very little info regarding our cat. I’m not saying our cats death was his fault, I’m not saying it’s not but we will never bring a pet back and will encourage others not to.

When we first went here, it was great; they were timely and compassionate. The last 2 appointments we’ve had, we’ve left because it’s been over an hour and we still hadn’t been seen. It would be a different story if they were busy, but when we got there today all of the rooms were cleared and we were the only people there.

We’ve taken our dogs to Dr Dolly since he opened CAH and even earlier when he worked with Dr Carpenter. TWICE I have taken one of our dogs for him to treat, expecting that they would be put down, and Dr Dolly saved them. We had a Shar-Pei who was bitten by a brown recluse. Shar-Pei’s have a very unique skin that helps protect them but in this case, caused our girl’s leg to bust open like a book. Regular treatments were not working so Dr Dolly went way outside of the box in an attempt to save her. Several weeks after daily care, she was back to being a normal dog and lived a happy life with us for 6-7 more years.This year our labradoodle pup (barely 3 years old) slowly got sick, stopped eating, etc. After running tests and trying what he could, Dr Dolly referred us to a specialist in Pittsburgh who diagnosed our pup with a rare condition called Addison’s Disease and she is doing great now with ongoing treatment here at home. Has he not researched and looked into specialty care we would’ve had to have put our girl down she was so sick.I can’t recommend this clinic enough if you have pets that you want to receive the best possible care. When our Shar-Pei was ready to cross the rainbow bridge due to old age and a couple other health issues that were untreatable, Dr Dolly had us come in after hours and he put the dog that he’d saved several years earlier to sleep. That dog was special to us and to him and we ALL cried together after she had passed. Dr Dolly cares about the pets he provides care for and I can’t think of another clinic or provider that I’d trust more than him and his staff. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Dr. Dolly and the entire Canterbury staff have been a blessing to have as my furnaby's care team. From day one they have all treated me and Chloe (my furnaby) as family. Great care every time. It is refreshing to know your pet comes first. I would recommend Canterbury all day every day.

I will say that Canterbury Animal Hospital in Fairmont, WV behind the Middletown commons has been absolutely awesome towards us. I had 2 dogs and now just 1 for whom we still take there, but found out after taking my beagle there that he was diabetic. He was a happy, lazy and playful beagle who seemed to be living a normal life to them and then after one visit they tested him and diagnosed him with diabetes. We were clueless that he was and he had been diabetic for a while according to them. But with every bit of craziness going on in my school/work/family life they were there to help me and my fiancé manage the diabetes with our beagle. Although he recently passed, it could have been sooner than what it was if they never would have caught it, so we are very appreciative for them and their staff and will continue to return to them for our other dachshund’s needs.

Dr Dolly and their staff are very compassionate and kind when taking care of my dog, Amos. Unfortunately he passed away and I'm soo sad ,but they gave us some alone time with him before he was taken to be cremated. We are very pleased with the care we received here and if in the future we get another dog we will definitely bring them here.

My mother took her 12 year old dog to these people on February 4. Her dog couldn’t stand up or walk and she couldn’t eat or drink anything. All they did was gave her dog antibiotics and other medicines charged her 400.00 and sent her home. So my mom the very next day took her dog to Audubon in Bridgeport. That vet kept my moms dog all weekend to give her IV fluids and antibiotics and she is much better now. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Canterbury Animal Hospital s the best hospital for my fur baby that I have gone to in a lot of years. The Vet that I used to take her to retired, so I went on a search for a new Vet. I sure found the last vet that I will be using for the rest of Bella’s life. The Doctor is real people and doesn’t talk over your head. The staf is the finest. Staff seems to genuinely care about individual animals. Facility is very nice and conveniently located. Prices are a little higher than others in the area, but i think (so far) that its a quality over quantity issue and am very satisfied.
