As a developer, I have bought materials from a lot of different suppliers. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Prices, on average, are similar to big stores. I have shopped here numerous times and will continue to do so for my projects.

They have almost everything you could want from a building materials store. Prices are great on sale items but other prices are a little high. But that's everywhere. Glad they stay open late. The cashier was super nice and everyone asked if I needed help and when I said no they didn't hover around they went and did their jobs. Which is wonderful. Will continue to shop here.

I love this place. I went for the first time last night because I needed a specific paint color. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The store has such a wide variety of items for sale. Knocked off one star only because the parking lot is very very dark, none of the lot lights were on when I was there around 8:00 pm.

Today was a very big disappointment for us with your Elkin WV store. Went to busy beaver to buy 32 foot of indoor outdoor carpet alone with glue underlay and paint Found a salesperson to help me with the carpet. She said she had to get a assistant manager they returned then told me I couldn’t get the carpet I wanted because it wasn’t load It was laying on the floor . They had rolls that was all but empty but said no we can’t sale it to you until we sale what is loaded. I feel this is a very bad customer service and now will have to go to Lowe’s to purchase about 500.00 dollars of items that I was in your store to buy but your staff didn’t want to take the time to help your customer. Sad love to shop locally.

Very helpful staff with locating items and met me outside to load items. Not like Walmart where no one comes out to load mulch etc and customers end up doing themselves. Great service, highly recommend.

This was my first time in there. I did not know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. We came for floor boards and nails. I left with a wish list. Nice store.

I wanted to price privacy fence panels. The guy didn’t know what they were. He sent me to decking boards! Then when I was explaining it to him he took me to lattice. I told him that wasn’t right his response was we must not have it.

I think they are great. it's another store for more options to buy from. they have great customer service. They are polite and help you the best they are able. I have been there multiple times and have had a good experience every time.

They are Great! My husband oves this store. He goes there foreverthing. . The employees are friendly and helpful. The store has all kinds of stuff in there for home improvement to building even decorating.

They gave a pretty large variety of outdoor gardening and farming items as well as home improvement. Prices are comparable to Lowe's, but a bit less.

I had asked a guy sitting on OSB board, playing on his phone if he could help me find something. He looked up at me annoyed, and motioned to someone who was doing something else and said can you help her. She said yes. She proceeded to follow me then stop and turn around and talk to the guy who was playing on his phone. I never did get the help I needed. Terrible customer service.

As a professional carpenter being my living I was very excited to see a true value opening in Elkins WV after browsing the website and seeing a very large dewalt selection I have to say I am very disappointed with the new stores selection in hand tools power tools and tool storage. Basically nothing there in either selection. Tractor supply has more tools than busy beavers won’t be going back until I see a better tool selection.

They have what you need but 4 times more exercise than every thing else then make you wait in a line for 30 minutes so they can tell you that the item is not found in the system.
