I first visited this store a couple months the ago. I live in Petersburg Wv and it's the closest goodwill to me. I've been to the ones in Charleston and this one by far is so much nicerThis one here in elkins is really big compared to the ones in Charleston. I'm going back tomorrow. Finley have a fee hrs off work to run over there. Last time my son went with an he found several nice shirts an a sweater he just loves. Hoping we have good luck again tomorrow.

Was in line waiting to be checked out and was rudely told by the worker she was going on break so we had to be placed further back in the other line. When brought up to the manger Zach he seemed to not care and actually stood up for her actions. Not the type of customer service I was expecting from a non profit who relies on ppl for their donations.

Elkins Goodwill is just great. I have found so many useful things at this Goodwill. Their new prices and inventory is great. I will admit I do not find what I am looking for all the time but I always find things to buy almost every time I go shopping there. Their inventory keeps changing, so I never know what treasures I am going to find. And If I am not buying some great clothes for myself I can always find some for someone else. The staff is great and always helpful. And I always donate my things to Goodwill. I love this Goodwill. Keep up the great work everyone.

Very happy with the service at goodwill. The sales team is always willing to assist costumers with any questions or concerns. The management and all team members are always kind, friendly, and personable. Sabrina and Zach are a few names that come to mind. Will certainly continue to shop here.

i frequent this store as often as i can, and i love it! the pricing is fair, the items are always in excellent condition, and the staff is always very kind and helpful. the store manager, sabrina george is always quick to help and always has a positive aura about her. you can tell she enjoys her job and is cut out for it! the assistant manager, zackary mallow is also always extremely helpful and kind. i recommend shopping here, you are more than likely to find many hidden treasures! 🧡✔️😊

I've shopped at several Goodwill's in PA and WV. This Goodwill has the best merchandise. I look for rare and unique items and I always find something here. The management and employees are so kind and helpful. The prices are understandable. I love spending money there because I know my money is going to various programs to help the less fortunate. If you have the time read some of the signs that are on top of their prices. You will come to know that by shopping here we are all helping the planet. It doesn't get better than that 🌎😁♻️❤

Okay so I used to love goodwill, but now that prices have went up so much I honestly do not like it. They have the audacity to call themselves a nonprofit organization but in reality they profit off of everything they sell. If you’re getting something for free it should at least be sold very cheap and not anywhere close to or more than the product new. Costumer service is great and the employees are very nice people, and in no way are these problems their fault!

I have shopped at many Goodwill stores throughout WV and other states as well and this one is hands down the most expensive one I’ve found.For example, in Virginia it doesn’t matter if the t-shirt has Under Armor written on it or if it was bought at Walmart, they’re all the same price, but at this Goodwill the “brand name” clothing sells for much higher prices! Even if they’re not in like new condition! Ridiculous! It was all donated for free and it should all be priced the same regardless of what brand it is.

Prices are now based on brand names. Without a guarantee or ability to return items that dont work. Told they test all items before putting out.. but then how do they test the items with no charging cords, battery and one took apart finding it has no brain to even run it. But told it was tested. At 25% off the price of a new one. If your gonna charge so much then there should be somtime of guarantee..

This is by far the best Goodwill I have ever shopped at. Very well managed and organized. Managers Sabrina and Zach were very helpful and answered any questions I had. Very satisfied and I will continue shopping here.

The Goodwill market has completely changed for the worse. Anything, seriously anything they can profit off of they will. You are seeing clothes worth nothing priced highly. It is just sad to see considering Goodwill claims to be “nonprofit”.

I must say the prices is just way over the top everything is just way over the priced !! Sometimes you can find something good with a decent price but I found in Buckhannon and Bridgeport has better items some better prices on things

Excellent service. The two working up front when I shopped there today, Alex and Dillon, were incredibly kind and helpful. The store has a new floor layout and it looks fantastic. Very organized.

I just had an experience at the Elkins store,,my wife and I go to this store very frequently,but today they had a fresh young punk on the register that took the cake!We purchased about $30 of stuff including two bags of chips,but this punk proceeded to put them in the bag first and started throwing all the other merchandise in on top of them! When I brought this to his attention,he got very beligerent to me which just topped the whole experience off.I called for the manager to come up front but the guy walked off from the register before she got there,she told me she'd have a talk to him and I hope that happened!These punkos they hire haveNO COUTH whatsoever!We probably spend a couple thousand $$ there in a years time,but I probably won't go back!!!

Elkins WV Goodwill will not be getting my business anymore. There stuff is priced ridiculously high in there. And they get there stuff for free and jack the prices up. Elkins Goodwill needs new management or something. And stop jacking up prices on stuff that is giving to you guys free.

This store gets a lot of stuff from Pittsburg so it does not rely solely on local donations. They hang the clothes according to size which not all the stores do and the employees seem to genuinely enjoy working there and helping people. The senior discount is only offered on Thursday and they require some kind of ID for Veterans discount which most older vets don't have.

I am not a fan of the prices of the clothing here, especially when I can go to other stores and buy NEW for less. Pricing of other items has gotten out of control as well.Maybe I'm old school, but I always considered thrift stores as places people could go when they didn't have a big budget to buy items.
