Need more cashiers and baggers. Person at uscan was too busy talking to another employee to notice the "help is on the way" voice and screen screaming. Stood there looking inher direction for 5 minutes before she finally seen my irritated look. Office is never open so good luck if u need a refund

I love that they put WIC on all WIC items. Their produce is much better than Walmarts. I don't like their self check out and I really don't like that they don't have baggers on a busy Friday evening. I don't mind bagging but their was an elderly woman working cashier and if it wasn't for me being able to do it myself that woman would of struggled. The workers are always kind and will help anyone if they need it. I would of rated a 5 if not for the terrible self checkout system and them not employing more cashiers and baggers. All in all great store. I do believe if they would expand they would double their profits and bring more customers.

Good produce and good selection of international products, but for the only decent deli in town they NEVER seem to have anyone working there. Called about it and got attitude. Don't think I'll be going back.

Tiny and overpriced, but not many other options. We were in the area for a vacation and there are not many other full-service shopping centers. The employees were all friendly and the store was clean. Given the floor space available I believe they made the best of the situation.The only section that was poor was the produce. We purchase a bunch for meals and except for one watermelon it was pretty below average.

It was fast convenient and it has self check out, or a cashier option. That's pretty cool. And it was raining outside, but the floor was dry. Very nice.

Love this place, the quality is great and a specific staff member named Brady, I didnt catch his last name gave me great service. He was kind sweet and smelled out energy drink. I love this place and would like to see that sweet young man again and hopefully catch his last name. GOD BLESS you Brady you saved my life from suicide.

I don't much enjoy mega grocery stores. This Kroger had a nice variety of products including produce, beer and wine while maintaining a small town grocery store appeal. Obtain a loyalty card and set up an online account to access digital coupons. The store brand products are pretty good quality. One of the few stores where someone will help you locate products, bag your groceries, and occasionally offer to help you to the car.

Good selection of groceries, but store layout is horrific. Frozen foods on one side of store, dairy cooler on the other. If you are doing big shopping there is either a lot of walking, or something is getting warm/thawing out.

I used to shop Kroger's all the time till the other day. Went in and shopped and went to cashier. She was rude and I was charged $18 for a 6 pack of toilet paper and a 4 pack of paper towels. Ridiculous! I know it wasn't her fault but being rude on top of over charging me could have been prevented. I won't shop at this Kroger's no more!

Great place to shop. And you can even earn point towards money off gas or diesel. Which helps save money on evey fill up. Very helpful cashiers and other employees. Lots of food and other miscellaneous items.

Don come in 20 mins before delie closes and need meats . I called in at 2 told them I couldn't make it untill 740 they refused my order over the phone said they can't do that so I said don't clean the slicer I'll be in she said they wouldn't it would be fine we'll after pursussion and her rudeness finally got done and said they can't slice meats at 740 either cause they close at 8..so plan on good work ethic here

Employees and their customer service is usually top notch (I've had no bad experiences) but the store itself is too small and has poor selection of most goods. I would love to see an Aldi or a Giant Eagle Market District because lets face it, West Virginia will never get a Trader Joe's or even Whole Foods so we are made to shop at less than desirable smaller stores. Kroger could be better but since the competition in this small town is almost non-existent, they (as a corporation) are not interested in being a better store. I go to Pittsburgh once every two weeks so I do all of my shopping at Trader Joe's or a Whole Foods there and bring it back as they have a much better selection.

Best true grocery store in town. Don't have to deal with huge box store parking and congestion. They have a good selection although I wish they expanded this store as they had intended. They own all the land around it but have not done the expansion yet.

I love Kroger! They are always so helpful and tidy. I save so much money there every time i shop and the points to save on gas help even more. I buy everything here except for a very select few items that they don't have.

I'm getting exasperated with the empty shelves, no produce, and sale items are always gone. I walked the produce section four times, looking for garlic bulbs, packaged or loose. There were none. I've been going to Kroger for 50 years. Sure, had some complaints, but, this year in particular has been one terrible shopping trip after another. And, I live close.

OK now some one is going to give me a new loaf of Bread.I bought this and the label said it was still good but does it look good to you i think not so i want a refund and some extra money to use at another store because this is gross. (Kroger this is not funny)

Great organic food section. Would prefer more locally grown fresh food products, better deli and baked breads, though. Needs to be bigger. the aisles are too narrow.

Great hand soap selection here. Has most everything needed and comparable prices. Easy enough to get in and out of with entrance and exits on both sides of the store and each road.

This is my favorite Kroger on the planet. It might be on the smaller side, but the staff here are helpful and fun. I lived in Elkins for four years and got used to this place. Baked goods are a great deal.

Heard an employee working the self check out loudly and very clearly tell another employee to "go home. This place sucks." Yes. Yes it does. When i called to complain no one answered the phone. The employees at krogers are rarely around when you need them to be and often let the customers know how much they loathe working there. Elkins krogers needs to hire some decent workers.

This Kroger store has narrow isles and is always short-stocked. The staff is sometimes friendly, but I find them to be unhelpful sometimes. It really needs a bigger location, and the staff needs some customer service training.

Mens restrooms are filthy. Hand sanitizer is frequently empty. Floors are disgusting. Remodeling would help a lot.

Store is very small, cramped, and crowded. Add customers who stop in the aisles to hold mini reunions to make things even more congested and you have the makings of events you might see in the news when someone loses it. The Elkins WV store is too small, too crowded, and desperately needs additional parking. If there was another decent grocery store in the area, Kroger would just dry up and blow away. They bought additional land, use it. I am a lifetime Kroger customer, and I AM DISSATISFIED. Look at the Staunton, VA Kroger as an example of how it should be.
