The service here is the worst ive seen in elkview. The "manager" does not train her employees and I over heard her venting to a customer about people using food stamps. I am not on stamps but I have family that are and it's not right. This store does not deserve you buisness!! I've contacted corporate. If there is an update I'll give one!

Melissa, the assistant manager, is an absolute delight. She is very friendly and hard-working. Melissa does a very nice job maintaining the stores appearance, provides exceptional personalized customer service, and is warm and welcoming all while being energetic and positive. Melissa makes this store a go to place for all who shop there. Melissa keeps the customers coming back and the place would not be the same without her!

I used to be a regular customer here because I lived in pinch and I even continued to go there after I moved, because I liked it. But I won’t go back. Don’t buy any puff-bars or anything of that nature here if you don’t want ripped off. Paid 15.99 for a blue raspberry puff bar, walked outside and my fiancé attempted to use it, it didn’t work. I took it directly back inside with the receipt not even a full minute later and both employees told me there is nothing they could do and I’d have to come back early in the morning. Well, that’s not ideal for me when I live several miles away and I was just passing through. Don’t sell something that you know doesn’t work, especially if you know good and well that you can’t refund the person when it doesn’t. (I know they knew because one lady mentioned that I was the third person to bring one back THAT DAY). Bull

The chicken salad is excellent and there's a nice selection of fresh food. However, I question the store policies management has in place. Even if you purchase store items and gas as I do nearly daily, you aren't allowed to heat outside food in the microwave. Plus there's no sign posted, just some employee who told me no. I've never run into another gas station with this rule. If there were another option in Pinch, I'd do business elsewhere.

Been coming here 6 years to buy my cigarettes. Everyone takes my ID, except one old old woman who refuses whenever she can. Any time me or one of my younger friends goes in, she makes a huge deal to check ID. If we lose it and have to get a new one, she refuses service for those 2 weeks. It's happened to me, and my friends several time over the course of 6 years for me, up to 10 for others. I'm 25 years old. I'm tired of this woman being rude to young people.

I feel like I am among friends when I visit Little General (aka Mountain Mart). The store is always neat and clean. The employees are informative and friendly. The manager, Barb, cooks some mean grub too! Hands down, the best (home made) cole slaw chicken salad in town!

I had stop at this gas station today to get a little gas I went inside to pay the gas station servant and the purto rickon female was speaking very fast in broken English and refused to take my cash money the foreigner told me everyone uses debit card and refused to take my cash money and was very rude with a bad attitude I don't recommend shopping here with that trouble maker working the register she deserve fired for refusing my cash money it's perfectly good legal currency

Would not accept a valid Passport as an ID to purchase alcohol. Please educate your employees. Ridiculous. A Goverment issued Passport is the mostly highly secure photo identification possible.

I just bought a biscuit from this place for almost 4 dollars and the ham wasn't even cooked it was honestly the most disgusting thing I have ever had if your gonna sell over priced food atleaat cook it.
